Had these guys out to replace a transformer initially. In so doing they found issues with a previous repair that had been completed by another company. They suggested it be fixed and wiring cleaned up. On the second trip they removed some unnecessary items, installed a new thermostat, heat pump sensor, and re-wired. It took them some time and there were some issues but got it sorted out.

They were on time. They seemed to do quality work. They were professional. If possible would give 4.5 stars due to price. But I'm fairly certain I got what I paid for. All home repair services are expensive. I understand that. Just hard to stomach that sometimes.

Columbia gas turned off our gas due to a gas leak. Called tin man and they were able to come out the next day. Aaron showed up first thing and had the issue solved and fixed within an hour. He answered all my questions and was very professional. Would highly recommend! Service: Repair HVAC

Customer service reps were very rude and disrespectful. Paid in full and work wasn't completed for a week. I was told that repairs would be completed the next day. They ordered part but I was never updated on status of delivery. When I called for status update (once daily) at one point was told "We don't order from Amazon ". I was blown away. My biggest concern was my 85 year old mother and the house was between 40-50 degrees.

Lost heat on Saturday (of course). Received call immediately from Cole, who was very helpful. Nikki was at home first thing Monday to review options and worked with office to get us scheduled asap. Mark, the installer was very knowledgeable and answered all questions and explained every step of the install. Will definitely work with this company again.

We had been waiting over three weeks for another company to respond after giving us a quote. It was very cold (mid January), and our old furnace was not keeping up. A Tin Man representative reached right out to us upon searching for someone else to help us. The estimate was done same day, and the installation of a new furnace was done the next day. We are very pleased with the results, and appreciative of the sense of urgency shown. Thanks!

Tin Man Heating and Cooling provided an excellent overall experience from the beginning to the end. Nikki, one of Tin Man's comfort advisors, made herself available on a Sunday afternoon to come to my house to do a heating needs assessment survey. After determining what my needs were, she explained everything in a very easy to understand way. I did not feel pressured at all during this consultation.

Not only did she have products in stock, she was able to get my installation scheduled for just a few days out, whereas other companies were unable to schedule for 2-3 weeks! On the day of the installation, the techs called, and subsequently arrived on time, in fact even a little early. Both Mark and Logan were extremely professional and respectful as they worked to install my new furnace.

They worked very diligently to remove the old system and had the new system replaced within a reasonable time frame. They made sure to explain my new equipment and didn't leave until they made sure it was all working properly. I would definitely encourage using Tin Man if you ever need heating or cooling installation or service.

Inexcusable experience. I pay (past tense now) the company monthly fee which includes a yearly HVAC check/tune up. Tin Man said the AC was fine but found a leak in my hot water tank and quoted my wife 10k for a replacement 75g tank. I called to confirm the quote and they said the absolute cheapest they could get one was 7k. Supply chain issues are real so I looked for one myself just to be certain.

I found one the next day in town for $1800. Called Tin Man to install it since I was paying them the preferred customer monthly fee. Tin Man said they wouldn't b/c they couldn't guarantee the work as I didn't buy it thru them. Called two other companies each said that simply isn't true so I used one of them to install. The new company came to install the water tank only to find out that it wasn't the source of the leak and I didn't need a new water tank after all.

They found the source quickly and fixed it. Finally, Tin Man never serviced the HVAC they came out to do in the 1st place - and said they did. The humidifier was still set for winter and the humidifier pad hadn't been changed in a very very long time. I sent a detailed email to the owners and they never responded so that alone speaks to their character. Draw your own conclusions from the facts.
