Excellent service by Chris and his team. As soon as the Gas company installed the gas line from the road to the house, Central Comfort jumped into getting our new gas furnace installed in a timely and extremely neat manner. I will surely recommend Central Comfort on their great price and great job with our transition from oil. Their customer service from Chris and all of his team is truly appreciated

I truely highly recommend "Central Comfort" services to everyone. My central aircondition had stopped working for weeks during this heat wave generating 86 degrees in my home, unbearable. I called Saturday the office lady answering phones was wonderful tried walking me through to see if it were something I could fix but it turn out not. They were booked till next saturday however she was so considerate she ask for me to call back monday she was going to try to get me in for appt, going to talk to boss.

I called monday as she ask thinking there is no way they will fit me in. To my most surprise she said would tomorrow on Tuesday morning be good for you? I was so Greatful, Excited took the appt. Well Tuesday early morning Chris arrived. Such a wonderful, kind but very professional man. Came showed and walked me through everything that he found was wrong then discussed what he needed to do to fix it and price.

He had it done under 2 hrs. He set my new box for that he installed, programmed it and works fantastic! I took his buisness card and will be handing them out. Yes 5 stars for office support and service. *****

I bought a flipped house this year, and was dealing with our oil based water boiler tripping non-stop for the entire year. Our attempt to fix it with our home warranty did not go through because the unit wasn't actually broken, and it was almost impossible to get anyone from a HVAC company to come look at oil units. The water boiler was tripping every night when the weather got cooler, so I searched on Google for HVAC specialists and started calling them.

The first company sent me to voicemail, and never reached back out to me at all. The second company I called was Central Comfort, they picked up immediately and scheduled an appointment with me and gave me an initial quote for diagnostics and basic maintenance - I accepted it. The appointment time they gave me was in the late afternoon. The day came, and they rang my doorbell first thing in the morning, great!

The technician cam to inspect my oil unit, and was extremely helpful in explaining everything he saw, took a good look at my boiler and proceeded to do the routine checkup. I had replaced a filter and nozzle myself in the past, so they didn't force me to pay for replacement parts. He showed me all the wrong ways the boiler was installed and setup, showed me the tweaks he did to the air input, opened up the vent pipe that was previously sealed up, waited to test to make sure everything worked well.

He gave me a quote for new equipment (since I asked). He ended up charging me less than the initial phone quote because he did less work than the initial quote. It's been a few weeks now and the old water boiler has been running flawlessly without a single trip. He did warn me of the specific issues I was having, which needed the boiler to eventually be replaced soon, but I appreciated his insight. His honesty and integrity to his work impressed me and I will call them first the next time I need to service my HVAC and boiler. Thank you!

Wanted to charge $800 to replace a $26 part. Also wanted to replace a perfectly new thermostat for over priced $300 one. Dis honest. All their google reviews are from their family the Faust. This company is comprised of scam artists. DO NOT waste your time and money!

I called Central Comfort for a non emergency and Chris was out less than 24 hours later. He listened closely to our troubleshooting and then diagnosed the problem with our Lennox furnace in minutes. He was upfront with the cost of the repair and the work was complete within an hour. This company has excellent customer service and I would highly recommend them to my friends, family and neighbors.

All folks at Central Comfort were awesome! Honest, fair, friendly, and very knowledgeable are just a few of the adjectives I would use to describe our experience with Chris, Willy and the other people we interacted with. We've had some issues with our furnace going back a few years. The two previous times we talked them, they helped get our furnace running and gave of some peace of mind with taking a dollar from us.

When our furnace finally quit after two years, they quickly scheduled an install and had us heated again within a day and a half including all the necessary paperwork for rebates and NJR financing. Family owned and operated.

0 stars. They installed our brand new system 3 years ago and still to this day we have problems. The thermostat will be set to 75 and it won't go past 65 on cold days. This is a brand new HE furnace that should not be happening. I won't call them anymore because if their hostile attitude. Stay away.

0 stars. Stay away! They charged for parts they never replaced. When provided with the proof they become sarcastic and hostile. Had to pay an honest plumber to actually do the job which means paid twice for one part. Very sad.

I called Central Comfort to address an air conditioning problem. Willie came and did a leak search and replaced refrigerant for a bill of $1376. Three weeks later I had no air conditioning again. I called the office after hours and never got a call back until late afternoon the next day. When I couldn't get through to anyone during office hours in the morning I decided to call another company.

This company responded immediately and the first thing that was done was an attic inspection where the leak was found. Willie never went up in the attic. The problem was resolved by another company. Had he gone up on his first visit the problem would have been discovered and I would not have been out $1376. I sent a letter to him to let him know how I felt asking for a refund for refrigerant that was not necessary.

Also to let him know that at the very least a phone call in a timely manner would have been appreciated. There was never any response. It is a year later and I haven't heard anything. Am I surprised? Not at all after reading other reviews it has only validated my feelings.

The whole company is a joke and all they want is to extort money out of people. It started well - lots of promises and smiles. So we signed their agreement that included installation of gas equipment and a new AC unit, paid the deposit, agreed to ordering the equipment, set up an application with NJ gas and submitted our application for the $6,500 credit.

Then everything changed. The owner knew we needed an AC unit installed as soon as possible as we were already in the middle of June and I was due with a baby in 3 weeks, he knew we had everything set up so what did he do? He called us and said he realized that he needed more money in cash from us or he was not going to install anything until September.

We referred to the signed contract and previous discussions but he continued to be firm and said he wouldn't do any work until we give him an additional $2,500 in cash. This was not even a matter of money. We felt he abused the situation as we had gone through all of the key steps and needed functional equipment as soon as possible. We decided not to give him any of our business despite the urgency and all of the time lost and recommend that you follow suit and search for a more reputable and customer focused business.

Willy gave us a good price for a used boiler. he asked us for cash without giving a proper contract. During our communication, I said many times I want a proper contract with detail of what he would do. he kept saying "I won't sign any contract with u, tell me what you want, I will add a few words in the work order ".yes, They will have you to sign a work order without a detailed proposal plan or contract from their own website.they told me that is how this field works. are you kidding me. we get very professional proposal and contracts from other plumbers. in their work order (they call that contract), they simply put less than 50 words, call it "the contract" and have you signed the website I have never heard of.

I am glad I asked him to put word in the note that : only after we give the deposit to start this work. why? because we want to meet them in person, go through the detail and then handle him the deposit, then give him a GO to start the work. however things did not go well. They removed our heater and boiler before the meet up because, according to him. "I trust you guys".SO without informing me about he actually went to work there and without our 1st meet up, they removed our boiler and heater.while we were trying to resolve the disagreement and write a new order, I asked him to write "No hidden terms" on the website I am signing." They want to add a annual service check up for 250$ per year. since the experience with them was bad enough, I do not want to use them annually. there were tons of nice plumbers in this area. why should we use them? because we do not want take this annual check up with him. he refused to work the plan out and told us he would roll back what they have worked.----the next day when our new plumber guy come to winterize the house. he found that our basement is locked and the key is not in the lockbox anymore, also they found our removed broken boiler and heater are thrown right at our entrance.

Yes they break it and throw them rigjht there. without the key, the new plumber could not winterize our house on Tue, the coldest day. I called Central comfort for the key, but they told me they could not find Willy and will get back to me about the key later. right, they could not find their own guy. no response in 24 hours.the worst is yet to come. we found out there are 3 big holes drilled in our heat pipes.

I am not gonna say anything here about who did what. but I swear to god, ,,t hese holes were not there before Central comfort comes (we have evidence from another plumber company) and we have picture, taken by the new plumber guy, shows the new big holes drilled found yesterday. we had the house lock changed and called guys to install safety camera in the house today. in the whole process, i was yelled, threatened to the court and I feel being bullied. and now we are preparing legal actions against this company.they told me if I sue them, they will sue me for breaking the contract. sorry, the contract already said. deposit is required to start the work.before that, we have not even officially authorize you the right to get to our house and start the work. is that also a trespass? if you ask me would I recommend them?

I would say, , please run away. I am really regret that to save that $1000, we decided to go with this cheaper bid from them.now we had to spend at least 5000 more just to repipe everything. plz do your self a favor, do some research in the area and find the right one for u.

Chris and Taylor and Willie were amazing! They knew the products completely, the customer service was excellent, they were clean and neat and a pleasure to work with! The price was the best out of 5 different companies and they gave me a lifetime warranty! I highly recommend this wonderful family business!

I highly recommend Central Comfort for both high competence and honesty, both are unfortunately rare these days. I had a problem with a brand new furnace that would not start up. I had a contractor for one of the home improvement stores come to my house on a promotion to "tune up" the furnace. The contractor sent two techs who spent a while fiddling with it to no avail.

Finally they said components are fried, it would cost too much to repair, and there is little chance that the furnace would ever work reliably because it is one of the worst brands in the industry. Instead they recommended that they install a new furnace for me ASAP. Their sales guy came over and tried using high pressure sales tactics, but I told him that I would be getting another quote from a highly rated local company.

I called Central Comfort and explained my situation to them and that I needed a quote for a new furnace. They suggested that instead of rushing into an expensive reinstall that it might be cheaper to fix such a new furnace and they will check it first. I called them in the late afternoon and they had their tech in my house first thing in the morning.

He quickly diagnosed the issue and had the furnace running in minutes. He tuned the furnace which both the original installer and the big box store contractor failed to do. He explained some of its features and placed a sticker with information for any future service tech. What they charged was very reasonable and they saved me thousands of my hard earned money that the other contractor wanted to hassle out of me. I will only call Central Comfort from now on if I ever run into an issue with my furnace. I also told my friends and coworkers about them. I could not be happier.

I could not get past the person who called me back for an estimate. she made every excuse not to do a gas conversion, then I said if you don't want to do it then don't, and ended the call, she had the guts to call me back and tell me how rude I and my neighbor was. then she informed me that she would never relay the message. central comfort, you may be a great company, but the people representing you obviously suck. for several minutes she danced around giving me an approximate estimate indicating it would be 10,000 plus, but would not even offer that. which I find frightening since my neighbors are getting estimates for half that. sorry to say, your number or should I say hers is blocked, I will never do business with a company that uses such rude people

I am still shocked about the service, or better, luck of service of this company, they came few days ago to repair our furnace, changed a piece, charged over $900. The furnace worked few hours then stopped. We slept the whole night in the freezing cold. They came the following day, made what they called a temporary fix and ordered another piece. They came few days after, changed this piece, charged us $600 more and the furnace worked until 10 pm of that day.

When we called with them the following morning their answer was "we can't come, we are fully booked, call someone else!" When we questioned the service the answer was "staff breaks!" After a very unpleasant conversation they offered to void the second check, we asked for a total refund. We asked them to return pieces and money, they said the don't have the pieces anymore, .it was the most sad experience of my life, from every pint of view.
