They believed that providing fuel delivery and servicing oil burning equipment in a prompt and courteous manner was a service needed in the Greater Portland area. As the years passed and the business continued to grow so did the reputation of a solid, trustworthy company. Our computerized degree-day system allows us to track your oil fuel usage and schedule oil deliveries so you never have to worry about running out of fuel. When you need your next fuel delivery please give us a call and we will dispatch one of our trucks to your location.
Authorize us to automatically pay with a credit card on file following a delivery or service. When you sign up for our budget program, we examine your fuel usage history, estimate your costs for the year, and divide your total estimated fuel bill into two, ten, or twelve equal monthly payments. We will provide you with monthly payment mailers that you may use to send in your payments each month.
Our service associates are friendly, knowledgeable, licensed technicians available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our fleet of service vehicles are fully equipped and ready to handle emergency calls, routine service calls, and installations. Frederick Bros. provides professional services to keep your heating system running at peak performance and annual cleanings are essential to trouble free uninterrupted operation. We have been using Frederick Brothers for propane since our house was built in 2019. Never an issue with timing or service. Customer service is top notch. My 85 year old mother waited to call her oil company for a fill the day before a blizzard and they wouldn't even consider an emergency delivery. I called Frederick Brothers and they came the same day to fill my mother's oil tank.
The person I booked the appointment with was incredibly kind and accommodating, explained the details of the emergency service fully. The driver called ahead to let me know when he would be there and once he arrived was also incredibly kind and helpful. He got right to work and got the mom the oil she needed ahead of the storm. Really saved us in an emergency and did it with smiles and quality customer service.

Frederick's was very responsive and affordable. They set up me up as a customer and delivered the same day. The operations manager picked the phone right up, he was helpful, friendly and very easy to work with. The delivery driver was very nice, professional and did a great job. I am very impressed with Frederick Bros, my only regret is I didn't switch sooner!

Be aware, when you are completing the Application that you are also requesting service at the same time. They did not follow up, nor confirm any information, upon completion of the application. We received an email stating someone would be in touch. No one did so we figured it would be best to reach out to another company. Biggest issue is lack of communication.
A few weeks later Fredericks showed up at our house without warning and filled up our tank without our knowledge/confirmation. We had already confirmed with another company for fulfillment service, which was scheduled for the same day. The company that we paid and confirmed service with was not able to fill the requested amount. The other company was more than willing to work out a solution and were respectful in working out a resolution.
When following up with Fredricks to resolve the issue, the staff was rude and not willing to negotiate pricing or acknowledge how their "Residential Credit Application & Customer Information" is misleading. This form is a automatic service request form, not an application, is what I was told. But no were on the form did it state service request only inquiry.
Essentially they provided service that we did not officially request and when calling to come to an understanding, I was treated like scum who knows nothing and should move on with my life. Their Customer Service is the worst I have ever experienced and wish no one has to experience what I went through. The service they provide is fine, pricing is higher than others in the area. I'm sure they are fine if there is no issue, but they don't respect customer concerns.

In the painful process of building, Frederick Brothers was a breath of fresh air! I was notified by my builder around noon today(Friday mind you) that I needed to choose a propane company to set up an account with and get the tanks delivered. I called another company first to see if I could get someone out there by Monday at the latest as we are in serious crunch time to finish the house by the deadline.
The soonest they could get to my house was in 10 days (which is the date of our deadline). I declined. I then called Frederick Bros and I'm so happy I did. I dealt with Devin and he was very professional and wanted to do everything he could to get my house set up for service. He was able to get someone out to my house within hours! He was extremely prompt and stuck to his word.
I felt like he went the extra mile to take care of what needed to get done in the short amount of time I needed it done. These guys are proficient and do great work. They exceed my expectations of a propane company by far!

We just bought our first home and weren't thrilled with the company the seller had been using so I started looking around for another oil/propane company. Frederick Brothers had great reviews so I called them and within 2 hours of setting up my account there was a delivery driver at my house filling our tank. They also gave us a military discount off of our first bill! What a great group of people! Thank you!

My husband and I bought all new appliances for our home which including upgrading to a gas stove. Fredrick Brothers came highly recommended to us by current customers. We contacted them for a quote to install a propane tank for the gas stove. They were able to come out within a week for the quote and just 2 days after the quote they actually installed the tank and gas line. They were so professional and knowledgeable. We are very pleased we picked them to be not only our propane dealers but also out oil guys too!

I bought a new home a little over a year ago and had propane being delivered by another company who owned the tanks. Without going into too much detail, it was an absolute nightmare with numerous service issues and an inability to get fuel delivered in a timely manner. I reached out to Frederick Bros, and they have been AMAZING! Super responsive customer service, excellent delivery, management, and maintenance staff, and great pricing. I am so glad that I made the switch and would highly recommend them to anyone who is fed up with their current provider.
