Sherman Oil

Refused service bc of a previous account 5 years ago to same rental property bc landlord was late on payment. Wow merry Christmas to you too. Hope you too know how it feels to have no heat in middle of winter. Horrible company.

Sherman sent mailer to home congratulating us on purchase of home. In letter, said they installed A/C systems. Called and told that they only do that for existing customers. Why include the offer for new customers when they don't install A/C for new customers? - Sherman Oil followed up and said that this was a mistake by a new employee.

Wasn't paying attention and ran out of oil! Woke up to a cold house and no hot water. Thank you so much for getting here so quick and priming our tank so we could warm up! Fantastic customer service and delivery man was beyond helpful! Thank you!

I left a 5 star review before on oil delivery. Fantastic. This review is about my boiler being serviced. I had an appointment. I over slept. The tech waited 30 mins knocking on the door several times then had to leave. I called Sherman and he came back out shortly after. That is customer service. I've had this appointment for 6 weeks. They are so good here they are slammed with work. My tech Jamie was great. Very chill professional and polite. Highly recommend Sherman oil.

This oil company is total RIP. Forcing us to buy 150 gallons. When befor it was 100. Gallons. Tanks on empty. And they basically said to bad we cant deliver 100 gallons that you can afford I am disabled and could not afford the cost of 150 gallons and then forced to pay for an additive. Changing to Charlton oil. Nice polite people there. And worked with me. Unlike Sherman oil. Yea was 100 gallons until you bought out fountain oil witch is what I used to use. And they were 100 gallons. Your people are rude and disrespectful.

Not very understanding used to get 100 gallons of heating oil at a time now they wont deliver unless I get 150 gallons and the additive. I am disabled I could not afford the 150 gallons and additive. They would not work with me at all and oil tank is near empty. Called charlton oil and they were very respectful and understanding and will deliver 100 gallons and no additive forced on me as well. Sherman oil pretty much told me to bad call back when you can afford the cost of 150 gallons and the additive. I will be telling all my friends about charlton oil and how nice they are. Will be staying with charlton oil from now on.

Sherman Oil is the best oil company I have ever used! They have saved me in the dead winter more than once and I can't thank them enough!

My family has been with Sherman's forever, from mom to son eventually to grandkids, they care and you see and talk to people and are a family oriented business, thanks for everything!

We contracted Sherman Oil to install a new oil furnace several months back. Rick worked up the proposal and we scheduled to have it installed this month. Two gentlemen showed up shortly after 8 in the morning and were joined by two others shortly thereafter. These guys worked all day and came back at 1 the next day, as promised, to finish. My husband and I were very impressed with their capability, efficiency, and thoroughness.

I wrote this review to comment on the incredible professionalism and work ethic of the Sherman Oil Staff. Our furnace is a work of art and so quiet! By the way, I was surprised when they refunded some money because, unknown to me, they did not need all the parts list e d on the proposal. I am so happy we chose you guys.thanks!

Great company, had oil delivered for 7 years and I can't think of a negative. As a home owner you want fast and responsive company who can deliver and service. Drivers are great, wife and I always saw a welcomed face, especially when u need oil. Call ahead delivery can take a few days, but willing to squeeze you in when possible. Thanks for the warm home, moving further outside their delivery area. Otherwise would have them deliver to new house.

We have been using Sherman Oil for the past six years and their service has always been great even with weekend emergencies with boiler issues. In the weeks prior to the new year we went through a lot of oil and found ourselves very low during a holiday weekend. We called and assured us that we should have enough oil to get through the weekend and they would be able to deliver on Tuesday.

We woke up this morning (Sunday, new year eve) with an oil delivery so we would not have to worry. This goes beyond the normal excellent service and we are glad to continue having them.

Worst company to deal with! Called for an oil deliver and paid upfront. Was told I would get my delivery the next day.never came. Had to wait until the next week for oil. When they finally showed up the driver told me a total for payment.um no. I made him call his boss to straighten it out. Fews days later I receive a bill in the mail for half the amount I definitely already paid for. Better off using someone else and save yourself the headache.

I'm updating my review because I've had nothing but problems with this boiler and Sherman. Shortly after having the boiler installed, it shut off. Sherman Oil came out and fixed it. Then a few weeks later, it shut off again. Sherman came out and fixed it. This has happened at least 6 times since and I'm sick of it. This all culminated a few weeks ago when we went away for the weekend.

We came home to a house which was 20 degrees and all of our pipes froze, then burst and now I'm dealing with a major insurance claim. I'm beyond done with this company and their shotty work. Finally, when I called the company to speak to a manager, I was met with attitude and no returned call. I just called again, as my furnace is not working, and I hope they have the professionalism to call back this time. Buyer beware!
