Called C & H answering service due to loss of heat in our home. No emergency, but they called and responded first thing the next day. Kyle responded and was beyond professional, knowledgeable, personable and efficient. He conducted several tests, cleaned parts of the system and ultimately replaced a blown fuse and restored heat. He explained a few issues, made suggestions, and almost seemed to feel guilty about charging us the $90 service call for his labor. We have been with Corcoran and Harnist for more than 45 years. They have installed HVAC three times for us as we moved from house to house. We have yearly maintenance and their crew is always professional, arrival and polite customer approach. When we need immediate service they are always there on time. Making appointments is at our convenience. We would give them a 10+ star rating, if there was one.

Corcoran & Harnist totally replaced my HVAC system and I could not be more pleased. From the initial visit/assessment with Ken Kuhns., I felt like I was in great hands. The install went very easily in spite of the huge thunderstorm that delayed the crane for only 15 min! Everyone on the team was professional, polite, funny and you can tell they love their job.

If you enjoy what you are doing, it shows in your work. All team members had smiles on their faces throughout the day! Ken Kuhns was even on hand that morning to check on the team and to help the crane unload the old unit and place the new unit on the roof! (I live in a 93 yr. old building that was converted into condominiums). That really impressed me!

How many sales people are actually on site the day your work is being done? Anyway, this building is old and has it's quirks (walking 4 flights of stairs to the roof 10-12 times!) but NO complaints from the team! Again, I could not be happier. This recent visit was great! For over 20 yrs we have continued to be very happy with the reliability & thoroughness of Corcoran & Harnist employees plus they take time to listen & answer questions. The prepaid maintenance agreements have worked well & reminders to schedule these in Spring & fall to ensure dependability of heating & air-conditioning!

Critical: Value Corcoran and Harnist repaired our AC.we were charged 195.95 for a capacitor and 89.95 for the service call. I challenged the cost of the capacitor because Grainger and Lowe's sells the same one for under 20.00. When Matt from C&H called he said the cost was justified.oh well, live and learn. The HVAC techs at Corcoran & Harnist were fantastic. I called for a furnace repair. Cody called a half hour before arrival, which gave me time to get home, and he arrived on time. He found the problem and fixed it. The furnace was functioning properly. Unfortunately, there was an additional issue that was overlooked and a fuse blew later that day.

The next day Craig arrived on time, and giving me a call ahead of time as well. He found the short that caused the fuse to blow, and addressed the issue. This was extremely easy to miss, so I can't blame Cody as there were multiple problems. Either way, the service was speedy, punctual, and they got things working properly. Thanks guys!

Our furnace went out in the middle of the night. woke up freezing. call corcoran & harnist they send ken out to check on it. he fix it for us. they do excellent work. very nice and friendly. i give them five stars. highly recommended.

While no one wants to find out 2 days after Christmas that their furnace is unsafe and needs to be replaced immediately, these guys made the experience as positive as possible. Having dealt with them for years, we knew we were in good hands. They had things up and running as fast as possible, thoroughly and patiently went over options, and were professional and very tidy in completing the work. We would strongly recommend them.

One of their drivers just tried to run me off the road on the highway after tailgating me an inch away from my bumper when there was someone in front of me and I couldn't move! Then proceeded to speed up around. me and try to run me off the road, but he couldn't because there were cars ahead of us blocking us! Super aggressive driver then Flicked me off for. being ahead of him?

He should be locked in a prison cell! Called and spoke to a manager, I guess, and was treated with a hostile tone And no resolution given! I can only imagine what kind of business they are running if this who in running their business, and did all of this in his work van with their number posted on the sign! What a great business marketing plan!

Love our new quiet furnace. Appreciate C&H's professionalism and knowledge. Installation was done in a manner that gave us great confidence in the product, the installation and explanation of what they were doing and why. Great service today from Ken. Called ahead and showed up on time! Gave me options that fit my need no pressure and will definitely use again and share with my friends how great they were. Will need an new system coming soon and they will be my choice for installation.

I am leaving five stars because today, I received exceptional customer service! The gentleman at Corcoran & Harnist went above and beyond to assist me. I was on the side of the road with a busted tire and without hesitation, they stopped to assist me with putting on my spare. I am so grateful for their generosity!

Greg and his team were amazing. Our Ac needed to be replaced. They provided a quote on Friday and were able to install the new unit on Monday. Their crew was fast, efficient, polite, and professional. We couldn't be more happy with their services.

AC went out on a Saturday. Chris from Corcoran and Harnist was here within minutes. He replaced the compressor within 1/2 hour. very professional, reasonable as nd friendly. Wouldn't call on anyone else!

The service with C&H was beyond stellar.from the immediate engagement within 15 minutes of our emergency call of our air conditioning failing (On a Sunday no less), to the professionalism of the installation team (thank you Brian and Bennie). Lastly, the personal visit from Greg Harnist who thoroughly explained the process along with the maintenance routine after the unit was installed sealed the lasting impression and trust of our future business.

I replaced my whole house air conditioner June, 2019. Tim Corcoran was very fair and honest in setting his price. They started the work when promised and completed it on time. The crew was friendly and all that anyone could ask for. I talked to five different AC contractors before contractors before selecting Corcoran & Harnist. They were the most straightforward.

Chris was able to fix the steady drip in my old boiler/radiator system. And he didn't over charge me.

Got home from work and the house was cold. Asked a friend who to call and they gave me the name and number of their guy. I spoke with him and he came over first thing in the morning and had the problem diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour for a fair price. I now have a go to company. Thanks Chris!

Chris from Corcoran and Harnist came out the other night, diagnosed all issues with my HVAC system in my home. He not only was professional, but extremely knowledgeable. He was able to get my fiance and I a short term fix, while my home warranty company continues to drag it's feet. I will only use this company from here on out. True professionals and actually take the time to diagnose, explain, and propose fixes. Tremendous service!

Yesterday they replaced our air conditioner, which they had replaced last summer. The unit they used last summer was the exact size of the unit it replaced. It did not, however, keep the house cool. Tim Corcoran discussed the facts with me and he decided they needed the next size larger. He admitted he could not get it in place in time to make much difference last summer, but promised faithfully he'd have it done before the season this year. Lo and behold, the new unit is in (at ZERO additional dollars) and runs - still too cool in March to be sure it will keep the house 75 degrees, but with a stand-up guy like Tim Corcoran standing behind it I'm not concerned! Call Tim - it's like having your brother-in-law doing your HVAC! (the good one, not the 'shyster')

Who DOES that!? Corcoran & Harnist guys just spent most of the day replacing our AC unit, running the lines through the open ceiling in the studio - which is painted black. They went out & got black spray paint to paint the lines without asking, just knowing it was what we'd want. :0 they're not allowed to be that cool are they!?!

I was very happy with my service from Corcoran and & Harnist - until I used my good sense to get a second opinion. My home is an older home with two HVAC units - one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs unit was not cooling. The technician was courteous and kind, but had to deliver the bad news - the unit had to be repaired ($2000) or replaced ($3000) because of a likely leak in the coil. "Hmm, that's funny", I said, "We recently purchased the house, and the inspector said nothing of the sort".

He said it was for the better, as the older Freon is being phased out. Mixing truth with fiction - he's good. Well, I got a second opinion, from a different company. That technician came out, sprayed some soapy water on the Freon hose connection outside, determined that the bolt had simply come loose at the base of the exterior fan unit. Pumped a few pounds of Freon into it, and it has been running like new for 4 months. So, wouldn't an honest company have diagnosed and fixed my immediate problem and THEN given me the option of thinking about a newer system? I've never written a Yelp review, but this one was prompted when the Corcoran & Harnist collections assistant tried to convince me that her technician did everything right, and could I please pay them the extra fees they slipped onto my bill? I live in Northside, so I'd like to help out my side of town, but I'd keep searching if I were you.

New house, new furnace/AC. Ugh! We shopped it out to three different companies. Corcoran & Harnist got our business. Here's why. Price. They were the best price by a fair margin. Obviously this is a big factor, but I'm glad to say it never felt like a cheap company. Professional. Their salesman wasn't pushy. This is huge for me. I hate hate hate the hard sell.

He gave me all the info, answered my questions, double-checked I had his contact info and then left. That's the right way to do it. Courteous. Their installers asked before they did anything that might disrupt my family. It was actually a little funny how deferential they were. Still better to have them ask often rather than not at all. Thorough.

After the installation I had to have them come back out to fix a link in some ductwork. On their dime, he spent an hour searching for that leak and plugging every possible spot it could be. They also took care of all the paperwork for me to get my Duke Energy credit. If you ask people on the West Side of Cincinnati, chances are they've used, or know someone who has used Corcoran & Harnist. They'll tell you, too. They are a top-notch company!
