Guin Service

Our AC went out and we were struggling with 80+ degree heat overnight during this week of constant heat advisories. Todd came out without delay, fixed our AC after we were quoted $10-20K for replacement after a prior company told us the AC was damaged beyond repair. The cost was minimal and we are now in a cool house again! Will definitely keep Guin and Todd in mind for future utility needs.

I love Guin! I moved into my house in 2018, and after ditching out awful "Home Warranty" company, we finally hired some real professionals to fix our constantly breaking down AC system. Guin managed to fix it promptly, and we haven't had any issues since! They also helped us install some bathroom vent fans, which work great. Later, when we had some plumbing leak issues, their plumbers helped us with that too. Anyway, I highly recommend Guin! I only wish they did electrical, too!

Guin has always provided the best service to us. We began our relationship with them several years ago getting a second opinion on a furnace repair. They saved us about six thousand dollars because they traced a serial number and discovered the unit had a twenty year warranty and had been installed 19 years ago. We appreciate their attention to details and use all their repair and maintenance services.

I have been using Guin for years and always had good service from them. Almost 20 years as a homeowner and only found them after several other companies tried to sell me on stuff I didn't need. Pushy sales tactics made me doubt other folks and i Found Guin while seeking a second opinion. I swapped to them a decade ago and have always had great work at reasonable prices.

I'm sure there are cheaper folks to do seasonal service but every other one I tried always tried to sell me on stuff I didn't need. Guin has honest technicians that will take the time to explain any benefits and downsides to the services they recommend. It is such a comfort as a homeowner to have a company to trust whom you know isn't trying to rip you off.

The service at Guin was absolutely fantastic. The day they came was my only off day for that week and they were able to get it done at that time and I did not have to go another cold night without heat. We swapped companies and are so happy we did! Receptionist very nice, friendly, and accommodating to my schedule! Richard was very nice as well! Knowledgeable, very good at understanding "my" terms re: problem! Gives options and not "pushy" on what's best for the company, but asks what is better for me! Would definitely recommend!

Guin was amazing! They are very responsive and were able to fit me in quickly with a water leak of my hot water heater. Tim was on time, communicative and very helpful! He was able to get me a replacement on my hot water heater next day and installed it and fixed several other things that were incorrect with the previous install. He went over everything with me at the end to make sure I understand how to work everything. I can not recommend enough. Their five star rating is the real deal.

Had a leaking pipe inside our home. Guin was able to schedule service in a timely manner. The administrative staff were courtesy and helpful. Our repair tech, Jason, was on time, quickly identified source of leak and completed repair. He was polite and knowledgeable. Extremely satisfied with the experience with Guin.

Jason was very knowledgeable in diagnosing my plumbing problem. He used excellent critical thinking and methodically got to the root of the problem. His interactions with me were professional as he explained what needed to be done to solve the issue.

Dewayne was personable and professional from my first phone call when my water heater began leaking. He walked me through turning it off and came to remove and install a new one very promptly. He was neat with his work and thoroughly explained the features of the new water heater. A seamless process. Could not recommend him or Guin Services more!

The guys came out on an already over-booked schedule to clean my sewer line because they heard i had kids and couldn't use my water until the sewer line was unclogged. They were incredibly nice and very quick. Cannot say enough good things about Guin and Richard was amazing. Service: Cleaning

Oh my gosh, I called Guin at 4:30 because my toilet started leaking and Chris McLeod was here at 5:15! Y'all! That's amazing response! I did not get charged a premium for after 5:00 service and they fixed my problem in about 20 minutes. I will never, ever use another company again! I'm a Guin client for life!

I could not have had better, more prompt, or more professional service. I had been using one of their competitors to service my old furnace and ended up paying a few hundred dollars for new parts every 6 months or so. After getting fed up with that I called Guin and will never call another heating and air company. Guin came out day of and got me a. new unit much cheaper than I expected and didn't leave my wife, young kids and I in the cold. Their team was very friendly, played with my dog and said hey to my kids when they came home. I would give six stars if I could.

I had my AC go out a while back, and I was extremely grateful that Guin was able to fix it. Being in an 87 degree house is no fun at all, and they sent who I think was one of their most experienced HVAC techs to come fix my AC. He was very knowledgeable, on time, and did amazing work. He even gave us a free pen with their name and number for future work. Very cool company. No pun intended.

Only being a homeowner for 3 years, my experience with A/C repair services are pretty limited. But I have had a few experiences and one thing always seems consistent is the desire to get in new parts and not attempt other methods. I have felt this some with Guin, but overall they seem pretty straight forward. I have had the same technician come out both times and I really like him.

He is personable and knowledgable. And for the most part, tries to help me figure out what is best. But this last time, I had a freon leak and the most logical place was the evaporator coil from what he could tell. The options that were given, were refill the freon and see what happens or replace the whole thing. I inquired about using a sealant and I was given very little optimism that it would work.

But they would be willing to try. When he came to do that, he noticed a significant leak on the outside unit and concluded that is the main cause of why it was running down so low. A much cheaper repair than replacement. In this situation, deciding to not replace the entire coil resulted in a much cheaper and still effective repair. Hence why it is a tougher pill to swallow that I almost paid $3k for that (plus the attempt the sale of labor warranties).

But in all fairness, he did inform me of the actual cause once he found it. A dishonest person could have just done the sealant and let it continue to leak. It was a situation that all worked out in the end. But I always will be wary of repair work that I know very little about. I feel like my experiences with Guin were never dishonest. But I would definitely do some research on issues once they give you a diagnosis as the up-sale will always be there.

Courteous, professional and efficient on annual heat and humidifier service. This is what we have come to expect from Guin.
