My tech (Justin) did a thorough check of my downstairs A/C because it wasn't cooling. He diagnosed a bad capacitor and low Freon. He explained everything to us when he was finished. I was very satisfied. Service: A/C system repair

Julian and Justin were extremely professional and very respectful. They were detailed and worked until he found the issue, which was not easy to find. Daniel and Paul installed two units for me within a week and they never stopped until the job was done. They were respectful and kind young men and needles to say VERY hard workers in a hot attic. They never complained and just kept their heads done working. Mackey Mechanical is an awesome company and have the best technicians. I would recommend them for any AC work.

I've relied on Mackey Mechanical for years. They kept my ancient (>25 yrs) HVAC working for over a decade until it gave up the ghost last summer. I did have to do my due diligence for myself and had four other companies bid for the job. Mackey's price for a new unit (inside and out) was not only the best price, it was for the best unit. However, what is possibly most important is their 10 YEAR warranty on PARTS & LABOR.

No other company even came close; the next best was 5 years on parts ONLY. From the initial call to their amazing office personnel, to speaking directly with the owner multiple times, they were understanding of our predicament in August heat, and agreed with my choice to shop around. Turn around from the call to installation was three days. amazing. Today, Mike Mackey Jr. arrived on time, was very professional, calm, explained everything clearly, and was patient with my questions. (He found that rodents had gotten in my attic and chewed through some of the ducts.) Although the work to repair the ducts will occur in a few days, he spent a great deal of time correcting what he could, to make us more comfortable in the meantime. Mackey Mechanical services provide quality service for their customers. I was impressed with the repair done on Nov. 11, 2021. On April 15, 2022, I was having cooling problems again with my system. I called Mackey. The mechanic arrived early the next day (Sat.) to look at the evaporator unit. They charge $150.00 service charge for Saturday. This is for the first 30 minutes!

The an additional $75.00 for the next 30 minutes. The mechanic had the system fixed in ten minutes. The capacitor was bad. Problem solved. Let me pay the mechanic so he can get on his way. SO I THOUGHT! Then the mechanic said he was going to check the system in the attic. He went up in the attic for a few minutes just to kill time. Then he came down said the system was ok.

Then he said he was going to his truck to work on the invoice. That took him 20 minutes? He made sure he had killed enough time to charge me the extra $75.00. I'm OK with the $150.00 Service charge and charging $43.00 for the capacitor. However, the way he milked the job for the extra $75.00 is unacceptable. I will not call Mackey Mechanical again if I don't need to!

Technician arrived promptly and serviced two HVAC systems. Additionally, they inspected a damaged t-stat display and will return later to replace the display. Mackey Mechanical was very easy and seamless to work with. They have an appointment system which confirms your appoint prior via text and notifies you when your technician is in route. Mackey was able to come to our house today to help with our AC. They arrived on time and were able to quickly identify a few issues with our AC (low Freon + improperly setup control board). The tech was very professional and knowledgeable and found the route cause of our low Freon. We will work with them to fix our compressor. I would recommend their service.

One of our 2 outdoor AC units was making a huge clanking sound when I got home from work on Friday night. I went outside and the whole machine was shaking violently. One of the fan blades completely shattered to pieces and caused the whole thing to shake, and started ripping the metal around the screws holding the motor! Luckily my family and I were able to 'live upstairs' using the other unit.

We immediately called Mackey Mechanical, and they were able to send technician Josh in the a.m. Josh was punctual, arrived when he said he would, very professional and prepared. He was able to fix the job quickly and cleanly and finished with a complete analysis to make sure there were no leaks, or any other potential problems. Chris and Felix did and excellent job replacing my condenser. I had additional questions regarding some of the technical details that they helped walk me through and helped make me comfortable with the repairs. I really appreciated their patience and understanding. Both of my parents worked in the AC industry and recommended Mackey Mechanical. They did not disappoint.

It was literally 4:55 and my ac had gone out. The temp outside was 95 and it felt hotter inside. I called 3 ac companies and no one could come for at least 4 days. Greg, at Mackey was so kind and worked hard to get me some help. He was able to find Josh, at the end of his shift, to come out. Josh was courteous and professional. He found the problem (a bad motor) and had a new one ON HIS VAN!

In an hour he replaced the motor and my home was beginning to cool down. These guys are pros, they are customer focused, and they have the scale as a company to get the job done. Thanks, Mackey!

They are very thorough when checking and repairing AC systems. Had to have a repair that resulted in discovering another issue that would have caused ceiling damage. The tech and the company worked with us and corrected our issues the same day at a good price. Have used this company for years and am very pleased and would highly recommend to anyone.
