Gave an accurate diagnosis and sent a reasonable bill when I decided not to complete the repair.

Their team is proffesional and excellendt at what they do. We had to swap out our external heat pump/ac unit plus the air handler in our attic since they we old. They sold us Rheem equipment to replace what was there, and fixed some of the drain line issues in ouir crawl space that were causing problems. I rate them a 10 plus anyday! Do not listen to James Lawrence all he/she does is complain clink on her name. All his/her reviews are funny. You can just imagine a person so mad that takes time out of their day to try and ruin someone elses. It is just too funny. He/She did not even provide actual feedback on their heating and air conditioning. And I would like them to rush to get to my house in the middle of the summer or winter. #kidzbopmom#karen

If you are going to speed, tailgate, lane hop with no signal, cut people off and run red lights, you probably shouldn't do so in a big van with your company logo on it. Whoever was driving your van today endangered the lives of plenty of drivers including myself and my children. That is unacceptable.

Our AC stopped working so we gave this company a call. We explained the issue and also mentioned how it was going to be extremely cold the next 2 nights. The secretary was very nice and understanding. They immediately worked us into their schedule, came to our home within a couple days, and replaced some parts for us. Few days later more components went out due to water damage.

We called them back and they came over the same day and fixed it within 30mins. I highly recommend this company and appreciate how much they take care of their customers! 5/5

I'm a contractor in Wilmington and I've worked with Brinson and Sons for over 3 years now. they always provided me with quality and timely service.

Had to come out twice. Charged $185 first time. Two weeks later called back for same problem. Charged $280 to check coolant (ok) and blow out drain line. Also said they found that defrost board would cycle on off ok most of the time and should be replaced but didn't have one. Gave me a price of $460 to come back and replace. I bought one on Amazon for $35 and replaced it myself.

I would never use anyone else! They are ALWAYS on point. Highly recommend them. Fast friendly and knowledgeable.

This past Dec (2017) I had a service call due to the new heat failing 2.5 years after it was installed by Brinson. I was told that the parts were under warrantee, but I would have to pay for the labor which ended up costing $225. They suggested I also get a $300 "Annual" service contract which included 'free filters'. I wasn't thrilled about spending over $500, but I thought I would be protected for a full year, so I agreed.

They serviced the heat while they were here to do the warrantee repairs and the heat worked fine. But they said they could not service the AC in the winter and would come back with my free filters to service the AC when it was warmer. Now I am told that I should have read the contract and the Annual means 'one time' per year. And, that I should have had both the heat and AC done at the same time.

So to summarize - I paid over $500 for a repair that was under warrantee and still need to pay to get the AC serviced. Not good for a Family-Run business that should care more for the customer. Total BS. Never again.

This company is the worst. Their communication is horrible. 3 months, 12 emails, 10 phone calls, and 5 service calls later and our system still isn't fixed. I will never do business with this company again, and I will make sure everyone knows what a joke they are!

Brinson & Sons have been wonderful to work with. I can't believe how fast they respond to calls and are able to fix things quickly. It's always a pleasure speaking with them in the office and at the site. Very courteous and helpful.

I've been through a whole house remodel in Wilmington and just had issues with the thermostat for the existing HVAC system. I replaced it myself but only hot air came out of the ducts. Brinson & Sons had someone here in about an hour after my call and straightened out the initial programming of the thermostat and did a tune up in less than an hour.

The price was very fair, and the service was exceptional. A+++++ across the board. Thank you! This was my best experience with a home related service provider since moving here.

They are absolutely awesome! The receptionist is very sweet and the guy that came out to our house was very friendly and respectful! He even stayed late to fix our unit. I will never have anyone else work on our unit - Highly recommended! : Very professional!

I have used this company twice and have only good things to say about them. The repair technicians were polite, professional and well trained. But, the best example of the culture of this company is that they had given me a quote of about $1800 for a large ac repair job. I agreed to the price and the job was scheduled. However, upon completion, they told me the parts prices had gone down and the final cost was closer to $1200.

Most companies would have collected the $1800 quoted and kept the extra $600 as profit but Brinson & Sons was far more honest than that. For this reason, I will be a customer of theirs for life.

Our a/c went out and I called around to other companies asking for quotes. Tim Brinson talked to me and made me feel like he cared. Not like the others, who acted like I was waisting their time asking quesitons about something I obviously didn't know anything about! They worked with us and got us a new unit put in and I couldn't be happier! They are absolutely fabulous, and I appreciate everything they did! Highly Recommended! :

After a little scare with my heater this weekend, Brinson & Son came out today and did a complete check over and found a part that was bad. Great job and great customer service. My wife was home for the service call but the tech still called me to let me know what he had found. Highly recommended!
