We are so pleased with the service we recieved from them. We had our carbon monoxide alarm go off after Christmas They came out immediately! Our old furnace had a crack in it, so he disconnected it right away. We made it thru the next couple days with our fireplace insert. They were here right away with 2 guys within 3 days! They were awesome! Thank you, thank you Bremer and Bouman for your awesome response and customer service! We are so happy with our new furnace. Highly recommend them!

I was sorely disappointed with the service we received back in the summer. The Fan Motor on my unit broke and I had booked an appointment with another service company but was recommended here because it would be several weeks until they could install the new motor. The tech that came out didn't listen to any of this, told me we needed parts that the other company had tested, said they didn't know what they were doing, then claimed he ordered a new motor and would return the next day to replace it.
He never came back. I called 7 times over 3 months and left several messages that never got returned. The only time I got a call back was when they were hounding me for the $70 service call fee which I refused to pay without hearing back from them. When I asked why I never heard back otherwise, I got no answer. And I was told the service tech lied to us because he put down that we needed and entire new HVAC unit.
That's not a communication error, that's downright dishonesty. I've had the fan motor replaced since then with a different service and it fixed the issue immediately, but not before wasting weeks of time sitting around wondering if Bremer & Bouman would even call me back to say they weren't coming back.

I always call Bremer and Bouman and they always do a great job! So polite and thorough, i had Luis and he was awesome! But over the coarse of 4 years in my house ive had two other guys that were great too. Anyone you get will be great. And they wont tell you that you need something that you dont, they are very integral. My fixes have been loose wires, cleaning the igniter, small things. Thank you Bremer & Bouman for hiring fantastic people!

Very happy with the service I was provided today. Incredibly prompt with their initial response to my inquiry on their website. A couple hours later 2 friendly guys were here and fixed a very complicated issue I've been trying to overcome w/ my furnace for a couple weeks now. The repairs required replacing a couple of major components which they were able to acquire and replace within 1.5 hours upon their arrival. I couldn't hope for or expect better service. I am so grateful and very warm!

This morning before work for a 12 hour shift on a Saturday, I woke up to a cold house and a furnace I couldn't get working. I called Bremer and Bouman at 7:50 and they had staff already there to take my call! I was pleasantly surprised. The gal took my information, a technician named Brandon contacted me, and my furnace was fixed before 10:30. Fantastic service! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I've done business with Bremer & Bouman for just a couple years. First time I called them was when my furnace didn't light. They came right out and fixed the issue quicker than I anticipated. They even fixed a part I broke trying to fix it myself and didn't make fun of me. Fast forward a little bit and this time my furnace is at the end of life. They came out and worked hard to make sure it was in need of replacement before giving me the bad news. Went through them to purchase the replacement furnace and air conditioner.
It's hard probably to get excited about replacing a furnace but the way they surveyed the house and made recommendations on what to buy was great. The proposal was easy to accept. The installation went very smooth. They had to do extra work because I was going from a less efficient system to a more efficient system. The care they showed the equipment and the house was more than I expected.
Even color matching the exhaust vent to my siding perfectly really impressed me. Something else unexpected, they helped with energy rebate programs which made filing that paperwork even easier. I had some additional questions after the install once it got colder and had a chance to break everything in. From the office staff to the service staff everyone was very kind and very easy to talk to.
I think this is a great company to do business with and I feel very comfortable that if I have any issues with heating or cooling going forward I will be taken care of. Thanks to everyone I had the pleasure of working with at Bremer & Bouman.

I have never written a review before because I have never felt this dissatisfied with a service. Bremer & Bouman either incorrectly diagnosed my boiler and decided that was a lot of work with little profit or knew the fix was cheap but wanted to make more money off me. They tried much harder to sell me on upgrading my whole system than correctly diagnosing my boiler system.
I ended up fixing the boiler myself and all it needed was a $7.00 thermocouple. Also, I got a second estimate from another local company, did some online research and found Bremer & Bouman was overpriced in comparison. They also billed me $65 when they had said a service call was free of charge. I didn't end up doing any business with them. When I called their customer service and confronted them about the bill and their incorrect diagnoses they said that changing out the thermocouple wasn't an option because that wouldn't have brought my boiler up to "code".
None of that was ever said to me. In fact after I received quotes for upgrading my boiler system I replied asking for the price just to fix my current system and they never responded. When I told the customer service person I had the e-mails to prove that happened he dropped his defense about my system not being to "code" said he would wave the service fee then hung up the phone on me without another word.
