I hired RevCo several years ago to repair a solar pool heater that was installed by a company that had gone under. The repair seemed to work until the rooftop pipes they installed began to warp in the sun and ripped out of the roof. I decided it was time to start over with a new system and called to set up an appointment to buy a whole new system.
Several messages were left and I got no response. When I finally got ahold of someone we set up a service call but had to wait several weeks. The appointed day came and the technician was a no-show. Hours later I got a call saying they'd have to cancel due to a positive Covid test. Ok, I thought. Things happen. We rescheduled. Another day taken off work and another no-show.
No courtesy call this time. So I called them. The technician was running late they said. It might be another hour, but the tech would call when they were on the way. No-show, no call. Two days off work wasted waiting for a company that clearly doesn't need my business. Now I have holes in my roof due to their shoddy workmanship and materials. Looks like I'll have to go to another company. Take your business elsewhere. I will.

Pool Owners in CA DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! In MAY we signed a contract to have a solar system done for our pool as well as a new variable pump installed for June 5. We had to wait a month in a half almost to start the project bc of ordering the parts. June 5 th came which we had to not go out of town for so we could be home for this project and the never showed.
Finally got them out here the 10th in which they never completed our contract of installing a solar and pump. They said they didn't have a pump and expect installation next week. Never happened. We continued to follow up and was told they are having a hard time finding one. And continued to not keep us informed of what was going on. Called in August again and was told they would follow up.
Here we are approaching October and they still have no pump. If they knew of the issues of getting supplies they never should of told us they would install something they didn't have in stock or a way to get it. I'm Fully aware of ths shortage in supplies going around which is why we should of never been told it would be installed in the first place when they didn't even have it as well as the lack of customer service on Tiffany's part for never reaching out and us always having to call to find out what is going on and be given an attitude.
Customer Service is HUGE to me, I'd be completely content waiting 6 months for the pump had that been the starting conversation. But being lied to and not caring about the situation is what erks me. So my reasoning for not recommending is break in contract, being lied to, rude customer service by Tiffany, not holding themselves accountable and wasting our time. We had another company able to get us the pump but chose this company bc they could do it all as we were told and all they did was half of the job we signed up for.

We have been a customer for many years. Our pool was built 30 years ago and we had Fafco solars panels installed with the pool. The panels are warranted for 10 years and Revco has been servicing them forever (we did have them replace the panels almost 10 years ago as we live out in Rancho Cucamonga and the sun and wind are brutal). We take advantage of the yearly service in the spring as they offer a special and their technician comes out and goes over the system checking to be sure all are in working order for the late spring and summer season. Revco has always been responsive and extremely professional from the customer service appointment to our technician (who has been Morgan for at least the last few times.great guy and does a really good job).
Even during COVID when I'm sure it was extremely difficult to keep help both working and healthy.they always kept their appointment with us and did a superb job.and we are 40 miles away. In these days where people seem to have shorter fuses. I want everyone to know what a terrific company Revco has been to us and how much we appreciate their excellent service.

I think I called RevCo, had an appointment, met with Jim, and had the paper proposal all in the same day! They made dealing with my HOA a piece of cake, and the whole team was responsive and friendly, thanks Tiffany and Leslie! We installed a solar pool heating system on our roof, and we are already happy and swimming in our warm pool! Thanks for making this home improvement so easy for us!

I received estimates from 2 other companies. They were similar to REVCO in price, however I went with REVCO because they have been around for so long. I am very happy I went with REVCO. They installed the system quick, and answered all questions my wife and I had. They installed solar electric, but we are considering getting it for our pool as well.

Revco installed water-heating solar panels to heat our pool over 10 years ago and they are still working fantastic. The recently came out for a minor repair and charged us zero. I couldn't be happier with them. This isn't the first time they came out without a charge. The panels extend our pool time by more than two months!

This company is amazing. They just installed new solar panels on my house which will completely eliminate my electricity bill which includes a heated pool and electric vehicle charging. They gave me a fair price and provided the documentation necessary to obtain the tax credit. Matt and his crew were knowledgeable, polite, on time, honest and hard working.
They finished the project in less time than they anticipated and stayed late each evening to get it done. They made the process easy and certainly earned this five star review!

I have to agree with a lot of prior reviews here. I purchased a system years ago on a prior home through revco and it was great prior to moving. Recently I called to inquire about going solar and couldn't seem to get anywhere. Not sure if its under new ownership or what but I can tell the employee turn over there is high because I never spoke to the same person twice in a three week period. Pretty surreal to me that no one is interested in selling solar systems when that is the business you are in. I ended up calling solar city once and didnt have any issues.

I'd like to thank Tiffany for squeezing me into their schedule yesterday and get this repair taken care of instead of having to wait another week. The service guys were great and replaced the panel that was leaking. I still don't agree with the $150 service fee on something that is under warranty but I do appreciate them trying to get this taken care of in a timely manner.

-1 star actually. I made an appointment to have an existing pool solar system diagnosed for maintenance. My original appointment was rescheduled after I called to see when the technician would be there. I was promised first appointment the following day. It was a no show and after calling the office, no return call when he would be there. Bad first impression. I called SumTrek Solar that day and got my diagnosis and appointment for repairs.

It's been just over a month since Revco installed our new solar heating system for our pool. After seeing our utilities bills, we are officially saving money while heating our pool! Install went great, they were on time, efficient, and courteous. After shopping around, they had competitive rates and excellent reviews. Happy to compliment their job well done and would definitely recommend!

Solar heating specialists has gone out of business or they were sold to Revco. They originally install our system, and they told us warranty will be through Revco. But Revco wont cover warranty, they might be out of business too. They don't answer the phones. We were told to contact Celestial Solar pool heating they are a local company here in town and we have been very happy with their service.

We had a system installed several years ago. Everything worked for awhile, then we needed warranty. HORRIBLE! We called, they came out once, said they repaired the problem. Had to call them again for warranty, they came out charged us $150 FOR WARRANTY! Called a THIRD time for warranty, the tech said we are far away from them & he would call us when in the area. Guess what, no call, that was last year. We've given up on our leak ever being repaired by them.

I agree with Lee M. Revco is Completely Incompetent! No customer support. Never return calls or email. I had my monitoring system down since February and have been unable to get it fixed. They have scheduled at least 6 appointments with me and give me a 4 hour window to sit and wait and nobody shows up. Only excuses! Have tried to communicate with sales agent that sold us the system and his help has been very minimal and unconcerned. I have had better luck going directly to Sunpower.

One word sums up this company: incompetent. Need a zero star option. Their customer service is abysmal - they take forever to return calls/emails and are completely disorganized. Their technical service is worse - they sent two technicians around for three hours on a simple warranty repair job. All they did was abuse Sunpower technical support who were trying to help them resolve my issue.
They were literally dropping f-bombs while on the phone with them while I was standing there. I was worried that I had a serious issue until one of Revco's competitors showed up and had the problem resolved in an hour. Don't know how this company is still in business.

My family& I were thinking of getting solar for our home, had a few quotes and then we came across this company. They were so helpful from the moment they answered the initial phone call. They had us meet with one of their reps Larry, and he had a presentation all laid out. The process working with them has essentially been flawless. We really like how they are a local business, and I read on their website how they are the first Solar Company in OC! We are looking forward to getting our solar panels installed within the next few weeks.
