I have used Sentry for HVAC maintenance for 10 years with good results, so when one of my units needed to be replaced, I chose Sentry to install a new Carrier unit. I was most impressed. The install team arrived at my home at 7:30 a.m. and worked until 5:30 p.m. Joseph, Jamie and Alex were very professional. They were careful to wear shoe coverings when inside and cleaned up before they left.

It was raining, so they put up a tent for the outside work. They were so quiet, I hardly knew they were in my home. They went over everything they did with me before they left. It was a great experience. As anticipated, my upstairs unit needed to be replaced 3 months after Sentry did a great job replacing the downstairs unit. This time it was Sentry team Ben (sales), Jamie (installer from March install) and Jordan T (installer) to the rescue. Jamie and JT did an outstanding job in extreme attic heat. As before, they were polite and professional. Great experience. I hope to be cool in the summer and warm in the winter for many years to come. Thank you, Sentry.

My main level HVAC gave out in the middle of June! My mother lives with us and has COPD, so the added heat and humidity were an added pressure on her breathing. Since Sentry had installed our second level HVAC several years ago, I knew I could call them and get excellent service. They came the next day and started work the following day. Kenneth Wells explained that I could add an air purifier that would help my mom's breathing on a daily basis.

Great News! Thanks Kenneth. The two technicians, Jamie and Jordan H.,W ere both very friendly and professional. They worked really hard to get the job done before the end of day. They were life savers! I will definitely recommend Sentry services to others, as well as continue to use myself!

Been using Sentry for 15 years and very pleased with their service. Recently had new air units installed, Jamie and JT were the installers. Absolutely two of the hardest working installers I've seen. They were polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to any question or concerns I had. I never felt uncomfortable asking either of them a question, very customer conscience. They also were careful not to damage our home, took necessary precautions to protect our carpets and such. Really nice guys, welcome in our home any time.

Our experience with Sentry Heating was excellent. From the start Tom diagnosed our system and recommended replacement. Ben McCoy provided information on system options, installation and financing. Jamie, Alex, and Dontae arrived the next day to install a new upstairs HVAC Ecobee Carrier system. The techs did a thorough, professional job and we are enjoying cool air again. Alex and Jamie with Sentry replaced our HVAC System and water heater today with a new Carrier Infinity HVAC, I-Wave R, thermostat, and an American water heater. They were very efficient and courteous throughout the installations, and used Sentry from their ads and close vicinity to our location. We were very pleased with our older Carrier system, and decided to continue with that brand.

We also replaced the old American water heater with the same brand. During the pre-purchase discussion with Sentry (Ben), we were pleased with the options offered, as well as the fine installations of the HVAC and water heater. If ever needed in the future, we would use Sentry again for their services.

Recent storms damaged the unit on our roof. Sentry was prompt in getting a service representative out to evaluate the damage, and it was determined that it could not be repaired. The new unit was installed within a reasonable time, and the crew, including Jamie and Alex, were very professional. Technician went all out to find part due to a manufacturer defect. Explained all my options and part supplier worked with Sentry in swapping defective part for new one. I paid repair charge and part supplier handled recovery their cost. Win for me and Sentry. Credit to Sentry tech going all out! Tech explained what I should do to recover repair charge from manufacturer.

I recently had 2 new HVAC systems installed in my home - upstairs & downstairs. My first point of contact was Kenneth Wells. He explained several cost saving options for my specific needs. He was also very patient in answering all questions which helped make my decision easier. The installation was handled by Alex, Jamie, Jordan & David. All men were very professional, courteous & took extra care when working in my home. Honestly, I was actually dreading the installation process but these men couldn't have made it any smoother. I will definitely call Sentry on any HVAC need that I have in the future!

I had trouble attempting to repair a leak in a toilet. One problem led to another, so after several unsuccessful attempts I finally called for a plumber. Since Sentry has services my A/C and heating, and they have a plumbing unit, I called Sentry. A plumber came to my home, examined the situation, and he gave me a price to fix the problem. Though pricey, I agreed.

After about 90 minutes the plumber told me "bad news." Since the time was after 5:00pm the plumber said his supply stores are closed. Then, if he comes back the next day there would be an addition service charges plus parts. I said, "no." The plumber sent me a picture of a gasket and its dimensions. That's all he did. The next morning I called the Sentry office reporting to them that I am dissatisfied with their service because my toilet problem was not repaired by the Sentry plumber.

The person with whom I talked with argued with me saying that they do not warrant equipment provided by the customer. This was a diversion and did not address my problem - the problem I asked Sentry to fix. This situation now ends my multi-year relationship with Sentry. Caveat Emptor.

We had an HVAC system installed in March 2021 that started giving us problems just a few months later in May. The original installer could not diagnose the problem. We finally called Sentry and they arrived the same day and Silas was able to diagnose and fix the problem in a matter of hours. We will be calling Sentry for all of our HVAC needs in the future.

I have been a customer since 2015. During that time Sentry installed my 20 kw Generator, have maintained my Generator, removed my old 75 gallon water heater, installed a new water heater, replaced and repaired a break in my sewer line, and replaced a 100 year old faucet that was very difficult to remove. Wes ( plumbing), and Brett ( Generator) are outstanding professionals, who always leave the work area immaculate upon completion.

They are professional, knowledgeable, polite, timely, accessible in an emergency, and perform exemplary work. In short, Sentry provides outstanding service, for a fair price, stands by their work and warranties, always leaving their customer fully satisfied.

Choose this company if you want a dishonest crew/company. They destroyed sprinkler lines and didn't tell us about it until we tried to use the sprinkler. The owner was also verbally abusive when we called to tell him about the mistakes his company made. KEEP SCROLLING TO THE MORE HONEST COMPANIES.

The technician who came to tune up our AC units for the upcoming season was very professional and did a great job. He pointed out issues that needed to be addressed, and the pricing for them. We did not do everything that was suggested, but we did have him come back and acid wash the outside units to have better air flow. Since we have American Home Shield warranty, we called them to come and fix the freon leak that the technician found. We have been pleased with the seasonal tune-ups from Sentry.

Give this company two thumbs down! Called them out for a clogged drain line, was told repeatedly that they could not find the problem--then they decided it was the coil and we needed a new AC. They replaced the AC and we still had the same issue as when we originally called them out--clogged drain line. Do not think we truly needed a new AC. Owner was rude. Customer service was poor.

Worst customer experience ever and the rudest company I have ever dealt with and I own various properties and have had all type of work done on them. And I believe they will overcharge you in a heartbeat. If you need any work done on your honest I would recommend you stay as far away from this company as possible. Then when I wanted to get a second opinion on the work Sentry had a representative call me to say I owed them money and she had the recorded conversation to prove it but she couldn't play the audio so that may be a lie.

She was very rude and then hung up right in my face. I left a complaint on their fb page but off course they did not contact me back. I told this to one of my co-workers and he told me he had personal knowledge that the company Sentry was RACIST from a previous he dealing he had with him. I do not support a company I feel is very rude and I pray in 2018 that a company like this is not still RACIST! I will keep you updated when hopefully they finally contact me back.

Sentry is not a company you want to do business with. I got an AC and Furnace replaced by them and during the course of replacing the furnace in my attic they caused a water drain line to leak down into my son's bedroom. He was gone to college and it created mold and mildew in the corner of the bedroom. I climbed into the attic myself and saw where they caused the damage.

They sent someone out to check it. Of course it was probably one of the guys who caused the damage and they said it wasn't their fault. Imagine that. They should have sent a manager out to check behind their employees. So, I finally decided to let that go. Nobody's perfect, right? Fast forward a year later, and it is time for one of my prepaid inspections of my unit.

They come out inspect it and everything is fine. One day later, the air conditioner that is now 2 years old, and cost me $8,000 has now stopped working. They come back out and said because I have a warranty it is only going to cost me $175 to repair a part on the unit. That was the final straw for me. I told them to leave. I called another company that came out and only charged $60 to repair the part for me without a warranty. If you like paying top of the line money for subpar service then, by all means use this company.

So they never showed up.(despite saying I was the first appointment in the time frame.and then the next appointment.and then the next appointment). When I finally heard from someone, it was 9:45 PM saying he wouldn't make it today (duh!),a nd they were confused why I was angry. How about being honest earlier in the day when I made and checked in on the appointment?

You see how you feel when you have a shower pouring hot water, and the worst customer service Ithat have experienced in the home improvement/repair industry. Very angry and very disappointed. However, called Roto-Rooter the next day and they were friendly, helpful, affordable, and ON-TIME. I will be leaving a positive review for them.

My wife called them on a Sunday to come out and fix our HVAC system. I was out of the country at the time and had no way taking care of the situation. The technician came to the house and after about about 20 min and $159 diagnostic fee told her it was the capacitor on the outside compressor. This capacitor he told her was a very special capacitor so he charged her an additional $360 to replace it.

He showed her this in a "price book". Actually it was a very common capacitor which retails for about $40 plus tax. So in about one hour he had charged $520 to replace a $40 capacitor. I understand that they need to make a profit but these people are con-artist. They use this price book to divert any priceing arguements. DO NOT USE THEM!

You know what sucks? Is when you walk outside and are suddenly hit with a massive humid heat index of 105*. You know what sucks even more? When the inside of your house has a heat index of 105*. Yup. My AC was sick. It needed a doctor STAT! I called on Thursday after two days of suffering and decided I couldn't take it anymore. I called up Sentry.because their sticker was on the AC. and I was given two options.

I could have someone come in the evening on overtime or I could wait until the next day and someone would be here before 12. I chose the next day, but then called back and changed it to the same day, because I was D-Y-I-N-G. Sooner rather than later, I get a call from someone saying they are on their way to my house to save the day. Then Perry shows up. Perry is a lifesaver.

The poor guy was drenched in sweat by the time he was finished. Turns out the AC had a wretched air filter (my fault) and had frozen over. He turned the AC off and ran the fan and said that after 3 hours to turn it back on and see what happens. I cut him a check for $159 and he was on his way home.probably to take a shower. A couple of hours later he even called to tell me it was probably ok to turn it back on.

The temp inside my house gradually went down and was back to normal.until the next day. I noticed it started creeping back up. BUT I was leaving for Florida so I decided it would have to wait. Monday morning bright and early I called Perry on his work number and told him the bad news. He told me to turn it off and run the fan, and that he would be over in due time.

A few hours later he was at my door. He found nothing wrong with the AC itself, just that the power was not running up to par. He said that Alabama Power had been doing some work and was causing some power surges which might have interfered with the power supply, so he reset the AC internally and boom it started working. Here it is the next day and I am not dead. Perry, you are an AC god. Screw you Alabama Power. I hate you.
