Hinton Refrigeration Company was founded in Oklahoma City in 1952 by Argus Hinton. He focused on providing quality grocery store refrigeration installation and service in the Oklahoma City Metro while maintaining integrity and treating customers as part of the family. Over more than 60 years, the company has grown and become industry experts in refrigeration installation and maintenance, commercial HVAC installation and service, and residential installation and service while upholding the high quality, integrity and customer service that Mr. Hinton originally instilled in the company.
Replace the indoor unit's air filter monthly: Old/Dirty filters cause equipment to work harder, resulting in energy waste and possible internal damage. If you have a reusable/washable filter, make sure that it has completely dried prior to reinstalling. Inspect the blower compartment of your furnace or blower coil: Use a vacuum to remove any dirt or dust, which can result in improper performance and low efficiency.
On your outdoor condensing unit: Disconnect power to unit, using garden hose to clean condenser coil with mild pressure not to damage or bend the aluminum fins. It is best to wash from the inside spraying the water to the outside, but some units that is very difficult to do and should be left to our qualified technicians.

We had copper thieves steal the the copper lines off the side of our building for sanctuary air conditioning. Hinton sent Cole and his apprentice who were absolutely amazing. The professionalism and knowledge was appreciated. How clean and professional a job he did installing everything shows how much he cares about doing the job right the first time. Can't go wrong using Hinton, you get what you pay for.

We returned from NYC and it was 98 outside and almost as hot inside. Within an hour of our call, Hinton dispatched Alvin to rescue us. After a thorough examination to ensure all possible factors were considered, Alvin cleaned, repaired, and recharged our a/c unit, keeping us informed at every step. We are DELIGHTED!

I rarely write reviews but this company far exceeded my expectations. I'm on OG&E smart hours so when my A/C kicked on at 7pm last night and started blowing hot air I thought I was in trouble. I remembered working with Hinton Refrigeration at work and took a chance and contacted them. Five minutes later a tech called me and 20 minutes later Alvin, the Hinton HVAC tech was at my door.
Two minutes later he diagnosed a faulty condensor blower motor. It's now past 8pm and no way he can get the part until the next day. No worries, Alvin said he would order the part first thing in the morning and even though he had a full day of work orders scheduled, would find time to get it installed. Sure enough, it's 5:30pm and Alvin is installing the motor. By 6pm he was finished and I have ice cold A/C cooling down my house. That's what I call service above and beyond. I just wish I could give them 6 stars! Thank You Alvin!

Just called Hinton to have work done on a heater and I was informed "we don't do work at apartments". The BIG problem with that statement is the fact that not too long ago I worked at a different complex and used Hinton at least once a month for heat and air? BAD BUSINESS either don't do work at apartments AT ALL or do it, don't pick and choose.
