Schneider Heating & Air Conditioning

I have used Schneider Heating & A/C for a new furnace and for duct and vent cleaning so when it was time for a new A/C unit I knew I would be working with them again. I made an appointment with Rick to get a quote to install a new A/C unit. He showed up on time, was very friendly and answered all of my questions. He showed me a few different options and gave me a thorough explanation of the benefits and cost of the unit he suggested.

This was on a Wednesday and he called me a few hours later to let me know he could have it installed on Friday. CJ and Ser showed up Friday right on time. They were very friendly and explained what they would be doing and about how long they thought they would be there. They sent me a message when they were done a few hours later and asked me if they should lock the doors. I would highly recommend Schneider Heating & A/C to anyone who is looking for installation or maintenance of their HVAC system in their home or business.

They were professional installing our Geothermal units, very responsive and cleaned up after themselves which I always appreciate. Very important to me was that they were very transparent and did not install things that would not benefit the heating & cooling of our home. Service: Install AC

Be careful when hiring this company, apparently each technician has the ability to charge you per minute or what ever they feel on top of what you already are paying to come out and look at a heater/thermostat in this case. Technician was at my place for less than 15 minutes and was going to charge me on top of the initial diagnosis fee ($79 for diagnosis and 30 mins of techs time) for 15 minutes of his time which was another $40. Thankfully I paid for his service before he came out and when I questioned why he was charging me more than what I had already paid his response was "well it's a good thing you pre payed I guess you got lucky".

This technician also thinks I trust him to buy a new thermostat and give me truthful quote of anything at this point and went ahead and ordered a new one without informing me of my options or why I now new such and expensive thermostat ($349). Calling this company back to check into how this experience went doesn't prove to do much either. Feedback from the service supervisor while they apologies for the technician's behavior basically tells me this particular technician is usually very good "unless he is in a mood and I am not sure what kind of mood he was in". So take your chances when hiring this company on getting a technician that is professional and in a good mood!

When I woke up to only 52 degrees inside my home with an ailing furnace, Schneider promptly sent technician Dan. He was professional and quickly determined repairs needed. He advised me how to get some heat from unit until new part could be installed. A couple days later installation was completed by Kyle who did an excellent job. Best part under warranty!

I have been so impressed with Schneider Heating & Air Conditioning over the years that they have helped me and my family. Years ago I was impressed that the technician who came to look at our broken furnace didn't try to sell us a new furnace but was able to repair it with a relatively inexpensive part that bought us a couple more years of life for that old unit.

I would have easily believed we needed a new furnace. It was old at the time. He acted in a way that was helpful to my family and prioritized that over profits to the business. More recently, the folks at Schneider were super helpful in working with my parents to install a new furnace and air conditioner and followed up with them in a very timely manner to address a couple issues with the new unit. They are very focused on customer service and do what it takes to make things right.

Friendly, kind young man thoroughly check the lack of heat I was receiving and determined that the thermostat was providing heat on "Cool" and cold air on "Heat". Very strange. He replaced it and then advised me about my central air conditioner pipe insulation repair. Very nice. Great service!

Rick, Mark & the team over at Schneider Heating & AC are truly best in class! Working with the team to replace our furnace was a breeze from quote to install. The service technicians were professional & knowledgeable. They took time after the install to explain the new system and set up and program the thermostat. My original three-star review included a detailed description of a grievance I had regarding my bill after I had talked to Schneider's billing department about it. Long story short, I needed my gas meter moved. Xcel Energy required a licensed installer to sign off on the plumbing which connects the meter to the house. The installers did nice, quality work.

Not only was it functional, but it was aesthetically pleasing as well. My issue was with the number of installers required for the job. After writing my original review, I found myself on the phone talking directly with Mark Schneider. It was a pleasant, civil conversation, and we came to an agreement which made both sides happy. In the end, Schneider made it right.

They now receive the full five stars which is what they would've received had this small kerfuffle not happened. I told Mark that I'd keep them in mind for a quote if I need heating/cooling services in the future.
