We chose Lakes Heating & Air for a complete furnace, AC, duct & vent installation to replace the boiler heat and a single mini-split AC unit in a split-level house my wife and I are renovating. Lakes came highly recommended by a close friend in the industry, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and the overall experience of dealing with the team (Brad, Mike, and Denver) every step of the way. Retro-fitting ducting into our split-level was no easy task, and Lakes was confident in their design and that they would be able to get the system installed.

We were blown away at the attention to detail of the installers and the effort given to install the system with minimal impact to the existing structure of the house. The job was done on time and there were no surprises or hidden costs on the final invoice. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Lakes Heating & Air to anyone looking for HVAC sales, service, and installations.

There are two furnaces in our home and there were two thermostats that were interconnected for some stupid reason. In other words, they were both required to use the problem unit. This started causing problems and Tom basically re-engineered the wiring and solved an ongoing problem in like 20 minutes. He is a very resourceful EXPERT and I have heat in both halves of the house again! Very cost effective too.

Lakes Heating installed my heating and A/C unit in 2002 when we built our house. I scheduled a appointment for cleaning of our heating/cooling system. Lakes Service Tech Ryan telephoned prior to his on time arrival. I found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. A true extension of the great quality of customer service oriented business like Lakes Heating. Thumbs up!

My wife and I bought a house that we love, but there are many projects to complete. This house has two furnaces, and they both needed replaced. One of them did not have AC, either, so we wanted to replace that one first. I had two other companies come out to offer quotes. The first one was ridiculously high, in addition to being a jerk. The second company was good, but they didn't offer financing.

This house was built in two sections. One section has a crawlspace, and the other part has a basement. Of the three companies that came to take a look, Mickey from Lakes was the only guy who went into the crawlspace in order to give an accurate estimate. In fact, because he did, we found out that the other estimates would have been wildly inaccurate.

The other guys did not want to get dirty, but Mickey from Lakes didn't think twice about it. We had Lakes replace the first furnace. I really like the Armstrong system they installed. It is quiet and has made the house feel so much better. Lakes installed it cleanly, efficiently, and they cleaned up after themselves immaculately. I couldn't even tell they had been there, besides the new furnace, obviously.

My wife said one of the workers even walked around with a wet cloth to wipe areas in the house where they might have touched or walked. I had never heard of a company being that concerned with cleanliness. All in all, my wife and I were impressed. The company is responsive, Mickey was a great salesman, and the install crew were courteous and hard-working.

The work they did looks fantastic and super clean cut, like the furnace was designed specifically for our house. We are planning to replace the more complicated furnace next year, and I have no plans to shop around for it. We will be going with Lakes again.

Best service, honest, fair prices! I called Lakes because of their reputation in the community, and I was not disappointed. My furnace went out during a cold snap of subzero temperatures, and Lakes got a new furnace in my home the very next day for a fair price. They could've charged me anything, but they did not take a vantage of my situation. Everyone conducted himself or herself like a complete professional. Everyone wore masks, and everyone was polite.

I am new to the area and shortly after moving into our new home, we learned the zone heating was not working. I received a couple of quotes. Lake's Heating was thorough and quoted us only for work that was required to repair the issue -- 75% less than another quote! The work was done scheduled and completed quickly -- all working great. I recommend Lakes whole-heartedly.
