Great prices, service team was good and knowledgeable. Happy with the job done and wouldn't hesitate to refer them to friends and family. Just an update- had additional work done. Added a mini split and new tankless water heater to the house. Ari and his guys were fantastic again and promptly informed me of everything going on. Really great business.

So thankful for Beyer heating and cooling. My in laws AC went out in the middle of this heat wave, they sent someone out the next morning and 2 days later had a new unit installed. Great service and very professional. Would highly recommend

On Saturday our air conditioning stopped working. I was referred to Beyer. I contacted them and they did our repairs and maintenance early this morning. Everyone was so nice. Everything was explained to me. Their cost was very reasonable. We are very happy and they will be our go to for heating & cooling issues. We highly recommend them.

Furnace went down and had to quickly make a call for estimates. Came out and gave us a fair price, even upgraded us with a humidifier and new thermostat. Install was fine, clean when done and took less time than they originally said. Owner of company was involved with me directly, which is nice. My AC went out on a Saturday during a heat wave over the summer. A tech named Austin came out shortly after I called. He was polite as could be and quickly figured out what was wrong then went to get a compressor part for the repair. Then, yesterday my Lennox furnace had some diagnostic issues and stopped working. I spoke with the company owner Ari. Ari had me up and running again shortly after. Exceptional service and fair pricing - thank you!

I would give the Beyer team 10 stars if I could. I worked with them years ago at my first house in Berkley when I replaced the furnace and added air conditioning and it was an awesome experience. Over the years, they did regular maintenance, along with doing check on HVAC systems for home we were considering purchasing. And just recently, they replaced our furnace in our new home -- they were helpful, on time, professional -- everything you want in a HVAC team.

I just had an in home estimate and the representative Austin was so awesome. He was professional, super knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely book their services if he's any type of representation of the company! Thank you Austin!

Big shout out to Beyer Heating and Cooling! Came home yesterday 9am to 47 house. They were out here by 11 to diagnose-needed a new furnace. Brought me 2 space heaters to use overnight and they worked awesome! (Low last night was 11°) Kept the house around 60 all day and thru the night. They showed up at 8 this morning and were done by 1pm. Got me a great price and install was easy and painless with the great technicians they employ. Again can't recommend them highly enough!

Unfortunately we had to replace the furnace in our new home, but we were lucky to work with Beyer! When we bought the house almost 2 years ago, the inspector warned us this would happen soon, and last week was it. We had used Beyer in the past for small fixes, and my parents used them about 10 years ago to install 2 systems in their house so we went to them right away for our replacement.

We did get a second quote, which was very similar in pricing, however we've always had such great experiences we wanted to keep with this relationship. They were able to move some appointments around to prioritize us due to no heat, the work was done within a few hours, they cleaned everything up, the men were pleasant to have in the home, and they explained what they did, and what they needed to come back to complete (a small piece of metal had to be replaced due to the weird things the old owner did with their last furnace). Everyone we've dealt with from the owner to the front desk admin has been amazing to work with, and I HIGHLY recommend!

I had A/C replaced and it was a perfect experience from start to finish- Fair price, knowledgable, on time, fast, efficient, clean. They went above and beyond! I was actually sad when they left. :

We used Beyer when replacing the furnace and A/C at our current home, and for work on our furnace and A/C at the former house. The service is always prompt and professional, the price is reasonable, the techs always clean up the area when they're through, . Ari the owner is also great to deal with. Highly recommend them!

Have been using Beyer H and C for approx 15 years and have always had excellent service! Their technicians are professional and knowledgeable and the owner has always taken the time to explain all of my options. I have only had positive experiences with this company and will continue to use them for my heating and cooling needs.

Came out same day--within 3 hours of requesting service. Technicians repaired my furnace in under 90 minutes. The diagnosis matched my research, so I felt pretty confident in their trustworthiness. I strongly recommend this company based on my experience.

Saw the bad rating on yelp, but I was referred by a friend so I thought I would at least get an estimate from them. From then it was a completely different experience than any bad comment I saw on here. For starters I usually never comment on any vendors or places on here normally but after doing a lot of yelp "research" I figured I would give some research material to someone looking at this.

From my experience 80% of the time people come on here to just complain, the places that have 50+ 5 star ratings are just there because the vendor has been hounding them to comment and they do it to be nice. Beyer heating and cooling hasn't even brought up reviewing them. They did what a great service provider does, provide great service. For starters, I got an estimate within hours of calling, AND they were able to come out the day after giving the OK.

They worked around my schedule and were in and out in just a few hours. That's not the thing that impressed me the most though, I was most impressed by the fact that they talked me out of anything I didn't need. I was ready to buy the latest and greatest furnace and AC thing, a sales person's dream. They found out what I needed and recommend what I actually needed, nothing more.

So the combination of great service and advice I'm glad I trusted, led me to wanting to leave this comment and give this rating. I now have a warm and happy wife all while paying much less than I thought, who could ask for more.

BUYER BEWARE! This company AND its employees will cut corners, hide stuff, and do a bad job. If they come across something that creates extra work for them they will not even tell you about it. They will simply keep it a secret and hide it. They overcharge for crappy work so it's not even like you are getting a deal. Read their other reviews across Google and other locations. Both the owner and his workers are at fault for this. Other review will back up exactly what I tell you here.

Techs try to sell you things you do not need at a highly overpriced amount. Look else where for your heating and cooling issues.

Originally purchased my central heat and air unit with these guys a couple years ago. Today we had a power surge from a downed power line a couple doors down and when the power came back up my furnace would not come on. Since it was electrical I got an electrician out right away. They found nothing wrong on that end and now it was after hours. (8pm).

I called Beyers to get someone out this evening since I have 2 small children in the house. They actually have someone answering phone calls at that time of night. She took my information and said she would pass on the info to the tech and I would be getting a call from him on his availability. 2 hours later I was still waiting on the phone call. I called them back and had to give my information again.

Yes at this point I am now calling other heating and cooling company's to try and get someone out. I finally did receive a phone call from Beyers at 10:45 pm. The tech said turn it all off and back on to see if it would reset. We had already done this with the electrician and when I told him this he said we are book all night and try calling in the morning to see if they could fit me in tomorrow. Guess who I won't be calling in the morning. That's right Beyers.

I own several properties in Ferndale so I deal with a lot of contractors and repair companies. Over the years I have seen it all, and most of it is not good. Over this last year I have had 3 furnaces replaced by Beyer and I could not be more satisfied with the entire experience. From quote to final inspection Ari Byer and his team put the customer first. Quality work, quick timing, very competitive pricing and easy to work with. I'm not easily impressed but Beyer H&C has certainly done it. I highly recommend them!

Despite grossly overcharging me on a new high efficiency furnace and A/C back in 2005, this is my normal go-to place for issues relating to my heating/cooling functionality. I can kinda forgive them for taking advantage of a naive new homeowner who just wanted the soot spewing monster out of her basement as soon as possible. Reasons for only 3 stars: -As someone who deals with large & small companies on a daily basis, I expect a certain level of customer service. Answering the phone with a weak "hello" doesn't cut it.

Make sure I know that I'm definitely calling the right place, otherwise I might just hang up, thinking I misdialed and got grandma. -Your prices are higher than some of the bigger names in heating/cooling in Clawson and Royal Oak. I know, because when I thought I misdialed they got my business instead. -Your answering machine is very obviously a home answering machine.

Maybe I'm just being picky, but some of the smallest businesses I've dealt with still manage to have a professional message system. Check into grasshopper.com, they're affordable, there's not much of an excuse not to switch. -Trying to get someone to come out after hours is virtually impossible. You've lost my business on more than one occasion after I've left a message on the answering machine, realized nobody was going to respond until the next day, and opted to call a different company instead of waiting. Again, a cheap call forwarding service could fix this. I'll continue to support this Ferndale business, but after a few years of dealing with the above issues, I've saved the number of other heating/cooling services that seem to understand the 24/7 nature of their business.
