We bought a Big Green Egg Grill from them. They delivered it, set it up and explained (with a demo) how to use the grill. Very professional and answered all our questions. Thanks Jake and Scott!

Had Steinhardt install a new Carrier 95% Gas Furnace and 2 Ton AC system back in December. Dan and Tommy were quick, efficient and knowledgeable. They were also conscious of our pets as they came and went. Everything has worked great and we have even seen our utility bills lower since the new equipment was installed. They even filed for a gas rebate on my behalf! Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Steinhardt's. I requested a thorough duct work cleaning, and installation of the Halo air purifier. The technicians were prompt, clean, and courteous. Critical: Professionalism On 2 different occasions ( months apart ) I was given a 4 hour window of when they would show up. They didn't show, and didn't call. This seems to be a running theme for this company. They said they called to reschedule - but I never got the call or the voicemail. Service: Heating system repair

Steinhardts took great care of us with our new home. The installers were top notch and answered any questions we had along the way. The technicians have also been more than great! Very poor. Came out furnace ran about 2 days and stop again. No heat temperature at night below freezing. Then want to charge another service call. Call from another city service people to work on your home.

I called asking to buy a replacement gas log kit for my fireplace which turned into a 10 minute conversation on a $6000.00 installation.

The answering service assured us the technician would call us, we never got a return call. I do not recommend this company, and would like to give them no stars!

When we moved into a house in Madison we called one of Steinhardt's competitors to start-up our propane gas fireplace. They said something was wrong with it but couldn't figure out what it was. We then called Steinhardt and their man, Alex, immediately found the problem (dirt in the gas line), tested everything out and then took time to show us how the system works and how to maintain it. The next time we need heating or A/C service, we know who to call: Steinhardt.

I had Steinhardt come to my home to repair my AC furnace. I was told $80 to diagnose. They charged $116.25 And didn't repair anything. Then called me this morning with a cost of $1049.01 to order/purchase a motor and it was going to take 3-5 days to deliver. In this 95 degree weather. I found out that a company in Louisville has 7 of those motors in stock today.

So I go personally to another electric company. And the owner replaced my motor at 1/3 the cost. $343.30 for the motor and labor. The OWNER! That's the kind of service you should receive. I would never recommend Steinhardt. I will never call them again! Bad service! Bad business! The cost is outrageous! DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE!

Hands down my go to HVAC folks! Everyone here is knowledgeable, friendly and the service is A+++. The only hvac company I trust with my home needs! Plus the prices are fair and the maintenance agreement saves you money! So win win!

We have had a maintenance agreement with Steinhardt Heating and Cooling for several years now. They are professional, friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. It gives us peace of mind to know that the safety and comfort of our home is being maintained by professionals. Eric Weatherbee has come the last couple of service calls and has done a nice job. The entire staff has met our approval.

I drove 2 hrs from where I live to hire Steinhardt Heating & Air Conditioning to install the Regency L14 Direct Vented Gas Fire Place insert their workmanship and customer support is outstanding. They did their homework measuring the BTU gas requirement in my house and i stalling this Regency unit where no other company within my immediate 2hr drive range would sell and install this Regency Gas unit its worked flawless over the past 4yrs.

The fire place insert vendors in the Louisvilley Lexington, Ky markets only wanted to install their inferior brands, I did my homework and insisted on the Regency gas unit and Steinhardt was the only company that carried the exact unit that I wanted. I'm glad I took the long drive to hire the experts at Steinhardt in Hanover, In. They know their trade well and support their installations 100%. Thank You Steinhardt Heating & Cooling you have a loyal customer.

I called around 5pm on a Sunday and within 10 minutes I got a call back from a technician. Within the hour he was here. He figured out what was wrong, got a part ordered on Monday, it came in and he was here by 10:30am Wednesday to fix our AC. The technicians name was Chad and he was very polite, friendly, professional, courteous and very skilled at what he does. Not to mention the repair cost less than what I had guessed it would! I couldn't be happier! Thank you Chad!
