Terrible service i was a potential new business customer looking for a brand new unit with installation. The service guy was 30 minutes late, never called me. I called the business and stated where is your guy at and the lady tells me he's been out to the residence when i been in my car at the residence the whole time, and on top of that stated they called me twice which never received. Terrible i'll be going to Home Depot or Lowes.

These people saved the day when our furnace went out. They came to the rescue within hours and made the repairs quickly. The pricing was reasonable and fair. Thanks folks.

Quickly set up to have my Rheem ductless system installed. The crew that came was very courteous and efficient. They worked hard to get the units in. I am so happy I called them to do the job. I can't say enough good things about this company. I own an apartment building and have used them three times now. The first time they came, it was for one of my furnace units. At the time i had just moved here to care for my mother who was very ill and I had just bought the building so didnt have a lot of expendable income. They put in a factory refurbished unit for HALF the price and even agreed to bill me and let me pay in installments due to my situation.

The second time i had to call them was for another tenant's A/C that stopped working at the end of August when it was 99 degrees. I first called Homer 9 & Sons because they didn't charge for after hours calls and that was a huge mistake. The tech that came started telling me how i was probably gonna have to change out all of the HVAC units.

I told him i couldn't afford $10k and asked if there was any way to fix the broken one and he said definitely not, and that it would be $3,300 to put in a new one. He also said if i didnt purchase and book the installation right then, that i would have to wait a week to have it installed because there were no openings. When i asked if they had refurbished units he said no.

While he was leaving, my downstairs tenant mentioned his thermostat wasn't working so the tech went to look at it and told me to rewire it would be $165 but that if we cut out Homer 9, that he would go get one from their warehouse and do it for $60. He also gave me his cell phone and told me we could work something out if i called him direct.

He was very shifty and tbh it was getting dark and i didnt even want to be around him. So he did nothing that day but i had to pay $180 for his visit. The next day Homer 9 called and when i told them i would have to get a second opinion, they suddenly were available to install immediately. That sounded great to me, but in the interim i had already made an appointment with MAIER, so i told them i would call them back.

When Maier came, Jordan and Josh said they could get me a refurbished unit for $1200 but that they wanted to see if they could fix the broken one first. They said they had a fan in their van but they weren't sure if it would fit. They went to get it and confirmed that it was not the right size. However, they said that maybe they could cut it down to make it fit.

And after an hour and a half of prepping it, it worked! So i only had to pay $350! The third time i had to call them was one month later for my water heater that exploded. They came that same day and not only replaced it with a brand new one at $400 off (they were running a special), but they pumped out all the water and left the basement spic and span. Maier is a very ethical company and Jordan and Josh are so sweet, resourceful and kind that i think they should get a raise.

To make a long story short they came and fixed my heat and installed my thermostat after a few failed attempts by others. He was fast, friendly, on time, and did not try to rip me off like others try to do when you're a single woman and don't know anything about HVAC. Will be calling them again if I have any issues. They got my furnace running within one hour the longest part of the repair was getting the part not bad Alex was very honest helpful and professional will use the services again when needed

I cannot speak for everyone who works for this company, but the people who were sent to my parents' house were not vaccinated. The company did not mention this beforehand, the workers did not say anything before coming in, unmasked, to the home of two senior citizens. Who knows where else they've been? Is it our fault for assuming a business whose job is to literally spend hours in people's homes would take precautions to keep their workers and customers safe? Maybe. But why would you want everyone to automatically assume the worst of your company, instead of the best?

A shout out to Maier Heating and Cooling for excellent customer service, friendly staff and going the extra mile to make sure we know how to use the system and everything looks neat and tidy.

Maier was at my home in 2019 and tried to convinced me I needed to replace my furnace that I'd be lucky if it made it through the winter. Here we are 2021 and what do ya know, I'm not getting heat. So I call some places including Maier who all tried to convince me I would need a new furnace. I work in a similar kind of business, and while I may not be a professional I knew I didn't need a new furnace.

The pilot lit, I was getting air flow. Just no heat. The lady on the phone was pleasant and nice to speak with, however instanty they tried to tell me it would need replaced without assessing the situation currently. My parents would utilize them as well and they were terrible at keeping communication and returning calls or emails for service requests.

Instead we called Johnsons Heating & Cooling, they come out and fixed my problem within an hour and for cheap! Only a new part was needed. If you want to blow your money especially during these hard times, call Maier.

Hello Everyone, i know all of you look at reviews to determine if this business is worth reaching out too.so id like to share my experience with all of you, i am very real & just like all of you, i too was looking for good & quality work, and i again feel all of you, by looking for a contractor can be worry some, we all want quality work for the best price.and i couldnt be happier in choosing Maier!

My story begins a few weeks ago, i live in PA in the Beaver County area.my hot water tank started to make weird noises, not to mention it was taking long times getting hot water.id have to run the hot water like a minute before the water gotten hot. So i looked up my reciepts & after 13 years with that hot water tank, i decided to buy a new one! Keep in mind the tank still worked, but we all dont wana get caught on a day that we are in a hurry & it craps out on us before taking a shower.so i started my search of plumbing companies.

I looked up 4 companies.out of respect to 2 of the plumbing companies i searched, none called me back, so the hell with them (i wont mention names).i was down now to 2 finalists. The one company (i wont mention names) whom i called quoted me $978 total out the door for a new tank, removal of old tank, etc. Ok, that woman i talked too was nice & like we all think, great cheap price right?

So i looked at that companies reviews. YIKES.those horror reviews scared the hell outa me! Then i contacted Maier.i talked to a nice woman by the name of Christy, i told her my story & she was real cool to talk too.i informed her what i was looking for & she quoted me $1250.that price too was total out the door for a new tank, removal of old tank, etc. BUT BEIN TRUTHFUL to all u reviewers, Maier's reviews were more awesome!

Like my dad always said, u get what u paid for.so i called Christy back & i said ok, its a few hundred more dollars, but i like your reviews & sometimes goin cheaper ISNT the way to go.lets make an appointment & make this happen. Today a Maier installer by the name of Josh stopped out & he was such a cool dude, he explained everything in detail to me how a hot water tank works & gave me some pointers ONLY IF id like to keep annual maintence on it, like draining the tank, etc.lol but Josh did say if i ever needed him for the maintence, if any issues arise OR if i got any questions, i could give him a ring anytime.plus overall Josh was nice talking too, real down to earth guy.

Again reviewers, i could not be more happier with the service & quality work i gotten from Josh, his professionalism & care of installation & his care of my property not damaging anything was worth the couple extra bucks. In conclusion to everyone, give Maier a chance when looking for a new hot water tank, i mean it, its totally worth it, reach out & talk to them, you wont regret it. Josh mentioned they do Furnaces, heating & cooling, etc.haha the truth i already have a furnace guy i go too, BUT.if i ever lookin on getting a new furnace, i may reach out again to Maier & see what they have to offer. If all of you do give Maier a chance, request Josh, hes very good at what he does. I hope my experience helps ease your search for a plumbing company, good luck! :)

Super helpful. They didn't have the right part but untill we could get one they sold one that would work. Kinda pricey but when you have 0 heat in the winter. It's a huge help to pay more.

Maier Heating does great work. I will never use any other heating service company! Their customer service is outstanding. They do quality work and won't over charge you or make you pay for what you don't need. Highly recommend

Maier Heating & Cooling came out within hours of my call. They had my air conditioner up and running for way less than I thought it was going to cost. Brian was professional, knowledgeable and explained things every step of the way. Will not hesitate to call them again in the future!

I recently had a new electric furnace, A/C, and heat pump installed in a new location inside my home. Rob, Danny and their crew couldn't be any better. They are always professional and courteous. Their prices were fabulous and the promotional financing was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Rob and his guys are the best as is the office staff. They show up oon time and are very professional. They just installed a new whole house air conditioning system for me and did a terrific job. They left the site in perfect condition, I didn't have to do anything. Thanks guys, five stars for you, highly recommended.

They were contracted to replace AC units in our apartments, mine being one of them(two younger boys). I had to work the evening overnight of the day they came for a 16 hour shift at 7 months pregnant just to give some background. They were there ALL day from 8am to 6pm 10 hours for a simple install! I got no sleep for my shift and wasnt able to even eat or get my lunch packed for work til they decided to take their 2 hour lunch!

Even then i had to move everything they had sprawled all over my kitchen and apartment to even get anywhere. They even decided after lunch to blow up and clog my toilet. So i had to deal with their sh*t lliterally, twice. I even heard them bragging about how much money they will be making taking so long. Luckily i wasnt the one paying for it but it still caused a huge problem for me especially later in the year.

They even were what i assume was welding something and smoke poured into my room i couldnt breathe and being pregnant (which they knew cuz they saw me) that wasnt a good thing to breathe. I finally had enough and yelled at them about it(pregnancy hormones got the best of me) in 30 mins after yelling they were finally "done". As in a few months later when we had a huge rain storm water was pouring from the closet it is in all over the kitchen, practically flooding it!

They didn't seal around the unit in the outside wall! You would think if you milked the clock for 10 hours you would ATLEAST do your job correctly! They did this to 5 apartments that i know of. Im sure this business isnt always like this, because they wouldn't get business if they were, but the two young kids they had were the worst!

I've used Maier numerous times now and am so pleased with their work and fair pricing! They recently installed a new furnace, a/c unit, tankless hot-water tank and i had them clean my duct work. Their prices were far superior to the other bids i got and the work was great. My mom now uses them as well. I couldn't be happier.
