I gave my brother a referral to Cornerstone Heating & Air, LLC when his A/C stopped working in July of 2020. I have a friend who used this company for the installation of a new A/C unit and they were pleased. My brother used Cornerstone Heating & Air, LLC, and said he was very happy with their services. He said they were nice, figured out the issue quickly, and they were reasonable.

Billy is so good that when I called him recently (September 2020) for service as a past customer, he told me he appreciated the offer but could not take on any new service requests. He did not put me on a wait list or even suggest it, basically the sense I got was I should move on and find another service provider. So either he is busy working on new construction installations with his current clients or he is about to hang it up.
Maybe both, as he's hinted at closing shop before. He does respond to texts, so maybe if you really want him to work for you, get the latest status from him directly. While I'm without AC, I'm still giving him 5 stars for his past work and out of respect. Just want you, the consumer, to know he is no longer accepting new service requests.

Great service from a knowledgeable, courteous guy. I'd had refrigerant added last summer by a different company, and they recommended that I should replace the system entirely fairly soon. Now, ten months later, I wanted to get a second opinion and see how the refrigerant was holding out. Billy inspected the refrigerant level and added a little bit, but overall, I was in good shape. Very affordable visit, and I feel confident that my system isn't ready for replacement quite yet.

Billy stopped by the day after I called him to check out my unit. He provided me with 10 different quotes and walked me through each option. Once I decided on the best one for me, he came by with his team that same week and installed the new unit in ONE day. He also put in fans in my bathroom. The next week I got a notification from the utility company that my energy usage went down 50%.
They send me week to week comparisons, so I was shocked. He then texted to check in to see how I liked it, I said I loved it but it was a bit louder. He stopped by the next day and made it so much quieter. I highly highly recommend this business.

We had an air conditioner, which began leaking on our wooden floor. I called to make an appointment with Cornerstone to help. Billy Morgan said he was booked for the next three days. He heard the "fright" in my voice and came by that same night (after normal working hours) to evaluate the situation. He gave us three options: 1) a temporary fix that would last at least 2 years for $1800, 2) replace the entire inside unit for about $6500, or 3) replace the entire 15-year-old system with a much quieter, more efficient system for $12,000. Gulp.
After some discussion, we bit the "BIG" bullet. The installation was completed on time and without any mess three days later. We are so satisfied --- it was worth it. It is so very quiet. He is the owner of the business and he treated us as valued friends, as well as a customer. We could not have been more pleased. It is wonderful that there are still people who are caring.

Cornerstone came out today because my AC wasn't cooling my house properly. Billy and Clayton where the guys to work on my unit and instead of up selling me a new unit the said mine had a few more seasons in it and only serviced it. I really appreciate there honesty. I would use them again in the future.

I called Cornerstone on a Saturday morning because my AC was not cooling. They estimated an arrival time of between 10:00 and 11:00. Billy was here right around 10:00. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the defective part. While he was here, I asked him to take a quick look at the system another company installed in 2014. Although there were several things wrong with the installation, there was nothing that seemed like it needed to be worked on immediately.
At least now I know where to call to get good reliable service - something the installation company has been unable to provide. And, they've been here at least six times to 'correct' and 'fix' installation issues. A bit thank you to Cornerstone!

Can't say enough good things about this guy! Showed up when he promised, finished an installation someone else botched, redid significant portions the other guy messed up, went above and beyond expectations and still only charged his original estimate. The quality of his work was outstanding and he was very professional! If you need HVAC work in the Dripping Springs area, call this guy with confidence!

Based on this companies previous yelp reviews, I scheduled an inspection for an HVAC unit in a home I am purchasing. The appointment was scheduled for yesterday, and the arrival time of the inspector was between 10am-12pm. Because the home is still occupied by the current owner, I sat in my truck in the driveway. Feeling awkward I called cornerstone to see if they had a better time estimate on their arrival.
No one answered the first or the second call, which I assumed meant they were out on the road. At 11:40am A woman answered the phone and sounded clueless about our appointment. She said she would call me back immediately to give me the status of the technician. After not receiving a phone call for another hour, I called back only to get the answering machine again. An incredible 2.5hrs later, she calls me back and asks me if I still want him to come out?!
Then she says for what I need done, we have to schedule an appointment but they're too busy so it wouldn't be for a least another week. So basically, I made an appointment for nothing and sat in my truck for 3.75hrs for nothing. You lost an opportunity for a long term residential and commercial client by your lack of communication and professionalism.

We have been using Cornerstone Heating/Air for years now because Billy Morgan is the most straightforward and honest person. How many times have you felt taken advantage of from service people? We have never felt this way with Cornerstone. We use them for both our home and our office. We highly recommend them.

Apparently to my chagrin the flux capacitor in Back to the Future is not a real device. A capacitor on your A/C at home is as real as it gets; especially when it goes out or starts to malfunction. I called Cornerstone based on a family members recommendation for some old fashion troubleshooting when my unit cut out the other day. My appointment was on Wednesday; but Mr. Morgan showed up the same day!
He listened to my recap of the problem and spent some time checking it over. All was well and my A/C was in good condition. As summer winds down into the mid 90's; you might as well spend some $$'s to make sure its gonna keep you cool even thru fall where it might just be 85 degrees. Those dollars I didn't spend however because he refused to charge me for the checkup. I know Cornerstone will be on my speed dial for all things A/C in the future. Thanks for the prompt, friendly, and professional service!
