It is my pleasure to share my fantastic experience with Petr G. Peter did a wonderful job installing a new humidifier after realizing the old needed to be replaces. He was fair, honest, on time, fast, and so clean that you would never know he was in our home. He took the time after to teach us how to use and recommend different levels to use when we are home and when we are traveling. Peter is really amazing and was a pleasure to have in our home. I could not recommend anyone more highly than Peter and AA Service. All of their techs are similar to Peter our opinion. Well done!

Andy visited our home today for a furnace check. He was friendly and personable and took proper Covid precautions while in our home. He explained to us what was needed to be done to keep our furnace and humidifier working properly through the winter months. He replaced the humidifier filter as the old one was corroded. He also installed batteries in our thermostat, which I didn't know one had to do. He pointed out something that might become a problem and told us to keep an eye on it as our furnace is 14 years old. He was very thourough and professional.

AA service co has been our HVAC company for 6 years. When it came time this summer to get a new AC they did not have competitive prices so we bought one from ABT and didn't renew our yearly service with AA because we had a warranty with the new AC. Today our heat is not working so we called AA just under their emergency service line and the woman Marilyn said that since we chose not to renew with them in August they can't help us out with a time to come out today.

It's a shocking form of spitefulness. In the pass they've come out within an hour even. I wouldn't expect that as a non-program member but not to be able to give us a time by end of day under the emergency service is spiteful. There are choices though.--I wanted to share companies ABC and Four Seasons who both were able to give us times today to help us out even without being in a service program with them!

Today I had maintenance work done for my HVAC unit. Ricky was exceptional. He was very professional, had a great attitude, and was very competent. This place rules! I had another company come out (Heatmasters) because a few of our radiators were running cold even after bleeding them and the technician didn't know how our boiler worked. He called someone and ended up telling us he'd take some photos and have his boss call us but said we should look into getting a new boiler and then tried to sell us a membership plan which I declined.

I spent $89 for that. We then had AA come out on 11-11-21 and I wish I got his name but he was awesome. He came in and immediately put covers over his shoes (nice touch!) and got to work. He knew what to do right away and showed my husband how he can manually increase the boiler pressure. He bled our radiators and now we are nice and toasty with all our radiators working properly. I highly recommend this company! They have a lifetime customer in us now.

John S. was an excellent and very professional sales representative. He took time to explain options, he followed through with the order and installation and then spent an hour going over the operations of a new air conditioner and all its options. A big shout out to both Jeff and Mike who did the actual installation. The were also very professional.

Great customer service. Arnulfo serviced our AC, explained what we needed to do to ensure that it would perform well, asked if we had any questions, and seemed knowledgeable about the system. We had our AC and Furnace installed by AA about 3 years ago and have not had any issues or problems and the service of everyone there has been wonderful. They are very responsive and we use them to check our AC and furnace on an annual basis.

John was very professional and explained every detail to me in a way for me to better understand what needed to be done. The crew that did the install was prompt, professional and cleaned up everything! John later came back and set up my WiFi thermostat. Would definitely recommend. I called for a emergency service call on a Saturday night and Ricky arrived in 39 minutes. He was great! Unfortunately we still had a small problem in the morning and AA came out early Sunday morning in less than one hour. Joe showed up, another professional with a great bedside manner. I have used AA for 2 years and they are great company. I highly recommend the maintenance agreement. Thank you AA!

They have been servicing my parents' HVAC systems for years. Always reliable and they send someone out asap in an emergency. The serviceman even pointed out an issue with a water heater that was incorrectly installed by a contractor while there checking the furnace. I live far from them now, but I highly recommend them if you live in their area!

Our technician Mark R. was very timely, professional, and knowledgeable. He fixed our furnace and explained the problem thoroughly. He was also available to do the yearly maintenance for us while he was here. I'm very happy with the service we received and would recommend AA to anyone who may need HVAC services. I plan on asking for Mark to be our permanent maintenance technician.

They very good at what they do. Very courteous, helpful and clean.

We were charged over $500 for a routine maintenance call on our a/c unit and for what their tech said was a needed diagnostic for a suspected leak. It took 10-15 minutes for the tech to tell us we needed a new coil. We were suspicious, had another company assess and found out we only needed more coolant. We tried to recoup part of the $504 but AA would not comply. Very unhappy, we feel grossly cheated.

AJ Jazo was punctual, respectful, pleasant, charming, and most of all: honest and efficient. He assessed the problem, said I didn't need a new thing installed, he could drill new holes, and put in new screws. Then the old one would be just fine. He did so quickly and expertly. Hope AJ will be my permanent technician.

Excellent service from Tim B My air conditioning wasn't working and Tim quickly isolated the problems and had it working within an hour. Very hot and humid day today and Tim had to make multiple trips to the roof to fix the unit and add Freon. He was very pleasant, professional, and efficient. He wore shoe coverings, a mask a gloves. The person who scheduled my appointment was also very friendly and helpful.

My heater went out in the winter and it took them A MONTH to come out to install a $6000 unit. Now, with a brand new unit, the A/C is constantly running and doesn't cool like it should. Called the company multiple times but they are "too busy" to send someone out. I can't even schedule an appointment. After calling a few times, they told me someone would come out yesterday and no one showed up. We keep getting the run around. If you're that busy, perhaps hire more people to take care of your paying customers. Terrible customer service.

Mark R. does my "tune ups." He is absolutely wonderful. Polite, respectful, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He goes above and beyond. Mark. you ROCK! See you in the fall.

Our furnace stopped working in a cold morning in February. By the time I called AA Service it was already past 11am. The technician Mark showed up before 1pm. He followed the order of operations and quickly identified the root cause and made an immediate fix within 30 minutes after his arrival. He was very polite and also kindly explained to me how things work. The price was pretty reasonable and only the service call fee was charged because everything was done in 30 minutes. Can't be more happier with the work they did!

Their staff plays a lot of games with customers. I received a quote and maintenance check with a different service company and they quoted me a fair price with details about the furnace. It was the complete opposite of what AA Service had told me. Instead of informing me of the issues with my furnace, AA Service co had made me replace an internal item within the furnace for $1000 to $2000 within the last year.

Now I'm being told by a different company the whole thing should have been replaced. AA Service co has been dragging me along making me pay a premium for an internal item in furnace that keeps breaking down. Watch out for their call staff, they will give you the run around, cancel your appointment after you schedule a day off of work to wait on them. If you ask them not to send a personnel to your home, they will confirm so, but will send them anyway.

My technician Andy Choyinski was the nicest technician I've had with AA Service Co. Very polite, patiently answering my questions about the work he was doing and he cleaned up before he left the house

If you are taking a look at these reviews because you have a interview scheduled or you received a job offer for the sales assistant. Stay far far from this place. I was warned myself and chose to ignore it. They have a history of employee's quitting on the spot. They are completely vulgar and unprofessional. They will act nice to your face but it's all fake. They are delusional and narcissistic and will think you are the problem when its them and always will be.

DO NOT GET THE MAINTENANCE PLAN BEWARE Horrible company with very poor customer service. They cancel your appointment when I had it set for months ahead. I told them I had called off work to be there when they arrived and all they said was we have to wait like everyone else. They sell you filters and parts for 70% more then what they cost. Will never use them again. Asked to speak to a manager and his never available. They take advantage of senior citizens and don't respect people's time.

We have used AA in two homes over a course of 15+ years. AA has always been professional, honest and gone above and beyond. Andy C has helped us out of quite a few binds through the years, and I simply can't say enough about how exceptional the service he has provided us.

In my house now 20 years and, well, that is furnace-replacement time. We have three units. Replaced one last summer and the other two this past week. AA showed up exactly when they said they would, came with enough guys to complete the job in one day, cleaned up any mess they made, and have followed up since they were here. I couldn't be happier with the product or the service. I don't know it they are the cheapest out there but I can't imagine there is anyone better. Thank you, guys.

Amazing. I used AA for years and stupidly stopped and have nothing but nightmarish stories (will give names!) about everyone else we used since. My husband, Mr VeryUnhandy tried to change a lightbulb last night, created sparks, blew out several indoor and outdoor lights and decided to deal with it another time. Woke up to no furnace this bitter morning and called AA.

Their service manager face timed me (embarrassingly in my robe) down to the unlabeled fuse box and got the lights and furnace going even tho I'd flipped all the switches earlier. A genius! This old house, this old housewife and this old furnace and a/c will NEVER use anyone else again.

Best HVAC company hands down. Pleasant and efficient staff. Have been using this company for years and never have had a problem, ever! Keep up the great work!

My tenant scheduled an appointment with them because the HVAC was leaking. AA was supposed to call me to let me know what they found out but never did. I ended up calling them and I find out i needed to replace my evap coil but it was recommended to replace the whole unit. They couldn't even tell me how much either would cost from the initial diagnostic. They wanted to transfer me to sales. Not efficient at all.

Called and left a message requesting a call back to schedule a service call. 24hours later, no call. Maybe their service would be better than 1 star but since I called Chicagoland Air Duct and they responded immediately and I already have a quote, I feel like in comparison, this company gets a one star. Sorry AA, you snooze you lose.

Lance arrived on time, and called first. Performed the routine maintenance efficiently, and did not charge extra to replace a part covered by warranty.

These guys have been great to work with. A couple years ago we purchased a plan where AA Service Co will come in the summer to check your air conditioning and in the fall to check your furnace. We got behind in our annual furnace check up, and these guys still honored our deal. We were extremely happy with our AC visit initially, and our furnace visit was just as easy peasy. It's the day after Thanksgiving, and our tech, Jim G. arrived promptly at 8am to get us up to date with our annual furnace maintenance check.

Not only was he a super nice guy, but he was very honest and showed us our weakening capacitor and didn't push us to replace it on the spot when we declined. We want to check with our home warranty policy first. He let us know what's in store (any year now we are going to need a furnace replacement) and also educated us on furnace filters.

We recently purchased a really pricey filter because we did some major basement cleaning, and it's already dirty. He said as long as the cardboard is strong around the outer edge, then we can purchase the cheaper 3-pack option. Future savings.check! Jim spoke our language. Regardless, we have a happy working furnace, AA honored their commitment (even though it was over a year later), and we learned a few tips and tricks. I would recommend this family-owned company in a heartbeat. If our home warranty includes them, we will continue to give them our future business.

Service was completed quickly on an a/c unit around 9 pm on a week night a few weeks ago in the midst of a major heat wave. Their fee explanation could be much clearer, both over the phone/prior to servicing the unit, and on the receipt. We did contact the business and request an itemized receipt, provided email to have them send out receipt, but have not gotten one yet.

We are super glad to have our a/c working again, and it was really convenient to get help so late at night at such short notice, and the a/c unit is still plugging away. In the future, I'd use them again if they could provide an explanation for the fees for service and parts, instead of just giving a "lump sum" total for the service.

Though I wasn't in a rush, AA sent someone out the same day. The guy answering incoming calls was probably the most friendly and customer service oriented guy I've ever spoken to. Jim S came over within 4 hours of my call to fix my AC that had gone out. Professional and knowledgeable. I felt like the problem was in good hands. The issue I had ended up being a "Motor Run Capacitor" that went bad. Jim quickly found this, had the part on his truck, and it took about 15 minutes to replace.

The part can range between $5 - $15, so I was a little surprised with a $300 bill. At least they wave the initial $89 to come out then if they did any kind of work. I asked for a breakdown of the cost and was informed they go off of a sheet that provides a specific cost for a specific problem. A bit of researched turned up that $150-$200 would have been a lot more reasonable for this type of repair.

On another note, their membership maintenance plan does sound like a decent value, which no doubt is a means to find more repairs. Would be nice if their pricing was more transparent or explained in more detail on their website.

I had to recently replace the gas furnace at my townhouse. Scott was great in helping provide a realistic estimate. I got the appointment within a week. Jeremy helped install the furnace. Very speedy and professional. I had a lingering feeling that I was getting fleeced by Shavtiz and it got confirmed by having worked with AA. The furnace replacement costs were 60% of what Shavitz had quoted me. I am never going back to Shavitz. AA is awesome.

This organization thrives because they have the consumers best interest in mind. I called AA for a service estimate and they had a specialist out that same afternoon. There was an $89 charge but that is nothing compared to the knowledge and HVAC repair report that I received from Andy. Received a call as promised prior to his arrival, and then the flow of knowledge began.

He not only identified issues with our AC system, but also worked very quickly with his head office to find out what was under warranty and how soon the parts would be available. There was no pressure to use AA or any other company, it was geared towards what would be best for me as the homeowner. I also ended up signing up for the maintenance program after learning how a few small items could end up as costly repairs. Glad to have people like Andy in this neighborhood!
