Years ago, after constantly dealing with oil companies who lacked competitive pricing and customer service, I had called Trinks on a recommendation from a friend who said they're constantly the most competitive priced oil in the Greater Hartford Area. Honestly, that was the best call I've ever made. Trinks totally has their act together in all regards.

This company is the best and will never go anywhere else. Very caring to their customers called on Friday before a winter storm would come in on Monday for a delivery and unexpeditely they showed up on Sunday to deliver (thought I was dreaming). Also all of the staff are so friendly. Keep up the good work!

We were quoted over the for 2$ a gallon and they charged us $2.05. The lady who answered the phone just said okay don't use us any more. They are crooks and lie about prices then charge you.5 cent more witch adds up at 128gallons. I would not recommend using them. Watch out for them lieing in there quotes over the phone. Next time I guess I have to verified wit the driver for the right price or turn them away

I got a delivery last week and I asked for a quote over the phone. I asked twice if there were any additional fees or any other costs that would relate to the final cost of their services. I look at the bill and they charge an additional fee that's due a week after the delivery they had just made. Randomly get an $80 bill and overdraw my account. I would not have an issue paying the $80 dollars if they would have told me upfront.
Not a good start for them as I just bought a house and was looking for a supplier for the winter. I will try some other company instead. UPDATE: No, I asked over the phone three times for the final price of oil being delivered to my home. Suddenly after delivery I get an $80 charge that's billed within a week. If I was given the proper initial quote why are you billing me $80 after the initial payment. Go buy oil elsewhere.

To say I'm disappointed by our latest interaction with Trinks is an understatement. My wife and I have been a faithful customer of Trinks for the last 8+ years. We have bought a new furnace and hot water heater from them (Energy Unlimited.) I have recommended many of my customers to go with Trinks because how well they treated us but my last call in was a huge disappointment.
I understand it is our responsibility to monitor our oil tank but with the chaos of the holiday's going on I just noticed we are going to be out of oil very soon. I called Trinks, gave them my account number and asked if oil could be delivered today. Keep in mind, they were out delivering oil already in the early morning. To which I was told it would be $100 service fee to do so. What?
I live 2.2 miles away and your trucks are out already? No! I was very disappointed and clearly loyalty to a business in which we have spent $1000's is not a value to them. It's unfortunate but we will look for a new company to do business with.

Ive been very happy with Trink's Brothers. I was knew to oil heat and had no idea how much prices could vary between providers. Every time I've needed oil, I've called up 5-6 different oil companies and Trink's Brothers has always been the best priced by quite a bit. You might be worried that the cheap price might come at the expense of customer service, but they have always been great to deal with. Definitely recommend them.
