Balance Point Heating and Air started as a small residential service company and has expanded into a well-oiled residential and commercial service machine. For almost 30 years, we have provided residents of the Fort Collins, Colorado, area with outstanding customer service and installation practices.
According to the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Star program, leaky ducts in attics or crawlspaces can account for 20 percent or more of a home's heating and cooling energy losses. This results in higher utility bills for you and difficulty keeping your house comfortable. Run your system, and check all the ducts and joints you can access.
Most people immediately think of furnaces when opting to heat their homes. However, boilers provide a highly effective heat option, have a long life, can reach high heating efficiencies, and some types require little or no pumping energy. Boilers are an important part of a central heating system. They're a continuous closed loop of pipes carrying heated water (or steam) throughout your home.
You may have heard about ductless heating and cooling systems, but do you know about their advantages? The most common HVAC systems are central air conditioners and heat pumps that use ducts to deliver conditioned air throughout a building. Ductless systems are more flexible than traditional systems, because ductless systems don't use ductwork.

Balance Point did an awesome job from Ben the salesman to completion fo the work. Very professional, knowledgeable, on time, and clean. They work long hours to assure we had heat over the weekend of installation and late to finish in 2 days as promised. They helped me thru the dilemma of using EPIC for the financing since you have to complete all the projects before getting the home improvement loan. They were able to provide no interest financing until the rest of the projects are complete. Thanks Balance Point!

I give them 5 stars for the original work done.but so much of what goes into the quality of a company is how they handle service after they've been paid. Two issues came up one year after the unit was installed. 1. We were having electrical work done and our electrician told us our mini-split was not installed to code to the main breaker. I have no idea if this was correct or not.but I informed balance point!
After the initial concern and we'll have someone look into this right away.crickets. I called and emailed and received no response. 2. I was having landscaping done and needed my Mimi-split moved. I was told they could help and would give me a call back. I called and emailed and received no response. At least they're consistent. Ben was the sales rep and although my initial call was not to him, I did email him.
They can say they're soooo busy and they're doing their best, but bottom line calling or writing back take just a few seconds. So sorry, that doesn't work. Very poor customer service post installation.

Our heater blower went out on Sunday (furnace and A/C were 25 years old), Balance Point sent Ben out on Monday with our options and Anthony and Alex showed up on Thursday morning to replace the whole system. We were very pleased with how professional and personable they were and how well they explained our new system. We recommend Balance Point to anyone needing furnace and/or air conditioning work or replacement!

Balance point went out of their way to get me a furnace part that the big dealers refused to discuss without a service call. Not only did they track down the part and beat the internet price, but delivered it to me in a couple of hours. They made maybe a couple of dollars on the deal, but they also gained an enthusiastic customer.

Friendly, professional, and great to work with. We worked with multiple technicians and each one was amazing. We recently purchased a home with a commercial outdoor RTU heat pump, the unit is very atypical for a home. They presented us with many options and provided us with a great solution. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY!
