Great Service. Greg came out to my house in Abington and helped repair a shower valve in a really tight space. He was early on the day of our appointment, extremely courteous and very fast. Great service and I would highly recommend to anyone on the south shore.

I had a dripping faucet from my bathroom sink. I shut off the hot valve under the sink, and the drip stopped. When I turned the valve back on, the valve itself was now leaking. The house had old plumbing so now I had a bad shut-off valve and a leaking faucet. Bought the parts myself and when I was trying to remove the old corroded valve from the pipe, the pipe broke inside the wall.

I called Gouthro around 4pm and received a call back from Greg, the owner. Greg told me he'd swing by in the evening to assess the situation and see what he may need in order to get the job done. Turns out, he was able to come up with a solution while here and had the pipe repaired in about an hour. I was not looking forward to the bill, but the bill was way less than I had expected.

I do appliance repair for a living so I know how it is to be out late. And even when I said he can schedule for a later day, he noted he's busy the next few days so opted to come this evening so I wouldn't have to wait or leave the hot water off to the bathroom sink. Greg was very personable, and it was an all around great service. I'll be calling Greg for any future service and will be recommending him to friends and family.

After spending a day and a half trying to dethaw our kitchen pipes, I called Gouthro. He called me back within 5 minutes. I called 2 other plumbers, but no call back. Granted it was busy for all other plumbers, Greg called back and was at my place within 20 minutes which I did not expect. He had the water running within a few minutes.

I hired Gouthro Plumbing to install a new water heater in my home. Their professional staff called me back quickly and came to give me an estimate with a choice of options. They installed the heater in a few hours and it's worked well since. A few months later I called them back to work on my kitchen and bathroom renovation. They completed everything quickly and even came back to adjust the pipes when they weren't quite perfect. On top of great service their prices are very reasonable. I'll call them whenever I have plumbing work to be done.
