Imperial Oil & Plumbing

Poor customer service. Imperial Oil came out to quote exemding my gas line but never provided a written quote and did not respond to emails or phone calls.

Always professional, super knowledgeable and care for their customers. They have amazing customer service and the employees are so kind and everyone is local!

A neighbor had warned me about this company but I ignored them because they were local and also a neighbor. I paid over $400/yr for their maintenance service but they never showed up unless I called to remind them. They sent over men to clean the tank who asked about the security system and cameras in my home and then, despite my contract indicating that they would check the levels and fill the tanks accordingly, they did not fill the tank for well over a year causing it to empty so that we had no means of drying clothes or cooking during the pandemic.

When they finally filled the tank, they tripled the rental fee and would not provide a written explanation. Don't do what I did and make sure you heed my neighbor's warning and pick another company for all your heating and plumbing needs!

I discovered a leaky electric hot water tank on a snowy Friday morning, called for help, and by noon the same day Eddy and Leon had delivered a new tank, disconnected the old one and replaced it, and we had hot water again. I've been a customer since 1979, and have always been pleased by the service and attentiveness we have received. Great experience!

Extremely prompt service. When we had a major problem they were at our house in 15 minutes. We have used them for many years and we are highly satisfied Services: Plumbing pipe repair, Heating system repair, Faucet repair, Plumbing leak detection, Water heater repair, Toilet repair, Garbage disposal installation

They were exactly what I was looking for. Arrived on time, did a great install quickly, and left the place clean and neat, after a very professional water heater installation. Crew was very helpful explaining everything. I asked them to look at my daughter's shower to see if they can fix a faucet, and they did it for no extra charge explaining that they still have time allocated! Hot water is back! Thank you.

I had Imperial Oil for many years in my previous house with no issue so when we moved and I had a plumbing issue they were on the top of my list. I explained the situation, what was broken and they came out for 2 1/2 minutes to tell me they couldn't fix it. and charged me $150 for it. When I called they offered to reduce it to $65 which I do not accept. I was hoping it was a one off but Imperial has lost my trust, and business.

We first were introduced to Imperial Oil Co about 40 years ago when they were the company used by our home builder in South Windsor to install furnace, central air etc. in our newly built home there. For about 25 years thereafter we were customers of Imperial for oil delivery and general plumbing needs. Ed Havens, Mike and all the crew were always friendly, responsive and professional.

We would never have thought to go elsewhere. About 15 years ago we built our current home in Bloomfield and since the heating is done by gas we no longer required oil delivery. Thankfully, the Imperial crew still services us for general plumbing needs and while the frequency of interaction is a lot less, they remain responsive and always friendly and professional. They are one of the most ethical, reasonable and responsive companies I have ever done business with and would highly recommend them.

The team at Imperial is very professional and did a great job with my furnace install. Out of the places I quoted, Imperial had the most reasonable pricing and the install was completed in a timely manner with quality components. I am very happy with how things turned out, and when they were done, they cleaned up nicely leaving no trace that work was going on in the area that day. I will definitely recommend Imperial in the future to anyone that asks.

Words merely cannot express the gratitude my family and I have for Imperial Oil in South Windsor. The owner maintains a level of integrity, ethics, honesty, and loyalty second to none. It shows in the enthusiasm and loyalty the employees provide in their work and their extremely high level of customer service. We are always impressed with every aspect of their work, customer service, customer satisfaction.

The owner himself showing up to address a significant problem we had at our home on weekend less then twenty minutes after calling, speaks volumes to me and for this very reason I will never go anywhere else and sleep comfortably knowing that I can rely on them anytime of the day or night. As an added bonus, my wife let me know that Imperial Oil sponsor's and provides the Easter Eggs for the annual Easter Egg hunt here in South Windsor that our children attend every year. Imperial Oil has always and continues to be great to work with. They have a complete family atmosphere, always are courteous to answer any questions, and are quick to respond in a time to need. There has never been a time since being a customer to shop around for anyone else because of their commitment to customer service. I would highly recommend using Imperial Oil for whatever need necessary.

The guys at Imperial are great. I've been a customer for 6+ years for oil delivery. Last year they set me up with a propane tank for my gas fireplace and I couldn't be happier. Also, we're planning a bathroom renovation this summer and I'll use Imperial for all the plumbing work. Thanks for being such a great company!
