The repair/install people with Jakes are always prepared and knowledgeable. They work cleanly, and when they leave everything works properly. I won't call anyone else.

I could not get them to return a phone call. I would talk to one person and they would say they would get back with me and I could have an appointment the next week. No one ever returned the call. After the third time (I kept calling because they came recommended) I said if they did not schedule an appointment with me then I would just move forward with someone else.

The receptionist hung up on me. She had told me she needed to speak with the owner, Jeff, first before scheduling an appointment. After she hung up I called to speak with the owner. He actually answered the phone. He told me they were too busy. So I guess they do not need any new business.

If you are in need of an HVAC system look no further than Jakes. They replaced my entire system (A/C, Nat. Gas Furnace, and all ductwork) over the course of 3 days. When they were finished my basement was actually cleaner than when they showed up on day one and the installation looks fantastic. The furnace is whisper quite when it kicks on and the house is much more comfortable.

I've recently (one year ago) became a customer of Jake's and highly recommend them. They have provided service to my AC twice now (once for low Freon and a second time after a lighting strike on our home. Both times, the service was prompt, accurate, quality work and competitively priced. A+'s. [UPDATE] After 17 years our HVAC systems were approaching their EOL (End Of Life).

The upstairs system was completely dead and the downstairs AC was running almost 24hrs a day last summer. I got quotes from several area HVAC installers and choose Jakes to do our replacement installation. Their price was competitive and service from past experience was Top Notch. We were not disappointed. Once we made our choice of Jakes, they called and made arrangements for installation within a week.

They worked with me in the removal of the upstairs HVAC on a Friday so I could repair a drain pan that was badly corroded from a leak in the old system. While they did the downstairs installation, I repaired the upstairs drain pan. All the work was completed quickly and and all of the old system and materials was cleaned up and gone by Tuesday morning.

The new system is a Trane and it works wonderfully. It is so much quieter than our very old Carrier system and the added Air Bear system works fantastic! Since summer started a little early this year, we have used the AC already a couple weeks solid and our electric bill was about $30 less than expected last month. We were pleasantly surprised.
