Swift Plumbing & Heating

If you have heating plant issues, pass these guys by. Was referred to them by my usual service company as their tech had passed away. Had to make an appointment two weeks out; when the tech arrived and opened up my boiler it was clear he was unfamiliar with it, even to the point of having to call the manufacturer. He was put on hold for nearly half an hour, for which I was no doubt charged.

I say 'no doubt', as when the bill arrived it was not itemized, as nearly any other business would do. No hourly rate, no price for parts, no travel time. Just an obscene amount for a small part and about two hours labor. When I called the company I was told "that's just the way we do it." Well, good for them, but I will not be a repeat customer. As others have stated-- if I could give a negative star, I would.

I feel violated. I had a toilet replaced. A contractor told me the going rate was $225 but I was charged $325. More than the cost of the toilet itself, which I bought. The crew was very nice and they did a good job. But I got sticker shock when the bill came. I feel like I was taken advantage of.

Drew Seeley and the other plumber (I forget her name) were prompt and efficient and professional. They assessed what was needed and made the repair in 15 minutes. I highly recommend them and Swift Plumbing. Service: Repair water fixtures

Good advice.stay away from these folks. Just finished speaking with Brad, manager, who essentially told me Swift was not going to be responsible for a failed freeze free hot/cold exterior hose bib they installed for me back in Feb of 2020. The unit they installed was of sub-standard quality and on top of that, it was installed incorrectly. That's why it froze and burst. Brad says he will not accept responsibility for improper installation and in so many words.told me to 'get lost'.

This guy is a real peach when it comes to rude and being disrespectful to customers. Keep in mind, I spent thousands of dollars with these folks over the years.and that doesn't seem to mean anything to Brad. Needless to say, I will never call them again. After I mentioned the same to Brad, his response was a 'smarmy' so what and so long.

Whatever happened to respectful business representatives who actually accepted responsibility and are willing to be held accountable? You won't find any such thing here. Too bad yelp doesn't have a negative star zone.

Swift plumbing is great. They do excellent work with ethical honest business practice. They fixed my broken pipe emergency quickly!

Our pipes froze in the first really cold temperatures after a remodel contractor apparently did not insulate the pipes or interior cavities of the house. It was then raining from the carport, and as a result, we had to shut off our water to the house;- for three days, at Christmas. We were on a lot of waiting lists, but never actually got a visit (or a call back) from most of this company's competitors.

Then these two brave souls showed up- Isaiah and Chris, driving their 12' truck. We are very difficult to get to in the the best of conditions, and here they are- two knights in shining box truck, braving 2 deep ice on a 45 degree hill, come to save my family like some Christmas movie miracle. KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PERSONABLE they set my mind at ease- these men were here to help and WASTED NO TIME getting to business.

Like some magical plumbing pit crew, they thawed and replaced our frozen pipes; educated us on how to take care of them until a more permanent solution could be deployed; and even played with my dog while waiting for a family member who had gone to fetch some materials for them. I have been using Swift for the last 10 years and have nothing but praise for the company. The workers are very knowledgeable, polite and always leave the site cleaner than when they arrived. Prices are very competitive and they always give me a couple of options to choose from while explaining each one throughly. You cannot go wrong using Swift!

I've had Swift Plumbing come out for several issues and their plumbers have always been friendly and knowledgeable. Today Mason came out to look at my leaky outside faucets - identified and fixed the problem right away, and explained to me what to do in the future. We had Swift plumbing come out to give us a bid on moving our shower valve and roughing in our bathroom for a freestanding tub. The gentleman who was at the house said he would send us a bid in a few days. After a few days, I called to follow up on the bid which I never received. I was informed that they were too busy to complete the work or bother giving a quote.

I never received an email or phone call from them saying this and the plumber who came to my house promised a bid within a few days. They also don't help you pick out any valves or help decide which would fit your bathroom.

Had a leaky bathroom sink supply line, the type that's permanently attached to the shutoff valve. One of those things you can do yourself, but the peace of mind that comes with having a professional do it is totally worth it. They were quick and thorough, professional and courteous. If I could give them negative stars I would. We had a leak coming from upstairs - Swift came out 3 different times only to NEVER diagnose problem. The last time we had them come out they tore a huge hole in our downstairs bathroom ceiling and said they couldn't go any further because there was mold. They said Servpro would have to come out and remediate the mold.

Then sense they couldn't go farther downstairs they went upstairs and ripped toilet out, cut a big hole in drywall and couldn't find anything. They left my house a mess, left toilet laying on floor and said guess I will have to go to hotel. We called Servpro - they came out and said there was NO mold! They methodically looked at water trail and asked if Swift ever took kickplate off dishwasher because they were pretty sure that was where the water was coming from (this from Servpro who are not plumbers but we're smarter than Swift).

So we call Swift back and told them what Servpro said - they were very rude this time so we told them forget it and we would find another plumber. So after all that we called Ricks Plumbing in Suquamish and bam he came out immediately and fixed the problem - supply line to dishwasher. He was shocked that Swift could not figure it out and was also shocked how swift left the toilet on floor in bathroom. Rick was great and he gets 5 stars. Called because I thought we had a leaky pipe. Turns out it was just the wax seal on the toilet. They even installed the new toilet repair kit I had planned on installing myself. I will recommend them every time!

Thursday, August 13, I contacted Swift plumbing to unclog my kitchen sink. They quoted Monday, but the next day, Friday, they had a cancellation. Errol and Dan showed up about 11 AM, looked at the job, fetched their equipment, did the job, and were on their way to the next job in about 15 minutes. I gave them five stars in this review because they were quick, knowledgeable, clean, and efficient and the price was very acceptable. I'd earlier called another service but they wanted $300, far more than I thought reasonable or could afford for what I knew to be a simple straight-forward drain cleaning and declined.

I called several other services who were non-commital about pricing. Swift Plumbing and Heating were also cagey but promised they "would work with" me and they did. For that reason, I would recommend Swift Plumbing and Heating to anyone with clogged drains and a limited budget.

Many DIY plumbing jobs quickly escalate into full blown nightmares. Swift Plumbing came to our rescue when a booster pump failure and subsequent repair effort all went wrong. Christian (from Swift) responded in 30 minutes and fixed the problem. He was very friendly and courteous, but more importantly he was efficient. Christian had us up and running again in 45 minutes after we spent all day on the problem. Thank you Swift - you are my go to plumber 24x7!

We had some plumbing work that needed to be done on an older home we had purchased--nothing too exciting or complicated, (leaky faucets, removal of toilets, new shower heads/bath kit). We were not given an estimate of the work costs initially and, given the straightforward nature of the items on the list, I wasn't expecting it to be too much.

Imagine my surprise when we opened an email to find a bill for almost $2000! According to the owner, that was the "cost" of the work done. In all fairness, he discounted our bill about 15%, and apologized that we hadn't received a quote in advance. (Needless to say, if we had been quoted that much, we would have contacted another company!) We've now moved into the house and have discovered that the new bath kit that was installed is loose and falling out of the wall and a shower head they installed doesn't work. Great. now we have to call another plumber out to fix their work. We'll definitely be looking for one that is a bit more reasonable and upfront! Also, of note, there were scheduling issues and I ended up waiting at the property one day for them to arrive, almost three hours late. Yikes!

All of that being said, they escaped a one star review because they did work with us a little, and the plumber they sent was a really sweet and kind young man. I always appreciate a good attitude!

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. We moved to a previously owned condo and there are a number of small things that need professional attention, and the two teams from Swift Plumbing that have been here to help have been extraordinary. My handyman was here on their first and he was running after them asking them for business cards to recommend them. They are that good! Monica schedules the repairs from their office, and she is a jewel to. I strongly recommend this company! Thanks Joel and team!

From my online request to appointment to service I felt the goal was getting my problem solved. Jason was professional and easy to communicate with. The work was completed quickly and the price was reasonable. I would definitely use Swift Plumbing again and recommend them to others.

We have had two great experiences with Swift. They were able to get us into their schedule quickly and solved out problems (replacing angle stops and a water shut off valve) in less time than expected. Everyone we interacted with from the phone call to the plumbers were kind and professional. We would most definitely use them again.

First of all, calling the office is the first good experience you will have with Swift Plumbing. The courtesy and humor of the people in the office is wonderful. The plumbers arrived a little before they were scheduled, but they called first. They LISTENED to what I thought the issues were, then went through the list and rectified everything quickly and efficiently.

Swift Plumbing installed a gas line for a new stove and a propane fireplace. The technicians were marvelous. They were on time (actually a bit early) and were pleasant and competent. They checked with me every time a decision had to be made so there were no surprises for me when the job was completed. I have plans for another job that will involve gas lines and will definitely call Swift to do the job for me. This is the 2nd time I have used Swift Plumbing & Heating. They saved me again. Had a kitchen remodel, the water reducer was not installed correctly by someone else, had to get a professional to get the job done right! These guys are on it and very friendly. We had a few gas leaks in our water heater and also our fireplace and I had asked for a recommendation for a good plumbing service. A lot of people had recommended Swift Plumbing and Heating. I actually first contacted them on Facebook and Corina had responded very swiftly. She gave me all the information I needed and when I called to schedule she was nothing short of amazing when it came to customer service.

She was so nice and understanding of my lack of plumbing knowledge when trying to schedule this appointment. Trever and Cody were the plumbers that they sent and they were amazing. Super professional, they even took off their shoes when coming into the house, which they didn't have to do! My two year old was there with me and Trever kept talking to her and making conversation with her, which she appreciated!

She kept asking if they had fixed her bath (we had no hot water temporarily ) and he happily was able to tell her that they had fixed it! She was so excited. I appreciated all the work that they had done, they worked in a very timely fashion, were very professional, and I would definitely have them come back for my future issues!

This company has a reputation for doing good work but they charge an hour for an estimate took more than a week to deliver that estimate. The estimate was for 12 hours of work for a job that only needed two hours. This company is way way overpriced

Another great experience with Swift Plumbing today. I have been doing business with these folks since 2003. Today I was having my hot water heater replaced. Josh and Isaih arrived right on time, right after 8 a.m. They were wearing their company uniforms, had foot covers, laid down runners to protect my floors and got right to work. They were very friendly and nice.

The project finished at about 11 a.m. as projected. After they were gone, I went to the work area to clean up only to find that they had completely vacuumed and cleaned the area already. Nothing for me to do. This was another example of Swift's commitment to great work for a fair price. They obviously are particular about their technicians, these guys were great and treated me and my home with respect. I would recommend these folks to anyone. Terry M. Suquamish

They were fantastic! I called first thing in the morning. They were here in a couple hours. They even called before they came so we could put the dog away. Our hot water heater pilot went out. They fixed it in 20 minutes. I'll be calling them to replace it soon as well!

Swift Plumbing is very courteous, professional, and efficient company. I have had them do very small jobs such as repair and replace valves, to larger jobs re-routing drain lines and service lines as well as large jobs installing new plumbing service in an entire basement. No matter how large or small the project is, they are always there when they say they will be and charge what they say will be charged. Their employees are all very courteous and accommodating when they arrive. I would highly recommend Swift Plumbing for any plumbing requirements you may have.

We recently had Swift plumbing come out for two relatively small issues around our hot water system. Both times, even though they were very busy they made time for us, which was very helpful because other providers were estimating many days out and not being flexible or even trying to fit us in. Swift Plumbing did a great job and great customer service. They responded quickly to my call and Corina was able to schedule a plumber to fix a pin hole leaking gas line. There price is decent (not too high) and their quality of work is outstanding. Great job! Highly recommended.

Two years ago we had Swift come to clear a pretty bad sink/tub clog that another plumbing company couldn't clear. The tech was very friendly, professional, and cleared it. The fee was reasonable too. Two years ago I would've given them 5 stars. When we had another tub clog (old plumbing) this month we didn't hesitate to call them again, scheduled an appt for a few days later, soonest they could come out, which was fine. Tech came out (friendly and in and out in 25 minutes) cleared the clog with his electric coil/snake tool and went on his merry way.

Then we get the bill for $275 before tax! I spoke with Brad from Swift who informed me that this is their flat rate for clearing clogs. He did give me a one-time discounted rate of $175 as the tech neglected to inform me of the fee, which is a big help -but still, how can we possibly use them again in the future?

As someone who just moved to Port Ludlow and not knowing anyone I have found it to be very difficult finding contractors that take so much pride in there work. It's a great relief knowing that I can cross finding a trustworthy plumber off my list. Also, I think your prices are more then fair and look forward to working with you on our bathhouse project. These people TOTALLY rock! A few weeks ago our hot water heater quit working the morning of a day when we were having a house full of company for an evening gathering. Not only did they show up within a short time of me calling in desperation.the fix was a bit of a challenge and they had to come a second time that day to accomplish it. Customer service like that is invaluable and I can HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone in need!
