Doctor Cool provides Houston, Texas area residents with air conditioning repairs, sales, and service. We fully stock our service vans allowing us to complete most repairs in one visit. We also offer same day service to homes and businesses in the area we serve. With each Houston heating or air conditioning service appointment we send email updates with a picture and biography of the employee dispatched to you, therefore you know who is coming and when they are due to arrive.We are a NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Quality Circle AC contractor, meaning many of our technicians maintain NATE certification.

Devin was our tech today - he was AWESOME. He came out within an hour an half of calling, solved the problem and had our a/c up and running within 20 minutes on this VERY hot June day. Overcharged me by $25. Didn't return my phone calls. Had an inspection done during the option period of buying a house. (Time is of the essence.) They did the inspection Tuesday at 3pm. I still don't have the report, despite calling twice to obtain it. Stay away! EDIT: After the review I FINALLY got a call back, the $25, and the report. But, it shouldn't take a review to get the service they are supposed to provide in the first place. Additionally, if you're trying to make something right, it's probably good customer service to be polite and kind. they were not.

I called when my wife told me the AC wasn't working. They answered immediately and started to help. They came out the same day for the estimate and once I approved they had guys out within the hour to replace the unit. The owner even went to pick up the parts needed so we didn't have to go the night without AC. Everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you all from our family.

I had a great experience with Dr. Cool and Heat because of their employee Devin Nixon. His knowledge, expertise, and customer service was phenomenal. He was able to fix my a/c that day due to a bad expansion valve and came back with a new valve the following day. Devin also called the day after to make sure the HVAC system was running appropriately.
To the owner of Dr. Cool and Heat: In my opinion, Devin deserves a raise and you should never let him leave your company. I give him my highest recommendation and I will always call your company (and recommend to everyone in my community) for my HVAC needs because of how he took care of me and my family that week.

I have been a member of Dr Cool's Cool Club since I moved into my home in 2019. They perform maintenance on my a/c 2x a year. Our AC system was 16 years old. My wife and I decided to be proactive and replace the entire system before it stopped working. And we were also looking for a more efficient system. We received four (4) estimates on replacement units and decided to go with Dr. Cool and Professor Heat. Sakis M. came out and gave us the estimate for Dr. Cool. He was very professional and answered all of questions and concerns.
The estimate that he prepared was the most complete proposal that we received. Kevin J. and Matthew B. were the service technicians that removed the existing system and installed the new unit. They took the time to explain the installation process to us in layman's terms. They were very courteous and their work was preformed in a neat and professional manner.
We are very satisfied with the results. We even had two people from the Dr. Cool office come by to do a quick onsite quality check during the installation process. We were very impressed that the company took that extra step to the make sure their customers are satisfied. We highly recommend Dr. Cool & Professor Heat.

These guys are legit. Their quote came in a few hundred dollars more than their competition (Vanderford) with better equipment and a better warranty. And they actually acted like they wanted to sell me an AC by sending a tech out who knew his business. Vanderford gave me a quote by phone that wasn't even the correct size unit. I'm very happy with the final product.
