We contacted Sun Heating & Cooling for the semi-annual maintenance program. Aaron W. work, professionalism, and efficiency were exceptional! It's great to have a highly qualified professional working on the maintenance of our HVAC unit. Worth mentioning, we thought the safety switch needed replacement. During the maintenance, it turned out it was simply disconnected. Aaron is professional with high integrity and work ethic. Because of that, we immediately recommended him to our other family member and Sun Heating & Cooling gain another account.

Good company. Had a small hiccup with the installation but Sun was responsive and completed the job extremely well.

They came out to do regular maintenance on my furnace. After 2 minutes the apprentice told me to come downstairs and look at something. He was being trained by the technician, (Ash). The tech Ash showed me a picture of my heat exchanger. He stated it had a crack in it. He proceeded to shut my furnace down. I asked him to not do that, without any further testing.

He was adamant and started to push a new furnace on me. I told him that was something I could discuss with the office. One picture wasn't satisfactory to me. He didn't comply, and disabled my furnace. For 10 years I had used this company. They had always been very efficient and respectful. I was without heat for eight days in the middle of winter.

I will avoid this company in the future. I did get a second and third opinion. The second opinion I received was interesting. He thought the pictures might not be from my furnace. However, I had to get a new furnace and I'm done with the furnace situation. My heating was perfect and I didn't have any issues with carbon monoxide. The cracked heat exchanger seemed very questionable to me. I have a carbon monoxide detector in my home and it never registered any kind of reading. It just takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch.

I want to thank Sun Heating for sending out Jordan M. to replace my humidifier. He additionally helped solve our problem, by suggesting that we use a more efficient and responsive thermostat! He was very professional, and very knowledgeable about the best way to fix our humidity problem. He was patient and did an excellent job installing our humidifier and thermostat.

I had a fantastic service call from Ulysses today for furnace maintenance. Previously I had fantastic service from Ash and then Dallas. I gave it one star because I had to. If I could, I would have given it zero stars. Service tech came out, was very unclear about what was needed, left us believing that we needed a new furnace. Was going to charge us $1500.00 labor on a warranty item. We got it done for $200.00 elsewhere. Will NEVER use, recommend or refer them to anyone I want to keep as a friend. When I received a call back the supervisor/manager didn't even have the decency to call me.

We had a wonderful experience with John at H.A. Sun Heating & Cooling. He went above and beyond to fix our issue. When it appeared the problem was resolved, he dug a little deeper to fix another issue that was hidden. He even took the time to explain to me how to adjust the vents and air circulation in the future. Highly recommend him and this company!

Stephen gave us exceptional service. He was thorough in his maintenance of the unit and in his explanation of everything he was looking at and for in terms of its health and longevity, even resetting the thermostat for us and explaining its time settings and showing me how and when to adjust the humidifier. There is no question that Stephen loves his work and job and reflects a dedication to excellence all around.

A Sun Heating technician was scheduled to arrive between 10 and 1 today. At 10am on the nose my front doorbell rang. It was the Sun service tech. I invited him in and he introduced himself. We spent a few minutes discussing my concerns and he went to work on my two zone furnaces. He was here to do general maintenance and it was the first time Sun has been my service company. Well, I am happy to report that my tech was absolutely fantastic.

He was thorough. He was extremely polite. He was wonderfully trained and he found a number of issues that needed attention. When he left my home I was completely satisfied that the work had been done properly and expeditiously. Great company and a truly FANTASTIC technician.

Amazing service! I called this morning (Saturday) because of a concern about my furnace and John was at my house at 9am. He was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. Sun Heating and Cooling review; I needed diagnostic test of my heating and cooling system; SH&C had great marketing (I LOVE THOSE GUYS!) and I contacted them to do my analysis; The guys who came over for an "inspection" of my furnaces were really nice guys; Charlie was a trainee who I wish a great future and success. His trainer; Ash; another very nice man.

The reason for service call was because one furnace did not kick on. Upon arrival I was informed that the $89 check up was for 1 furnace and since I have two; it's a double fee. Okay. Analysis was a blown fuse in one furnace which was replaced. But upon further inspection, the blower motor had "blown a seal" and leaking oil! I was asked to decide fixing now or later; HOW MUCH? "Well, you know that COVID has doubled all prices" and your blower motor replacement including labor is $965.

Plus the inspection fee of $200; but that included the fuse replacement fee of $22. (75 cent retail) After review of the universal blower motor scooter replacement, $107 I opted to decline. Be careful for paying for advertising campaigns. I called the company that installed the HVAC system seven years ago; blower is covered by warranty; but if it wasn't; $450 replacement. Very disappointed.

Our AC had completely died about 2 weeks ago and these days we've had temps in the high 80s outside, we were anxiously waiting installation for a new unit. Travis and Ricky came out this morning arriving promptly at 8 as we were told. They were friendly, polite, professional, no fuss just working away at getting the top part of the furnace completely replaced and the vacuum pump outside too.

It was a FIVE hour job given the complex setup we had here, and they were even cognizant that I had meetings I was attending from home. The AC has now been running for over an hour and is much more effective than what we had from the previous setup. I am Highly satisfied with the quality of work from Travis and Ricky, thank you guys! Will definitely recommend Sun Heating and Cooling.

Dependable service. I've used Sun for 25 years and they do a great job. I've been happy with their maintenance of both my heating and A/C. I recently purchased two new furnaces and the guys came in, did the job, cleaned up and all is well.

Came out to service a 3 year old AC unit that another company had installed, and been dealing with issues for THREE YEARS, and found the issues and repaired them right away. It took him less than an hour to diagnose, and come up with a plan. About another hour to take apart the unit and fix it. (That another company couldn't figure out after installing it improperly, THREE YEARS ago.) We also initially requested a quote for a Space Pack style unit for our second story and we were promised we wouldn't need it now that the AC was working properly.

I was very skeptical, but now even our master bedroom is 67° when the thermostat reads 67°. Plus the AC unit is no longer grinding or stalling. We should have called Sun first. Learn from my mistake!

Henry Abrams is a true gentleman! My mom was having some issues, plus she has cancer so she couldn't breathe well, Sun took care of my mom and she is so happy! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Sun heating provides a wonderful service. When I contact them they are very responsive. The staff is well trained and very professional. If I have any concerns they are always available to answer my questions as well as explain what is needed for anything to do with my heating and cooling. Their prices are fair and their staff are experts in their fields. I have used others before sun and have not received good customer service. With Sun. Their customer service excels

Do not contract with this firm if you want fair pricing. You will be gouged 100% of time. I did research after the fact, even had conversation with the manager to discuss my findings on cost of parts vs. what I was charged. We as Customers understand we need to pay for time it takes. However they will charge you 4x the time it takes. They have no interest in doing the right thing estimating an "up to" an amount, only justifying their premium pricing policy where they charge everyone the maximum amount of time it will take. My $150-200 job cost us over $600. Unfortunately when your heat is out, you do not have time to shop around.

Good Evening, I met Henry back in the early years when he was first learning the heating and cooling business, I was building homes in the Detroit area, and then he and another gentleman opened up Sun Heating and Cooling, Henry became a major player in this business, for a few reason, (a) his workers showed up when they were scheduled, (b) there prices stood firm, and (c) He did what he said he was going to do.

And then last but not least Henry was honest, and in this industry a persons word is everything. And with all the building that was going on Henry and Fred's (his Partner) business grew leaps and bounds to a full fledge heating company, with the most fantastic employees, All in all if you want good service, from a reputable company, You know this in H A Sun Heating and Cooling.

Sun always comes through for us! Air conditioning breakdowns, call Sun, furnace crisis, call Sun. Never uncomfortable for long! Very professional and friendly staff.

A+ service and results! My furnace stopped heating on a cold Sunday morning and Sun got to my house in less than 15 minutes. The technician quickly identified the issue and put a temporary fix in place while the new part was being ordered. Sun called me to schedule the appointment as soon as the special order part came in. The tech arrived at exactly the time they said he would (12pm on the dot). Overall very attentive and efficient!
