Joe does our bi-yearly maintenance on our system every time, and he is pleasant, and professional. They are prompt, and cordial on the phone, and are on time when the service is due.

This is the second time I have used this company, both times with excellent service! The first time was for a "free" maintenance check for a brand new townhouse I had purchased in Venetian Bay, NSB. The second time because the a/c wasn't cooling as expected. Both service personnel (Larry & Joe, respectively) arrived in a timely fashion, plus they were respectful, competent and friendly! Larry provided a lot of teaching for preventive maintenance & Joe taught me about the issue causing my a/c to malfunction. Plus I got a timely appointment & was treated kindly by Gina the company rep. I would highly recommend this company!

We returned home recently on a hot afternoon to discover our AC wasn't working. We called Von-Aire and much to our surprise, Gina was able to schedule a service call the same day. Joey, the technician, arrived during the scheduled time frame and quickly identified and repaired the problem. Both Gina and Joey were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Von-Aire!

There are some great AC companies in town but this is not one of them. We had a retreat house in Palm Coast and had a boy with autism on the third floor. It was the only floor they could accommodate him and it was the middle of summer and nearly 100° and probably hotter in that room. They had just been out to the house recently to allegedly fix the air conditioner but it was broken and they refused to come back out.

They were absolutely rude and hung up on us and we will never recommend them to our hundreds of friends and family in Volusia county or any location. And I'm a journalist and don't recommend them to my readers. Dr. Mercola and I would never use this company in our lives even if I depended on it.

Joey was very professional, knowledgeable in his profession, friendly, and totally honest. We been using Von-Aire, Inc twice in 14 years since they installed our A/C when our house was built. Highly recommend this family owned company for any problem you may have with your A/C.

The Von Aire service personnel are very professional and knowledgeable of their products. Our repair was a one-time service call and was repaired in less than 20 minutes. They were very prompt on arrival time.

Caveat Emptor! Even though the drain line on my air-con system was clear, it wouldn't drain. Called Von-Aire, whom I've used before. The tech didn't understand the problem, but recommended a new drain line through the attic with a condensate pump. When I called Von-Aire later to discuss the puzzling problem further, they refused to speak to me! Said I could speak to someone when I received their estimate.

Three weeks later, however, still no estimate. Finally, I called to ask for a refund. No refund, and owner refused to speak to me. So, for $80 Von-Aire provided absolutely nothing but a recommendation for an unnecessary and expensive repair. By the way, I eventually solved the problem for less than $50.

Von-Aire people were all responsive, friendly and professional. Installation went as planned/expected in a timely fashion. I spoke with technician Joe when he was onsite and he was excellent in explaining and answering my questions. Richard, the job manager was very responsive and helpful in providing info for me in choosing the right product. I also spoke with Charlene and Gina who both were helpful and professional.

I bought an air conditioner from Von-Aire in spring of 2014 for my second floor home in Florida. I had a serious problem with it a little over a year after purchase. It caused a serious issue because it had frozen up and it couldn't be repaired without the huge block of ice melting. I wasn't at the home for a few months to notice the ice blockage.

After melting to repair it, the water ruined the ceiling in the dining room. I made a home owner's claim with a $500 deductible. (I'd already paid Von-Aire for an expensive service call.) This year when I returned to my home, less than a year it was fixed, the air conditioning unit wasn't working, but no ice this time, a different issue.

I contacted Von-Aire and they did nothing to solve the problem except to come out with another service call fee. They basically said that the unit might break often. I tried to work out a compromise to switch out the unit, but their customer service is so bad, they refused. They just want your money. This time I spoke to the female manager. FYI, I bought my downstairs air condition about 10 years ago from a different company, no problems yet.

Trust me, don't buy from this company. They sale defective or cheap products, and don't make a genuine attempt to resolve the problem, except only if you are willing to pay more money. I'll be calling another company for repairs now and in the future.

We had Von-Aire install units in 2 homes. The first install a few years ago went fine, but the most recent install was horrible. They damaged my wall and made a complete mess. The outside drain line keeps falling off, but no one comes back to fix it. After continual complaints they offered a service, but never sent any documentation on this. I had a recent AC emergency, and they could not come out and service the unit and offered next to no assistance and really poor treatment for a return customer. I would not recommend this company.

Spoke with Nicki part of their office staff, she was extremely helpful and friendly. The technician that came out was "Joey " he was great! Knowledgeable and quick to identify my problem. I use to use another bigger AC company in the area, but no more. I will be using and recommending this company from now on!

We too had AC out (at our retreat house in FLORIDA where we had renters) and it was super hot. Our guests had a son with Autism who was sleeping on the third floor in nearly 100 degree heat in the day. Von Aire could care less though. They had just worked on the place recently (and did not fix it properly nor install the systems properly to begin with. Von Aire refused to come out that day despite it being their fault the system (they recently installed!) wasn't working.

They said we could wait and too bad if we wanted it fixed. When I explained about the hot guest they said "too bad". Then they hung up on us. I felt so awful for the family at our home.

We bought a townhouse in Daytona and had 1 week to get it ready for tenants. We knew we needed an air conditioner and was recommended to use Von-Aire by our realtor. They were out immediately with a quote and in 3 days had it installed. Told us about the $500 rebate with Florida Power and fronted the rebate in with the total cost. Both the saleman and the installer were courteous and professional. And the total cost was less than we anticipated.

Wow, these people must be working for family. Not only do they charge above the competition, they have some kind of problem internally with their employees. Had them out to fix something w/my AC and they acted like they were in some way impaired and also very rude. Unbelievably weird. Not only did they not fix the problem, they actually created another one.

I complained but got someone who I'm sure was the owner protecting his own, who made excuses. Needless to say I've learned how to fix my AC myself and to who ever's listening, before you pick these crazies, you should do the same.
