Emerald Heating and cooling were nothing but professional from start to finish. From the person i spoke to initially to the dispatcher to the technician. Technician was knowledgeable and courteous. 5 years ago on a Friday night in late October the temperature outside was freeeeeeezing, my boiler decided not to work any longer. Emerald heating and cooling was there for me. By Saturday afternoon I had heat.! Thanks to the entire crew that came out and replaced my boiler. I have been sold on them ever since.

I've used emeralds 4 times in 6 months now, 2 service calls (Alex and Will), 2 estimate (Justine), 2 installation: furnace & A/C (Doug and Kevin). All of their staffs I have encountered are professional, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I've over 30 yrs old furnace and A/c and it's not easy to remove and install them as I live in a townhome with very small space where the furnace located but their tech made it work.
I especially appreciate of their super quick response to any service call I've made, and extra kudos to their politeness. Price is also very reasonable with quality of work. That's why I keep going back to them. They made me feel I'm on good hands. I have already and will always recommend them to any of my friends

Service from Michael was great! Very nice person and informative about my system. Only thing I didn't like was that I had to "call back" at 3:00 p.m. when I called at 9:00 a.m. why couldn't they schedule me when I called the first time? Yes it was an emergency since I had no heat and temps are dropping and a storm is coming tonight. Didn't seem very professional with that requirement.

Amber was the tech who came to check our furnaces to ensure they were operating efficiently. She was amazing! She was personable, professional, and very informative. She not only evaluated both of our furnaces but also checked our humidifiers and explained why they weren't working well. She changed the drip filters and showed us how to turn humidity on for the winter and off for the summer. She was very clear when she explained things so that we understood. I would recommend Emerald Heating and Cooling and especially Amber as the best tech ever!

Emerald is a great company to deal with. I called this morning having an issue with my hot water tank. Within 4 hours Michael was at my house. He was very polite and professional. He assessed the situation quickly and told me what needed to be done. The appointment is set for first thing tomorrow. 3/19/2022 Finally able to send followup. The day after Michael assessed my hot water tank, Will came to install a new one. He was very personable & professional. Within a few hours I had hot water! He explained everything when he was done. Very satisfied with Emerald services & staff!

Joshua answered the phone when I called Emerald heating. He was very polite, friendly, and understanding. He was very concerned about my predicament. Alex was my service man and I couldn't ask for a nicer person, considerate, explained everything to us. It was an emergency call after hours. I will first start by saying Emerald is a top company. From the receptionist and mechanics to the technicians and owner, I have nothing but good things to say. We had Alex a technician out in 2021 for an AC tune up for the summer and with his crew they did a really great job. It gave us peace of mind that we were ready for the summer. The second job from Emerald was the installation of a combo tankless hot water and boiler system.
After installing there were a few issues that crept however Emerald was on it. That night they sent Alex the tech to figure out the computer issue on the unit and after he left, nice hot water! A couple weeks later Mark was back to button up the project and left me feeling incredibly thankful I hired Emerald for my heating needs. This company is highly recommended and I would absolutely hire them again.

Had a maintenance call for 2/18/22. Upon arrival, service tech Eric found that our furnace was not working. He immediately began diagnosing the problem and had it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Excellent experience with this company, and with Eric, and I would highly recommend them. Eric explained what he was doing, every step of the way.

Emerald Heating & Cooling were EXCELLENT! My furnace stopped heating the house and the weather outside was horrible with temperatures below freezing. They showed up on time and took care of the problem. I will likely have to replace my furnace very soon and I will definitely be giving them a call again for the job. THANK YOU EMERALD!

Will was the tech who showed up to install a new Lennox furnace from Emerald Heating. He worked alone and did a great Job. He had to fit the new furnace into the spot of the old one. He Had to make new duct work to mate the new furnace to our duct work. Very nice young man. He also was a USA Vet! We have used Emerald heating for the past few years or so and Have had no complaints, all the techs are Highly professional and very knowledgeable. VERY HAPPY with the service today, New furnace works great and we were only without heat for a short while. THANK YOU Emerald heating and Will.

I tried this company, as I like their radio ads - state honesty and quality service and family friendly to their employees. My service tech was running behind and customer service and tech kept me updated regarding his arrival and also offered to re-schedule. It was worth the wait. Great service by Sebastian, explained the cleaning and maintenance process and answered any questions I had. I signed up for a yearly maintenance agreement and look forward to having Emerald Heating as my HVAC company.

Emerald was great. I have them a call and explained the issue, wasn't an emergency or anything, water heater intermittent not working. Had a tech out the next day 3 hours before appointment time (they checked with me first if that was ok) and the tech diagnosed the issue promptly. Have been VERY pleased with Emerald's response and service calls on my two high-efficiency Amana systems since they installed them 8 years ago. Very impressed with their tech Alex, who was here today to fix a problem which turned out to be "one of a kind" and was preventing one of our furnaces from operating. Alex is obviously one of Emerald's best technicians, found the problem almost immediately, and got us up and running again very quickly. I will continue to have Emerald take care of our furnace servicing in the future; a very professional, "no BS" company!

I called Emerald at 8:45 in the morning to come and assist with getting my heat running in a house that we own. They answered the call professionally. They advised me they could have someone to the house by noon and that that person would call before coming. At 10:00 a.m. I received a call from the assigned technician who said he would be there in about a half an hour.perfect!
He got the system running. He advised me of parts that should be replaced to be sure we didn't have the same problem again and gave me an estimate of the price. When I inquired about full replacement cost he said they can have someone come out to give me an estimate. Within 15 minutes of his departure I had a call from someone in the office who said she could be over within an hour and she was! She provided me with two different options for replacement if I decide to go that way. Great timely courteous and professional service!

I had a wonderful experience with Mike M and Brian L. They showed up on time with a call just prior to arrival. Throughout the repair both were very professional, polite and stayed focused even in-spite of my small talk. They quickly diagnosed the main problem and noticed a "chattering" bearing on a motor. Two quotes were provided and it turns out all the parts were stocked in the truck. Great work, Mike and Brian! Let there be heat!

Four years ago my 84 year old neighbors boiler crapped out. needed one ASAP seeing it was late in October and extremely cold out and on a Friday. Emerald heating came through for her with flying colors and had come out with an entire crew on a Saturday morning and installed it and was up and running by late afternoon. UNBELIEVABLE! They were in dire need of heat and for a company to give such caring attention due to the many factors against them, gave me the true character of whom I was dealing with. Emerald comes out every year to check to make sure everything is in perfect working order. Emerald truly cares.

I can honestly say that Emerald is amazing. I called them back in February to get a quote for an air conditioner, from the first phone call I knew things would be good. I struggled to find someone who was willing to work on a manufactured home, even though its a brand new one. They worked with me to install the air conditioner on a day I already had off from work.
The two techs came and they were polite and non intrusive (which I was grateful for as I was finishing my masters thesis). They communicated every step of the way and I'd typically get nervous about the boss being called/showing up but they truly just wanted to know that their work was good. I am very happy with their work and they stick by their work.
They had to come back out once because the fan for the AC was extremely loud. No issues and they came out within a few days. Two more great guys and a simple fix. I highly recommend Emerald especially if you have a manufactured home!

The communication on who was coming to the house was probably the only good thing. My ac needed a tune up. However, when they showed up, they said there was leaks in my AC and it needed to be replaced. I was told to not use it at all and get some window units. I asked for a quote for a new unit. They suggested I ask for a permanent wall unit for 3 floors and a separate quote for a new 2 ton unit.
So they couldn't even quote on-site I had to wait for someone else. Since the unit couldn't be tuned, they had to change the order to a maintenance call. My expected cost went from $58 to over 100. Theu gave me a discount for being a first time customer so I had to pay $80 for 20 minutes of their time to tell me my ac is a dud. The servicemen didn't communicate all what I needed to the quote person either The cost for new unit would be $8-10k.
I ended up going elsewhere. The company I went for checked out the unit, confirmed it was dead (25 years old) and charged me $0 for an estimate instead of maintaince. The new ac unit is $3k cheaper too. I won't use Emerald again as I felt taken advantage of since I'm a woman.

We had a unit replaced last year on a property that we sold. Emerald called and asked if we wanted a 1 year check-up but also offered to apply it to another property, free. They checked my mom's heater and told her the heat exchanger was cracked. Gave her an estimate of $3500! They wouldn't show her camera proof or anything. Mom called in another company she's worked with before for a second option. Guess what. Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING, is wrong with her furnace. Stay away, and don't let them prey on your older relatives and friends.

Heard a humming sound in the house, thought it was electrical. Cut power to the house to see if it was electrical. Humming noise still present so electrician said it was furnace based. Emerald heating came out as they were the company who installed furnace and it is still under warranty. Two technicians, who were very friendly and courteous, could not hear the noise and said it definitely is not furnaces based.
Although the furnace is still under warranty, I was charged an $80 service fee for a ten minute visit. Furnace was not even touched or examined in any way. Just visually looked at. Extremely disappointed that I was charged a service fee for a visit that included exactly no work at all.

Very professional company. I had my furnace replaced in May as the old furnace had major issues and started on fire. This company came right out to see what happened that same day I called. WITHOUT a major wait! They were there inside of 1.5 - 2 hrs! During the whole process they were very professional and explained everything. They even followed up with a phone call about a week after the job was completed.
A couple weeks after that I had a concern and they immediately sent their man out to check out my concern of a noise I heard. Again a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied then, about 3-4 weeks later, I received a "Thank You" for my business with a mug with their logo! I thought their price was fair, their service excellent and their customer service was exceptional. It is rare now to find a business that is so concerned with the satisfaction of their customers. This company is truly exemplary.

Had 4 zone valves replaced. My mother was house sitting when they did the work. The copper pipes that come down from the ceiling came down to the manifold crooked. I called and they sent someone right out. They technician that came out was friendly and kept commenting on why the technicians that came out did what they did and was justifying the bad work done.
He straightened the pipes a little but wasn't willing to do what should of been done the first time without charging me more. Then it turned out he was the one that did the original work so he was lying to me for the 2-3 hours that he was there. Plus the zones they replaced one was brand new and disappeared in which the company hasn't called to tell me anything about it. The cherry on top was if I did all four zones they were going to do a free service call which hasn't been done. So I would not recommend this company.

I was going to give this company 5 stars but after they left and got a second opinion I only will give them 1. It is a joke. Quoted $4500 for air conditioner and circuit for my furnace. Then another company came in and for $217 fixed the problem. This is what I expected from this company they their technician just wanted to take the easy way out. Jiggle the pipe, make an assumption and tell me I need a new system.
Competition came out, cut the pipe, removed it, changed settings, and boom! Good as new. unreal. They were helpful for buying a new system, but no clue when it comes to troubleshoot. Never again! Update 8/17/16: Manager called me back and returned the service fee he charged me. He also informed me that he is sending his techs to classes because what happened should not have occurred. Very pleased with the follow up. This shows that what happened to me may have not been the norm. Bumped up 2 more stars because of this.

Fixed my problem, however, they do not apply their estimate fee (~$80) to the job. I understand that estimate fees are necessary to cover costs involved with losing bids on large jobs where there are estimates from multiple companies, however, they should be included when you choose them for the fix, especially when it's a small job. I shouldn't have to pay extra just because the guy they send doesn't have the time, equipment, or supplies to just fix it on the spot.
They did a great job, but I'm going to avoid them for small jobs in the future, it's ridiculous to pay $80 to have someone tell you they'll be back to fix your $200 problem.

Excellent service, customer care and promptness. I have used them for the past four years. Marty got me a great deal on my new furnace and remembered installing my new furnace, when I called them back out to clean my new furnace this past winter. Would highly recommend, efficient, reasonably priced and very knowledgeable!
