After working in the HVAC industry, Gary Baker, owner of Metro Comfort Systems, saw a need for a company with integrity and quality workmanship, and knew he was the man to provide it to central Ohio.The company started out specializing in installations of HVAC systems for custom home builders.
Metro Comfort Systems provides custom installations, equipment maintenance and service for nearly all makes and models of heating and cooling systems and can service existing homes as well as install systems in new custom homes. Metro Comfort Systems, Inc. is proud to use the following brands and products. We use high-efficiency units such as Comfort Maker, Carrier, Armstrong, Aprilaire, Bryant & Rheem. We also utilize state-of-the-art Germicidal UV light devices, which kill airborne mold, viruses and bacteria. As well as Aprilaire whole house humidifiers, and Space-Gard and Trion air cleaners.

Urgent service need with furnace inoperable in winter on a Friday evening with the family out of town. Jim responded to our message timely and Brandon was on site by mid-day Saturday to replace a capacitor and get the system running. Full explanation of the issue with transparency on the potential for other issues (older unit), however, no pressure or sales pitch to do more than was necessary to get the unit back online. Highly recommend and will make Metro our first call for any future work and/or replacement unit.

Great service. As mentioned on other reviews Jim is fantastic at providing service on short notice. However they are a little expensive, they replaced an HVAC fan which had burnt out and charged me flat rate of $690. I later found out that the part itself was only $99-$150 retail. So overall great service, just double check the price.

Want to thank Metro comfort for a great service. I called because our heat went out and Jim said he was booked until the following week but he would stop by that day. He came out and put a part in but he showed my husband he didn't think the part would work and would need a new furnace. We knew it was time for a new one and he set us up for the next day. Great customer service!

Our A/C went out over a weekend. When I called them on Monday morning they told me they would have someone out that afternoon. It turns out my A/C unit needed to be replaced but finding a unit might be difficult. They found a unit that afternoon but there was an additional part that they also needed. Jim was on the phone until 8:00 that night trying to locate the part needed.
He was able to find it and they had it sent to them to arrive by 11:00 am the next day. They sent out 2 guys to install the unit on Tuesday afternoon and my A/C was running again by 1:30 that afternoon. Superb! Cannot say enough good about Jim and Metro. Thank you.

I worked directly with Jim and he is an experienced professional who will shoot you straight and educate you on the details of what and why your hvac system needs a particular service. Called Metro on a Saturday morning to repair my A/C. I got a call back from Jim, said he could be there in a few hours. Jim was very knowledge, professional, courteous, and friendly. He arrived in the designated time frame and quickly resolved my issue. He also provided a number of tips and suggestions for improving the performance of my HVAC system. I would highly recommend Metro and plan to always contact them for any future repair needs. Also, I always try to support the local businesses here in Powell.
