History Blue-Ray Mechanical started in 1949 in Detroit, growing from a residential heating, cooling, and boiler company to now offering dozens of services to both commercial and residential clients. We continue to be a family owned and operated company, now in its 3rd generation. In 2004, we relocated to Hazel Park and continue working throughout the Tri-county area.

We had a Very Old steam boiler. And we were having a hard time finding someone o come out and give us a fair price on a new one. A friend suggested we give Blue Ray a call. And I'm glad we did! From the estimate to the installation, these guys were nothing but professional. They were courteous and listened to all of our concerns and addressed them.
I used to work in the skilled trades, so I can smell who's real and who's not. They came when they said they would 8am sharp. And they had the old unit out and the new unit in by 1 oclock! I was very impressed with the speed in which they worked. I would, and have been recommending them to all my neighbors! They really do a job right!

I've been working with Blue Ray for over ten years on a number of projects and so far they have installed 3 furnaces (two forced air and one boiler), corrected flue work, and repaired a couple of older furnaces. All the work was excellent and innovative when needed. They are fairly priced, very knowledgeable, and there when you need them.

Blue-Ray is the place to go for your furnace needs I called the company at 1:00 because of a problem with my AC I was told someone could come out tomorrow morning but if there was a tech available today they would send one out today. It was less than 35 minutes when Matt called back and said a tech would be out in an hour in a half. Matt D from the D was here within the hour.
He was a pleasant young man, very knowledgeable he fixed our problem and did extra to our furnace. We were instructed how to maintain the furnace. The price was right no hidden charge and he came bearing gifts. Thank you so much for your service Woohoo BLUE RAY

I had Blue Ray replace an old steam boiler that died on me this past winter and I cannot say enough good things about Blue Ray. I had zero heat in my house (it was 5 degrees outside) and called Blue Ray along with a few other H&C places to get quotes. Not only was Blue Ray the only one that completely analyzed my system to ensure we got the right size boiler (measuring all of the radiators one by one in the house), but they had the new boiler installed for me the next day!
The pricing was competitive and there were no hidden charges, which is great when you desperately need help (and heat!).
