Citywide Heating Supply And Service

We have 2 furnaces and 2 air conditioning units. And right when the weather is bouncing back and forth between cold and hot, one of each had a problem. I called Citywide Supply and Service and spoke to Mitch Moore Jr. Mitch was great and he was out the next day to look at the problems for both units. He let us know what was wrong and we scheduled the repairs for a few days later.

It rained the next day so his outside job was cancelled and he called to see if he could come over to fix our problems. Mitch and his assistant Al were soon over at our house and fixed both problems within a couple of hours. This is the second time in two years that Citywide Supply and Service really came through and helped us out in a pinch. I highly recommend Citywide Supply and Service and strongly believe you will too if you make them your go to if you make them your heating and cooling issues.

No idea what may have been going on, but despite the 24/7 guarantee on their site, no one answered at ~10pm and voicemail was full. I get the world has been upended and I hope all are OK, but doesn't take much to change a voicemail or put a sign on a door. Again, I hope all is well.

My furnace was not heating up on a thursday. Really glad it was just the furnace ignitor. They had it in stock so i was able to fix it right away. Mitch was very nice. They were the only place in jefferson park area that was a supply store and is selling parts. Home depot, lowes, menards and ace hardware only sells it online and would've taken at least 3 days to arrive.

We just purchased our new home 3 days ago, and woke up for our furnace not working. In a frenzy, I called and spoke to Mitch. Even though they didn't have any open times to come service our furnace- I was able to talk about the problem and come and pick up parts to fix it myself! Now after a $65 part- We have heat! We are beyond great full for the service provided, education and knowledge provided!

Great, convenient service! I was in need of an inducer motor for a Carrier furnace. After not having any luck with the local suburban shops near my home, I found Citywide through an internet search. I called the phone number provided, but reached their voicemail. Thinking that the store was possibly closed for the day, I didn't leave a voicemail. I was pleasantly surprised a few minutes later when I received a text message from Citywide stating that they were sorry for missing my phone call.

I was able to send the inducer motor part number to them through a text and they quickly replied that they had the motor in stock. The price Citywide was asking for the motor was very reasonable! It was the same price that I had found on two of the major online HVAC supply websites, and $100 - $300 cheaper than some of the suburban HVAC supply stores. Plus, it was available same day and I didn't have to pay for shipping.

It's neat how they converted an old bar into their HVAC supply store. My son and I were even offered a cold soda when we went to pick the part up. It's great knowing they are available 24 hours a day as well! I highly recommend Citywide Supply and Service and will be sharing my experience with all of my family and friends. Thank you!

Needed to repair my walk in cooler, had a great experience with them the first time not to much the second time. The individual assigned to the job kept making excuses to work around the problem made my business wait 4 days just to give me an answer. Not professional at all was very upset with the way things were handled. Called a competitor and he fixed it in two hours. Lol

Excellent service! I've been working with Citywide Supply for almost two years since I moved to the neighborhood. This is a family-owned and operated business that has been around forever, so they seem to know what they are doing, at least in my experience. Mitch Jr and his father are always prompt to respond and available to solve issues asap. They are very friendly and professional.

I met them during the pike of the pandemic in Chicago and they took safety measures seriously, to assist me diligently. They are always a phone call away and willing to come to solve my problems no matter the time or their super busy schedule. They have assisted me several times due to an AC system that was in the house already and wasn't working properly until they took the lead.

I am very happy with the service and price. Connor performed maintenance on a wall heater and repair on my central unit. We were experiencing a gas leak in our furnace. Connor was responsive and diligent about finding the cause of the leak. He took his time to check the whole furnace and to determine the best course of action. He showed me the leak and explained to me the best course of action. He took his time to explain possible other services that we may need to address down the road.

This place is clean, organized and the employees well versed in their products. I am grateful to have found it, and will be a return customer.

SAVED THE NIGHT! My mothers HVAC system failed at 9pm due to a bad inducer motor. I thought I was out of luck being how late it was but I found Citywide online and thought Id give them a try. surprisingly they answered, stocked the part and I was able to pick it up within 20 minutes. I swapped out the inducer motor and the heat was back! Thanks Citywide!

The moment I contacted Citywide Supply and Service for the first time, I received timely, professional service. I can't say enough good things about Connor and his work. On 2 occasions now he's come out to help diagnose and fix the issue at hand quickly, and even outside of typical business hours to help accommodate my work schedule. He does a great job of explaining what's going on as well as how he's going to remedy things. Having someone to call who you feel is trustworthy AND knowledgeable is priceless. I know who I will be calling for any and all HVAC concerns moving forward!

Connor came out pretty quick as I called for service. Give me some advice to keep the unit and good condition. Definitely call them again in future for the excellent service.

Our ac capacitor went out this morning and we needed to replace it. Everything in our area was closed until tomorrow, when I noticed that Citywide was opened today and called, they were closing within the hour. Mitch was nice enough to pull the part and wait on me to get there. My family and I are very appreciative and the unit is back on and working. Thank you so much! You don't find places like this anymore. Will recommend to friends and family for sure. It was worth our hour drive.

Mitch and his crew are a great group for your HVAC needs. They care about their neighbors and strive/achieve to do good work. Most recently, Mitch was able to come over to our house quickly to look at our upstairs unit and vents since we live nearby. It is operating better than it has in a while. Conor came out to assist with fixing my A/C unit. He was very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to successfully diagnose the issue and promptly replaced the failed parts. Conor was very professional and would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Citywide Supply and Service saved the day for us. We called them on Christmas Eve around noon and they were out at our house a half hour later. Mitch the owner came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time at all. Mitch was so nice and understanding about what we needed done and the time crunch we were in since it was the afternoon on Christmas Eve. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

My furnace started making a noise Sunday morning, Mitch was out to look at it within an hour. Unfortunately, Mitch told me what I was afraid of, I had a cracked heat exchanger and I needed a new furnace. Mitch quoted me prices for two different furnaces, and explained the differences between the two. He said he could be back the next day to replace it, and that it would take less than the whole day to do it. Mitch showed up at 9am Monday morning with a new furnace.

He was nice enough to strip the parts off the old one since I have an identical furnace for my tenant's unit. Mitch and Mark had the old furnace out and the new one installed by 1pm, they fabricated a little bit of duct work since the new furnace was shorter, and even made a cover for the air filter slot.
