Clover Comfort

This company was a joy to work with and we are very satisfied. We contacted Clover to address a disparity in the heating and a/c in our house. The upstairs was cold in the winter and hot in the summer, no matter how much we pumped up the central air/heat. Anthony came and evaluated our heating problems and explained the benefits of going ductless to address them.

We found him friendly, professional and informative. They were able to start the work quickly and helped us qualify for some pretty significant ConEd incentives before the deadline runs out. The team they sent were professional in every way. They worked hard and arrived consistently on time. I was incredibly impressed at how careful they were to protect both my home and my health.

They covered the floors every day they were here, cleaned up any messes they made at the end of the day and the workers wore masks and maintained covid safe practices. Every employee they sent to my home was polite, hard-working and knowledgeable. They were genuinely nice men and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it was having these men in my home.

Now that the job is complete, I cannot get over how wonderful it is to have real heat on my second floor! I feel very satisfied that this was the right answer for our heating and a/c issues and the is was definitely the right company. I recommend this company without reservation.

The whole experience in working through figuring out the best solution for our house and budget was thorough and pleasant. Anthony came out and looked at our house, listened to what we needed and wanted and gave us multiple options as well as investigated incentives we were eligible for. Once we decided to do the project, his staff was neat, clean, thorough, and safe! So far so good. For the first time since we bought the house the second floor is a comfortable temperature in the winter! Looking forward to the AC in the summer as well.

I had a big complicated HVAC project and they handled it very well. After a year I feel confident in recommending them. Basically they were fast, reasonably priced and it works. Not much more to say.

Lightning struck our house damaging our heating and air conditioning systems. Vince and Johnny were professional and very responsive. They discovered the problems and fixed them all the first time. Johnny came on a Saturday to replace our thermostats when everything else was working and we needed the air conditioning. Vince called us after all repairs were completed to be sure the systems were working properly. Overall, we were extremely pleased with their service. I would use the again if needed and will recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC work.

Anthony at Clover is a class act. He gave me a quote to upgrade my home's HVAC. Ultimately, I chose a different solution (which worked better for me), but given that I was impressed by Anthony, I solicited his advice on how to handle a problem (on a Saturday evening no less!) and he graciously helped me out w/ good advice that got us out of a jam. Gotta appreciate someone who will help you out even after you've told them that you chose a different contractor. Thanks for being a class act, Anthony!

I am super impressed by Clover and I've been looking for a HVAC maintenance company for the last 12 years of living in Westchester! They really think about their customers, and even when problems arise that are out of their control (companies sending the wrong parts, etc.) they do their best to keep your systems going until a fix can be made. On top of that, they are fair with their pricing, and I could not recommend them more for customer service.

Their annual maintenance agreement is reasonably priced, and includes an annual maintenance and evaluation of all the systems for HWH AND HEAT AND A/C. Any issues you may have during the year, at least the diagnostic is free and there are discounts for any work required. Imagine, not having to pay $150+ for them to just come out to find out what is wrong! Do NOT use Clover for your A/C or heating needs. We enlisted their services four years ago and spent over $20k to install a complete ductless system, and it has NEVER worked properly. We are beyond frustrated since they have come out for "repairs" at least SIXTEEN times, and it has never been repaired! Anthony, the owner, initially listened (in the first year), but now will not even return our calls, despite us always being cordial and polite.

We finally had to hire another local AC expert who came same-day and actually REPAIRED what were leaks due to improper installation from the very beginning! We were so incredibly disappointed, not only in the service level, but Anthony's lack of response or any offer for reparations. In fact, they only agreed to send someone after weeks of requests AND if we PRE-paid $150.

This was "still no guarantee of diagnosis nor repair." Ultimately, after 16 visits from Clover, it never functioned properly. Yet, after ONE visit from Sila, it was repaired correctly and operates properly.

We have used Clover Comfort for 6 years living in Westchester. First of all, it is nice to know that you will get a prompt, friendly response from the office. The technician will show up and you will be notified if they are running late. We have had Clover Comfort install a generator, boiler, AC/Heating units, water heater, replaced baseboard heating units, and they have done general A/C heating and plumbing repairs. The Clover Comfort staff is wonderful to work with. You can be confident that they are going to do a great job.

I was so happy with Anthony and his whole team. They did a big job on my old house in September of this year. They showed up in masks and respected space and distance, handling a difficult time with ease and kindness. They were always on time, the communication was wonderful (with Anthony, and all of his staff), and when I changed my mind on something at the last minute they rolled with it.

They were so neat, and friendly, and the job was done on time! Once the job was completed Anthony followed up with me, unsolicited, to check on how it was all going. The system runs smoothly, and I'm so pleased. I highly recommend these guys! Even in a pandemic!

Clover Comfort has been our preferred contractor for A/C maintenance, generator installation, HVAC installation and plumbing issues for five years. When we call Clover, we can be confident of quick service, trustworthiness, dependability and a job expertly done. It can be nerve-wracking to have people you don't know working in your home, a place of safety for your family. Clover's employees have proven themselves honest, good people.

We felt fully at ease leaving our home intermittently during the three week period Clover was installing new HVAC units. It was relieving to feel comfortable running errands as needed, without concern for the security of our home or belongings. On another occasion, we called Clover Comfort for emergency assistance with a broken pipe. We trust Clover so completely that we felt confident providing them with access to our home as we left for a cross-country trip.

For jobs that require permits, Anthony and those at the Clover office are knowledgeable and skilled in obtaining proper documentation. Hiring Clover, we can rest assured all legalities of jobs will be addressed quickly and thoroughly. Clover's cleanliness during jobs is remarkable. Any time outside of hours that Clover was actively working at our home, the house was left immaculate.

After hours, we joked that it felt as if there was no construction going on during the multi-week installation of a new HVAC system in our home. As parents of a toddler, it was incredibly helpful that Clover did not leave tools, equipment, drop cloths or dust when they left each night. Don't hesitate in hiring this contractor. You may end up spending a little more than you would using another company, but Clover is well worth the cost. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Clover Comfort and would feel abundantly confident recommending Anthony and his team to close friends and family.

I have had several projects done by Clover Comfort and I am very happy with the results. Anthony and his team increased the energy efficiency of my home, increased comfort in the winter and helped get my sky-high ConEd bill under control. Great company with friendly courteous workers. They came in and identified the problem quickly. Explained to myself and my husband what needed to be done to correct it. Gave us an estimate for the work which was reasonable. We agreed to the work and they came back the next day and completed the work that was needed. They also were very good about cleaning up after they worked. I would definitely recommend them.

Hidden costs and staff unwilling to work with clients on smaller projects. When times get tough key staff members get angry and lash out. Very unprofessional. If I could give them no stars I would.

Clover comfort is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to transforming a home into a temple of well being. To feel the balance a perfect day randomly brings a few days a year every single day in your own home is simply divine and comforting.
