If you ever want to present a good image to anyone for Valley Energy, you should send Frank and Hans. They are very neat, capable and pleasant. What a great technician Brian Brazie was when he responded to a callback situation at my house. He was talkative and explained everything that went on with the heating unit.

Our family has used Valley Energy (formerly Valley Oil) since they opened in the '50's. Fuel oil, gasoline, lubricants, and burner service for our home, office, and several farms. Always excellent service. I just bought 2 420 propane tanks from Valley for my new standby generator. The delivery of the tanks and generator hook-up was done right on schedule and the tanks were filled the next morning before I even got out of bed.
The Ambrose Electric crew that installed the generator (all that crew does is install generators every day of the week) told me they were quite impressed with the quality of the work done by the Valley Energy tech in making the hook-up. The original quote for the work was honored even though it was over 30 days old and prices had risen. A very reliable and honest company.

I have always found everyone at Valley Energy to be professional and responsive. We bought a new house and inherited a few issues, but they were able to come out for a service call the same day as scheduled to help get us straightened out. A good local business that also helps support community causes.

I switched to Valley Energy 3 years ago for their easy and trustworthy automatic service. Oil service in rural areas can be unnerving if a tank runs down and the roads or driveway are difficult to navigate. Valley is completely responsive to my concerns and has never once failed to provide me service during the time period I requested. I also use their boiler service program and have had 2 microsplits installed by them. I recommend them without hesitation.

Very unsafe, tried to take advantage of my ignorance on the furnace, technician produced harmful condition to sell me a new furnace. I had a kerosene odor which came on with my heating system. Since they were my supplier I called them and they sent a technician. He removed the burner to inspect, then put it back in. He then did a test to make sure that the heat exchanger was not cracked - that's all he seemed to do ( Which is important if you read the nest paragraph - he should, have checked the common cause of this condition, bad electrodes).
The technician said it wasn't yet but the furnace was near the end of it's life and should be expected to fail soon. He indicated that the kero smell was indicative of impending doom, and handed me some replacement estimates and left. After he left the smell was worse. I has a friend who was in the industry who I called and explained what had happened.
He came over and checked it out. What he found was: 1 the original kero smell was simply because the electrodes needed replacement. A $20 part which was to worn to be adjusted and was causing the flame not to be consistent. He indicated that the technician should be fired for missing this as it is what one looks for first under this condition. After this it worked perfectly, no kero smell at all 2: He also found that the Valley Energy technical also failed to tighten the burner he removed, and showed how loose it was, this amplified the kerosene smell that got into the house - this he said should be criminal as it is a health issue, but there is no way to tell if it was done intentionally.
From this point on I ended our relationship with Valley Energy, though they have tried to call a few times to find out why. They called many times to ask why, we left them, now they know. What they did was harmful, unethical, and just cruel.

I called four different oil companies today needing oil and Valley Oil was the only company out of four that didn't tell me "no" they were too busy ( even though I'm sure they were). Setting up the delivery and over the phone payment option was fast and convenient. They delivered as promised in a very timely manner. The delivery guy was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this professional company to anyone! Thanks again Valley.
