Friendly, professional, personable, and neat as a pin. He did a very thorough job on our furnace. We questioned him on new Heat & AC. They were fabulous with setting up a zoning system in our basement project. We've used the for two other furnace installations, and they installed the system in our current home. This is the third set of furnace and air conditioners that this company has installed for me. I have had them for service work for over 30 years. Their service personnel are knowledgeable, do a professional installation, and are always available for consultation. Their prices are also reasonable. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Our AC went down in July on a hot Saturday night and Dave Droegkamp was one of the first companies to get back to us after reaching out for quotes. The representative was able to stop by after hours on Monday to go through all the options with us and took the time to answer all our questions. He was very friendly and professional. They were able to make a window for us a few days later for install.
The crew showed up on time (a few minutes early even) and got right to work. They were professional, friendly, and wore masks when requested. The only surprise was that an electrician had to stop by afterwards to update our breaker and the crew didn't mention anything about this. Overall working with DD heating was a positive experience and I would definitely recommend to friends/family.

I woke up in the middle of the night to an extremely warm house, something was wrong with our AC unit. As a first time mom with a newborn baby in the house I was worried, to say the least. I called Dave Droekamp Heating & Cooling first thing in the morning and the owner of the company was on his way over within 15 minutes! John was very thoughtful and professional with using shoe protectors and wearing a mask. He fixed the issue within 20 minutes. All in all a great experience. 10/10 would recommend!

I've used Dave Droegkamp (not to be confused with the other Droegkamp) for years and they are fantastic. Our heater went out during the infamous Arctic Vortex a few years ago and the on-call tech spent hours with me on the phone helping me get our furnace up and running on the weekend at night (I'm decently handy - just needed a little guidance). They've maintained and repaired my very old AC/furnace at our new house as well. Highly recommend - I wish every service company was like these guys.

Best Heating and Air place I've found. Really top notch people. I've had them do a complete system replacement, plus a couple of custom jobs that required a bit of engineering. All the way up to smart-home integration, which involves some forward thinking to really get the most out of the capabilities. Very enjoyable to work with them. Price is the same as anyone else who's' reputable. Give or take $100 would be my guess. Highly recommend.

Our experience with Dave Droegkamp could not have been more positive. We have worked with many contractors on various projects around our home (previous HVAC work, new roof, siding, two window contractors, plumbing, drywall, carpenters, cabinet installers, skylight installation, etc) and our experience with Dave Droegkamp ranks at the very top of our experiences.
We needed to determine what HVAC option would work best for us since we are finishing our second story attic and were choosing between a forced air furnace and a heat pump. We had 11 different contractors come to give us their recommendation and to explain the process. Our salesman, Dan, was the ONLY one of all the companies we met with that actually inspected our current furnace and its capabilities and told us that our current furnace for the first story is large enough to heat our second story, and gave us options for dampers so that we could control each floor's heat independently.
All other contractors said we would need a new furnace for the second story or we would need to install a heat pump (both options would have cost us thousands of extra dollars and padded those salesman's pockets). After his visit we did extensive research about this and determined that in fact he was absolutely correct. Dan was the only salesman to tell us honestly that we did not need to spend thousands of extra dollars for another furnace.
In addition, Dan gave us two brand options for the new AC unit we installed. Contractors that offer more options to customers at different price points and clearly outline the benefits of each brand are far more trustworthy in my opinion. Our installation was seamless, and the installers were incredibly professional and answered every detailed question we asked during the install.
They walked us through exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it. Since the install, we have noticed that our furnace runs less often in cold weather, which is precisely what Dan said would happen because our current furnace is now the appropriate size for our house and is no longer short cycling. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave Droegkamp to anyone.
They are a business that truly cares about educating their customers about their products and the process, and are transparent throughout the process. Their pricing was far more competitive than any other contractor because of their honest assessment of what was needed to heat our house effectively. I appreciate an honest company that treats me with respect. Thank you Dave Droegkamp.
