These people are one of the worst providers I have experienced in my life. That is saying a lot. My boiler stopped working in Feb of this year. Two guys from A&G were sent out by my insurance company. They told me there was Carbon Monoxide in the house (I have 5 detectors, ttwo in the basement, with one right above the boiler). The fact is they had a bad detector.
I actually bought another high end one just to be 100% sure- as I have kids. The high end one showed. Zero! They also told me they couldn't fix my boiler since it was an oil to gas conversion and needed a part. They took off and never came back. Oh and the receptionist. wow. leaves a lot to be desired. Shitty and hostile attitude and could not care less if your house is freezing. Zero accountability or service. I'm pretty sure my insurance company paid them for the visit.
Nice easy win for them. Total racket. You can do a whole lot better with ANY other choice. I hired another guy who came the next day and fixed the problem in 45 minutes. Still humming like a bird 6 months later. Stay away from A&G, I would not wish them on any decent person.

I have a service contract with Columbia Gas in Massachusetts. I called for an AC failure and was very concerned because this Saturday, 7/17/20 the weather forecast was calling for 90+ degrees for the following week. Fortunately, Colubia assigned A&G Gregory Heating and AC, I can't say enough about A&G Gregory - within 45 minutes of being assigned my repair I had 2 technicians at my home and one of them was the owner. They followed all the guidelines and fixed my AC within 30 minutes. I strongly recommend them and give them an A+++++

I was very disappointed in the customer service; on multiple occasions the contact person seemed bothered, rude, and not interested in my business. She lectured me (twice) because I didn't know we were supposed to schedule burner cleanings in the summer, and when she finally agreed to schedule me this month, she gave me a time window of 8:30-1pm. Okay, I asked her if I could leave my door unlocked because otherwise I'd have to take the day off from work to wait.
I even offered to leave directions to where to find the burner and make it as easy as possible for the technician. To this, she replied that no one else minds the time window and, "It would be totally fine if you want to go with another company." So that's what I did. I hardly ever write reviews, but her tone of voice and attitude was so startling, I thought a little feedback might be helpful.
Since it happened on three separate occasions, my guess is this wasn't a fluke. Life's too short for miserable interactions. So sad! I have a feeling from other reviews that the technician himself is quite skilled - if only I could get past the gatekeeper!

Every time I have any heating or air conditioning issues A & G come through! They are always professional, timely, and they don't upsell! Even this weekend I had issues with my boiler and hot water heater, A & G took care of the problem with no hassle and no outrageous unnecessary costs. They explained what they were doing and why so I understood what was happening. I'll never use anyone else! Anthony

One of my heating zones had failed in the late afternoon so I called early the next morning. They said they would be there between 9-12 and would try to get there earlier. They showed at 8:45, diagnosed the problem and would need to get a part and be back by noon. Showed at 11:45 with the part and fixed the unit. I could not have asked for better service. I chose this company because of the great reviews and that other companies in the area had none. They will be my company of choice from now on.

A&G are my new go to! After having our A/C quit in the middle of the night I left messages a few local HVAC repair places first thing this morning (Middle of two 90+ degree days). A&G called back as soon as they opened and had my A/C back up and running by noon. I can't say enough for the speed, professionalism and price they provided. We know who we'll be going with when it's finally time to replace our system. THANK YOU!

They simply don't show up. First appointment was canceled due to some emergency on their end (after I waited all day for their arrival time of between 9am - 1pm). Second appointment, after missing another day of work, they never showed up. That's another day of missed work. Today was their third scheduled appointment. We were supposed to be their first appointment of the day, first thing in the morning so I won't be wasting another day. Another no show. Three strikes and they're out. Find another company. Do not waste your time with these clowns.

I am a new client, but will become a loyal client after today. Within two hours of making the phone call I have a newly repaired furnace system. The boys were able to fit me into their schedule and made 2 repairs to my system, stopping the major leak and restoring heat to my house. The guys were speedy and very professional. They made sure the system was working and fully explained everything to me before leaving. I am very happy with the service provided today and will use them for any services needed going forward.
