Before we get to how to fix a coolant leak, let's talk about why it is important to fix your leak quickly. If your car is leaking coolant, it will run normally until the coolant level gets too low. Once it is low, there will not be enough coolant to keep your engine at the normal operating temperature and the engine will over heat.
The repercussions for not installing a brand new radiator can be costly. Please read through the following explanations of why repairing, replacing or recoring your existing radiator does not compete with purchasing a brand new radiator. Most standard radiator components are bonded with solder, which can deteriorate and corrode.

Always a pleasure doing business here. You won't find a more courteous and trustworthy shop. Communication was great. Quality of work was superb, and the experience in general was beyond reproach. Trust these guys to treat you right and fix your problem. Local businesses like this deserve our support. Thanks guys.

Do not go anywhere near this place. This happened a few days ago. I was working on a 1960 el camino fuel system. I removed the gas tank and wanted it leak tested and cleaned. Called and spoke to Jimmy. He said to bring it down and have it inspected, they would tell me what needed to be done. I asked what the usual cost is to have it cleaned. He wouldn't tell me.
That was my first clue. But since there was no charge to check and advise, I decided to take it down. Before taking it, I ran a gallon of gas through the tank and drained it into a paint filter. There was some grit but nothing that I thought couldn't be cleaned with one of their chemical tanks. This is a simple process that I've used over my years of NAISE experience.
National automotive institute for service excellence. Know today as ASE. I met jimmy and filled out the work ticket. Jimmy said put the tank right outside the front door. I placed it there and was showing him the filter when Jack A. Beard came to the front and snottingly asked if there was gas in the tank. I replied, "no". He said, "in getting a strong odor of gas".
I said, "well, it's a gas tank". He then asked jimmy of the tank was " full of varnish and rust holes." I knew where this was going. I told Jack A. Beard, never got his name but you'll know this character when you see him, " I'll just take my business someplace else". The A stands for 3 letter word that has 2 SS's in it. Folks, if a business can't tell your what they're charges are for a service BEFORE they perform it, run away.
They SHOULD know, that's their job. If the service cost more than buying a new fuel tank, I wouldn't have even wasted my time going there. I am retired from 28 years as a firefighter, outside, there is no hazard of fuel "smell". It's a gas tank for christ sakes. I brought the proof of what condition the tank was with the filter I was showing Jimmy. This Jack A. Beard was well, figure it out by the name I gave you. Stay away from this Jack A. He made Jimmy look like a fool. Made himself look like.

Great group of guy at first former employee of the Company. Those who have dealt with them before know the guys out front know their stuff about a/c, radiators, gas tanks, and so on. But the Company is ran by someone who is all about themselves in many way then one. I've witnessed over the years of pieces that who be moved around the shop for big clients for the owner to by himself more time on pieces h either hasn't started on or doesn't know the route to taken.
I've seen stuff that was dropped off left an right until a mth down the line the customer wanted to pick up an he gives then the run around. I do not advise working for this Company seeing they do pay good an the owner countless sits in the office all day with watching YouTube, facebook, or some sort church services. This is the only place I have ever worked at the where the owner has no sort of retirement plan for the gentleman who basically runs and does everything in the shop in the front while he sits around half the time.
The owner is the type of guy that was legitly sitting office until 4 each day and then want to start barking orders about working and getting everything done before 5:30 once everyone else has busted ads trying to stay busy because customers are constantly calling him wanting their stuff saying he doesn't really want to work after time. I'm sorry but I do not recommend Beach radiator ink for any sorts of work if you need anything done in a timely manner go somewhere else you'll have a last chance of being preached at and more of an opportunity I'm getting your stuff back on time and not waiting around constantly.

I took two small motorcycle tanks to these guys to be cleaned and sealed. I was met by a very friendly person who told me they where at lunch and couldn't give a quote until they returned, so I left the tanks. 6 days later I called, and they said they hadn't had time to look at them. 13 days after drop off I went to the shop and asked for my quote, figuring they had had enough time.
They still had not looked at them enough for a quote, a quote mind you. He told me I had two choices, take the tanks back or wait till he gets to it. I took my tanks back. Almost 2 weeks for a quote on two small tanks is rediculos. Don't know about their work because I couldn't get that far. Guess they don't deal slot with small projects or something. I'd go somewhere else.

A great experience considering I had to replace my radiator. Glenn and his staff provided top notch service and explained everything thoroughly. I would highly recommend Beach Radiator. Their price was significantly lower than the quote given to me by the mechanics I normally deal with. Just a nice group of guys with strong Christian values.

This is my first review I have ever done online (this is how much I recommend this place!). I just moved over to V.B. with my family from the West Coast with a/c issues the whole way over. We had work done on our car at my former base and at a Honda dealership in Montana. Both places did not fix the issue and the dealership who should know honda's systems better than anyone else, did nothing but charge me an arm and a leg for their "work" they "did" on the car! Beach is very reasonable, knowledgeable, and honest! They are very military friendly as well! If you EVER have radiator or a/c issues this should be your first stop!
