Technician made no attempt to diagnose the problem to confirm the order of a bad faucet. Turned out the faucet was fine and the screen on the washer was almost blocked. Also wanted to charge me $295 to replace the twist-on filter on my water tap. The filter cost me $35 after I told him not to bother.

I recommend going elsewhere. I had a clogged kitchen sink. I called first thing in the morning and they responded quickly. But I am very unhappy with the service. First, the plumbers who provided the service could not get the snake to go around the corner. Other plumbers have not had this problem. This led to a doubling of the price to put a Y-pipe at the end of the drainage pipe. But the best part is that after charging $500, the fix lasted less than 7 hours. From nothing more than doing dishes!

We've used Heidler for a number of projects and have been very happy with their service. They have replaced water heaters, repaired sewer lines and replaced gas logs. They are very responsive to phone requests and the owners often come by to check the work. We did have one issue during the sewer line replacement but they fixed the situation at their own cost. hey have a great name in Annapolis and we are glad we use them when needed.

We have used Heidler for a number years from replacement of systems to emergency repairs. At our home they have installed a new tankless hot water heater which has reduced our gas bills. They also installed a new heating and air conditioning system with electrostatic filter and a ultraviolet germicidal filter during the early days of Covid 19. Recently we had Heidler renovate two bathrooms by replacing a bathtub with a walk-in shower in one bathroom and replace the shower door and vanity in another. Heidler designed the changes, quoted the job, and assigned a project manager who worked with us through completion of the project.

The manager, Monica, coordinated and scheduled all the trades including demolition, carpentry, plumbing, tile work, painting, and glass/shower doors. She kept everything moving and kept us informed on the status of the job and when to expect each crew. We have received many complements as result in both bathrooms is beautiful. All projects Heidler has done for us have resulted in great improvements to our home. Heidler can handle all types of plumbing and heating and air condition projects from small to large using skilled plumbers and technicians. I highly recommend Heidler for any type of plumbing, Heating and Cooling or Bathroom remodeling needs.

It blows my mind how this company has so many positive reviews. I'm not one to leave reviews but after the second time I spent an arm and a leg for a service and not only didn't get my problem resolved but had to pay more money for someone else to resolve the issue, I figured it was time to speak up. I called Heidler a few years ago to fix my AC unit.

I was charged $400 for the "repair" but there was still a problem with the AC. I called and called trying to get either someone to come back and actually fix the problem or get my money back and finally they just stopped taking my calls. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when I was in a bind and needed after hours service for a leak in my basement.

I was charged $225 for some very unhelpful disengaged tech to come out and barely check anything just to say there's no problem. What? The paint is bubbling in my basement and the ceiling is literally leaking. He tightened a random tiny pipe in the upstairs bathroom and proceeded to say that was the cause meanwhile there's piles of water in the basement.

It made no senses When asked to look at the washer a floor up, he glanced quickly, touched nothing, said it looked fine and was eager to collect payment. The following day I had someone else come out who once realized it wasn't a pipe in the bathroom, he flipped the washer upside down and right there in plain sight was a broken pipe. He said the problem was very obvious. Heidler provided terrible service not once, but twice. My fault for even using them a second time. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Perfect Timing! Boy, did I ever luck out! I have been procrastinating for the last two years since Heidler first installed a replacement sump pump in my basement. I have been wanting to get a battery back-up for the unit. Finally pulled the plug and had them come out on Monday, August 30th. The technician was promptly on time and tackled the fairly tricky installation (in the tight corner of my basement).

He did a great job. Wouldn't you know it, but two days later, a tornado struck Annapolis and went right over our neighborhood. My house sustained lots of outside tree, fence and siding damage. We were fortunate that power was only lost for about 30 hours. However the night of the tornado, with no power, it continued to rain and the sump continued to work! My basement remained dry! I am so thrilled and pleased that my timing was great and that Heidler promptly came out and did an excellent job! Highly recommend them!

Chuck from Heidler came to replace a severely leaking outside faucet. He was very professional and friendly. Wasn't disturbed by my 4 barking dogs. He was fast and efficient. It wasn't an easy fix and required removing drywall and some ceiling tiles. He was very neat and cleaned everything up when he finished the job. It wasn't cheap but I'm pleased with the results.

Always reliable. Returned from a long absence due to Covid to our condo I needed to have our main drain snaked. Quick response and excellent service.

You will not get a more friendlier and competent staff as you will with Heidler. We've been using them for our home for the last 6 years, the previous owner of our home did as well. They are helpful, honest, and accommodating. Every experience has been easy, quick, and helpful. We intend on being customers for life.

Well, this company recommend me installing Navien tankless water heater, which ends up sucking of a lot of $$ for fixing problems/services. The company repeatedly saying "we never had this type of problem before.". Sometime they come over, and could not fix it, but just taking service fee. The worst incidence was 4yr ago; the water heater burst hot water in the middle of winter day. Luckily we had one person left at home to shut down the units, otherwise, we would've gotten flood. it was horrible.

Last year, units had problem to ignite fire. Company came twice and could not find the solution! After 2nd failure of company's fixing, I finally looked youtube and figured out how to fix it by myself (which is replacement of mother board). Then, this year, after their annual de-scaling and fixing minor leaking, units got stopped working again.

I mean what kind of company push the customer buying this problematic water heater, saying "this is a great product, we never had major problem, and last very long!" Are you kidding? At least, I gave a lot of grant. just bad company. Rated 1 star.

Our hot water heater died. The manufacturer refused to send us a replacement part even though it was under warranty. So we called Heidler for an estimate on a new water heater. Then, at the last minute, the part arrived by FedEx. Josh from Heidler fixed our water heater during the appointment we scheduled for the estimate and saved us at least $1,000 if not more.

I called Heidler on Friday night when suddenly a leak appeared in the C-PVC piping above the Heidler gas-fueled boiler that heats the water for our home including the water for our heating system (we have an older home with the type of radiators that have hot water running through them). The drip was so severe that we had to turn off the water main.

So we were facing an entire weekend with no water. unless we got emergency service ($$$$). At 9:05 PM on Friday January 10th, I called Heidler's number and got their answering service who told me that their emergency service stopped at 9:00 PM and did not start up again until the next business day (so, Monday, I said -- and she said "yes"). I was surprised to hear of an emergency service that didn't cover 2 days out of 7.

I pushed back but she insisted that this was correct. On Saturday morning, I was able to find a plumber who could come out, from HORIZON Services of Windsor Mill, MD. The plumber removed a piece of c-pvc of about five inches wide and installed a new piece, with a new brass connector ($7 at the Home Depot) on either end. The job: cut a piece of old a pvc pipe out, cut new pvc piece, pop in the two brass connectors. Done.

Total tab: just a few dollars short of $400. I'll let the reader be the judge of this price. Now that I've seen the job done, I know can do this myself in less than half an hour. Called Heidler on Monday to let them know what happened. I was told that they do provide emergency service on weekends -- what their answering service told me was wrong.

They would have come out on Saturday had I called them back the next morning. My comment to Heidler's ownership is that at least one of the staff members at their answering service does not appear to have the correct information to give to Heidler's customers. Els Weeg at 4438140764

Heidler installed my hot water tank several years ago. They did a great job. I recently had an issue with a leaking shower so I contacted Heidler who came out and fixed the leak, which was due to corrosion of the pipe that joins the shower head to the main line inside the wall. The corrosion was extensive but Josh was up to the challenge and removed the corroded pipe threads from the fitting.

Due to the corrosive nature of my well water, I asked for a return visit to change the brass fittings, gage and ball value on my well's pressure tank, as well as install a new kitchen faucet. Heidler provided a fair quote and I had Josh return, who did a "fantastic job" and was very careful not to make a mess. Each time I have used Heidler, I have found their staff to be professional, polite and very knowledgeable.

Our hybrid water heater died and we called Heidler, really based on dissatisfaction with other area plumbers. We were immediately pleased by the same day response from service and then especially impressed by the dedication of the technician to work with the manufacturer to resolve the problem. All around a very positive experience.

Just another company writing their own favorable reviews. Do not trust the 5 star reviews. They have their friends and acquaintances writing those. If you hire them now and they rip you off you have no one to blame but yourself.

The last time they were an hour later than the scheduled 2 hour window. This time, it's 25 minutes past the 2 hour window and I'm told it will be at least another 45 minutes. While they do a great job, their lack of consideration for one's time is greatly concerning.

Super easy process and got our gas fireplace up and running in no time! They have a great special that includes total cleaning and inspection. The technician was knowledgeable and prompt! All around great experience.

An estimate was carefully prepared and discussed with us prior to the start of the work. The job was completed exactly as described, the bathroom was left perfectly clean. The technician answered all questions thoroughly and was extremely polite to us and our dogs. The price was a little high but knowing the job was done right was worth it.

We've use this company in the past and we have yet to be dissatisfied. They are prompt, they are courteous and they clean up after themselves. It's nice to know that you can trust that they'll do a good job.

Tech showed up on time. Did his job and located the problem. I was charged $80 service fee to come out and diagnose the problem, and then I was charged another $87 for actually diagnosing the problem. RIPOFF, but whatever, I paid him because I want this thing fixed. He says I need a new control panel for the furnace. Cool. I wait 2 days (meanwhile the furnace is off and I'm using my fireplace to heat the house).

I get an e-mail saying they want $995 to replace the control board and pressure switch. Fun fact, there's nothing wrong with my pressure switch. A little shocked by the cost, I call them to ask for a cost breakdown since it wasn't in the e-mail. I was told very frankly that they only quote the job and will not break down the associated costs.

I highly disapprove of this business practice since there's no accountability. Especially to replace a part that costs approximately $300 on the high side. I politely suggested that if they didn't break down the costs for me I would take my money elsewhere and the lady on the phone didn't even seem phased. She had zero concern for trying to keep a customer, fine with me I suppose. I guess other people are okay with paying these prices and they have no need for people like me.

The good stuff: - Easy to make appointment - $80 to go out, another flat fee to do the repair - On time, completed job and cleaned up afterwards - Great customer service The not-so-good: - Snake the tub to fix slow drainage - $158 - Repair a single lever faucet - $91 It's way too expensive for the actual work. This is on par with how expensive Rotorooter is known for, so definitely keep this in mind.

Heidler is excellent. They've done a lot of work for me over the years. I went back to them recently and found them to be as good as ever. They use a flat rate system, not hourly. You will pay a premium for their work, but it is always top notch. Sometimes it's worth it. Plumbing is one of those times.

We had them put in a new gas line inside our house, with an eye to a tankless water heater in the 5-10 year future. The quote process was easy and they were happy to address my concerns throughout. The quote was more opaque than I preferred, but we had several more quotes, and theirs was the best for those who could verbally address all of my concerns at the time.

I asked them a plethora of questions and they were never short with me and they never gave me the impression I was wasting their time. For the installation, I was in their back pocket the whole time, asking questions and just watching the work. They didn't object or make any trouble. They made a better than code central hub for the appliance lines to come out of, and this was a standard practice for them.

They addressed all of my concerns and dealt with my hovering over them professionally and personably, face-to-face and over the phone. They also dealt with all of the county permitting and scheduling, so I didn't have to arrange anything directly with them. I just had to let the inspectors in. I will call Heidler again when we have need for additional plumbing service. ~of note, we had to use a somewhat uncommon supply line for the gas, and we had three other quotes done, and all of the others either were for less-than-modern techniques, or they were having us purchase far more materials than we needed because they didn't deal with them very often. But Heidler charged us only for what we used, with no waste.

Start to finish professional service was performed by Heidler, from the office staff to the onsite employees. During a recent bathroom upgrade, a plumber was needed quickly before tiling work could be completed. Heidler responded promptly by providing an estimate at 9am and by noon on the same day, Josh with Heidler was onsite performing the job. I also called R.E. Robertson requesting an estimate. VERY BAD IDEA!

The guy on the phone sounded annoyed, as if I had interrupted his day, never came to my condo and offered a quoted priced $200.00 over Heidler's quote. HEIDLER'S THE BEST and I'll gladly recommend them to others!
