I got a quote to replace my humidifier with an Aprilare model 700M. I called the technician and asked if he could install a 700A which is automatic, He said he would do it for the price that he quoted. The 700 series has an internal fan. After he did the installation, the technician showed me what he did. He installed a cheaper and less efficient cross-flow unit, the Aprilaire 600A.
He offered me 80 dollars off so I took it to get him to leave but I am annoyed. I did not get what I want, and I think I overpaid in the end because he replaced an old unit with a similar one instead of installing a new one that would mount on a different duct. I was pleased that they helped me with problems with a furnace that they installed last winter. I am not pleased about the humidifier.

We had moved into our current home literally at the start of the pandemic. The previous owner(s) had done some makeshift fixes to the furnace. We found that we had to replace the furnace. Shamrock's team recommended a furnace size appropriate for our home (didn't just try to recommend the largest/most exp one). They came and installed it without any trouble. The techs were very friendly and professional, and were very mindful of wearing masks and distancing considering it was early in the pandemic.

Chris came out and let me know my old furnace was on its last leg. He didn't pressure me into a new system, and gave me the option of repair or replacement. The price for replacement was fair and not gouged even though it was the dead of winter and I had no heat. The very next day, I had a new furnace installed in a matter of hours. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHAMROCK. YOU GUYS RULE!

Jared, Luke, and Rob installed a furnace, and ac unit. They were very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. They did a great job! Chris Morgan gave the best bid, with the best equipment. He set up a system that will work for a long time. I am very happy and pleased with Shamrock Heating and Cooling.

Have used Shamrock for installation and VIP service for my heating and air conditioning needs. System performs beautifully and had Jonathan service tech to come and check on system twice a year and they also have option for inspecting your plumbing as part of the VIP service which is reasonably priced. Highly recommend! They have top rating for customer service.

We received two quotes for a new AC system about 7 months ago. Call the other guys and they said their prices went up and that they would call me back. Needless to say, they never did which was clearly meant to be. My wife call Shamrock and we discussed the detail of our quote and they said they have it all in their system still. We told them which option we wanted and they scheduled us 5 days later Received a call indicating thy they were running a little late (30 minutes). Great!
They arrived and installed the complete system in a few hours. They didn't need anything from during the install process. It all went seamless with no issues and they were easy to speak to. They installed a complete heating and cooling system in our last house and we had the exact same experience. It's so hard to find a company who is responsive, knowledgeable, and honest! I've worked with Chris a few times and he has explained everything clearly and came up with affordable solutions. I had a furnace go out and he had a new one at my house asap! His field guy, Rob, was great too! Very courteous and was very good about cleaning up! I will recommend this company to anyone!

We have used Shamrock for 26 years. When we needed to replace our furnace/air conditioner that is who we used. Whenever we had problems with the old unit especially in the winter they'd be out that day. I highly recommend Shamrock! Great company and all their employees and technicians are very friendly and respectful.

Avoid. DO NOT use them if you have a Trane air filter- or anything other than a traditional mechanical air filter. In fact don't use them at all. And don't fall for the "discount club"-a total waste of money. For many years my parents used Shamrock for their annual HVAC maintenance. They have a Trane air filter- one of the most expensive. It's an electronic air filter, not a traditional mechanical filter.
The filters are supposed to be routinely cleaned- not replaced- and other components need annual professional cleaning. Shamrock had NO IDEA what they were doing with this filter. Because they failed to clean it properly for years it now has to be replaced. Several components need replacing- almost the cost of replacing it entirely. They would literally take out the pre-filter, vacuum it, and put it back- that's it.
For ten years- that is NOT the professional way or the best way to clean this. Which explains the very poor air quality in their house. I cleaned it (per the owner manual) better than they did. When fault codes indicated components needed replacing I called Trane and got the names of services actually trained to clean and maintain this filter. A new (reputable) service took one look at the filthy components from years of neglect and were shocked. They have NO BUSINESS working on these or cleaning these filters. Call the manufacturer of your air filter and make sure they are specially trained to clean and maintain it.

Recently purchased entire furnace and AC system from Shamrock. Estimate was explained well and installation went smoothly. Later a manufacturer defect turned up in AC unit. Bob and his team corrected the problem promptly and professionally. I can highly recommend this company that stands by it's products.

This company is the worst! They are a scam! I got one of their flyers for $99.95 full checkup and full cleaning on your a/c and heating units; there was a list of several things on the flyer that they said they would service on and the guy that came out maybe did 4-5 of the things on the list (list had maybe 15-20). If I could give a 0 stars I would!

I have used Shamrock for years and have always received great service. Last week, while talking on the phone with my aunt, she mentioned her air conditioner had stopped working. She call an area HAC company, paid for a service call, and was told her older air conditioner really couldn't be repaired because the part is not available, it's hard to get the part, and she should replace the furnace and air conditioner. It's hot and humid outside and she's without air!
I told her about my positive experience with Shamrock and I'm not an easy customer! My aunt called me this morning to say she called Shamrock, they sent Todd to check it out and. Todd was able to do the repair and the house temperature is nice and cool. She thanked me for looking out for her. I've probably moved up to favorite niece status.

My furnace stopped working on a friday night and I waited until the morning to call to have someone come out. When I called for service Bob greeted me and explained they could have someone out within two hours(on a Saturday), and explained pricing to me. I would have just been happy to have someone come out at any time on a Saturday. He had his technician there in an hour! Technician was polite and professional and able to diagnose and explain repairs in 30 mins and had my heat working with a new circuit board within 90 mins. Couldn't have been happier, fairly priced and with service like theirs; even if they charged more than a fair price (which they didn't) it still would have been worth it with the great service they did and making my day easier during an unexpected situation.

My furnace stopped working last night, when it was approximately 2 degrees outside. I called FIVE places that offered 24 hour, emergency service. Two never called back, one said I lived too far away and one said he would come for $250 cash. That seemed a little shady. The last place I called was Shamrock Heating and AC and they were outstanding! The tech, Todd, didn't get to my house until close to 11pm.
He fixed the blown fuse in the furnace and showed me where it was.just in case. He also took the time to clean up the wiring in both the furnace and thermostat, in hopes that that was where the short was that caused the fuse to trip. A reminder, it was LATE and he still took the time, when just replacing the fuse fixed my immediate issue. Just awesome service and I will always use them in the future!

Shamrock visited my home today for routine maintenance on my furnace before the winter hits(remember the polar vortex?!?!) The technician showed up on time and in a well-groomed, clean appearance. He explained to me what he would be doing today and answered the couple questions I had in a simple, yet non-condescending manner and then immediately got to work.
In all, he was there for an hour and 10 minutes and the final bill met the estimate even tho he was there a little longer than quoted. I highly recommend Shamrock. Their service made me feel confident that the job was completed beyond my expectations and that I won't have anything to worry about this winter.

Always had a pleasant experience with these guys. But then again they were only doing an annual check up. Last visit out the guy recommended I replace the contactor on the AC. Charge was going to be six or eight hundred bucks. Maybe that's not outrageous unless you know a contactor costs $9. I got the part from a shop and installed it myself, it's like a light switch, wires in and out. Ridiculous.
Because of this attempt at a rip off I decided to inspect the guys work. He was supposed to clean the AC and check it out. I popped off the cover and it was loaded with leaves and dirt! I took pictures and called the manager immediately. His response? He won't send that tech out to my property again. Didn't even offer to send someone out to do the job correctly. Again, RIDICULOUS. I'm done with them.

BEWARE. Bought a house where previous owner purchased new total hvac system with extended plan from Shamrock. Called them because the thermostat was wired WRONG, (when you tried to run the fan only, it wouldn't run, but the AC compressor outside would). Had all paperwork that it was their work, and still warranted. THEY WOULD NOT COME FIX IT without charging me.
What kind of company would not move 2 wires to win over a customer?! I live 1 mile from them. Un-freakin believable. I would NEVER use them. Later heard other stories about them - 4 out of 5 were bad.
