Wilson BROS Heating & Air Conditioning

Wilson Brothers is really an anomaly these days, a company that cares and will continue working on a problem until it's fixed properly. They are reasonably priced and never try to upsell anything. All the technicians that have ever come to our house are very polite and knowledgeable. We have a problematic boiler and where other companies have tried to sell us a new one, Wilson Brothers always fixes it and gets us going. We will never call any other company again for any heating or HVAC issues.

We own 2 homes in Groton Mass and we have had Wilson Brothers for several installations & repairs as well as yearly services.their employees are knowledgeable and respectful. A very well run company- highly recommend!

In Sept. I posted a 5* review for our annual check up of heating system. 22 days later, on a Saturday, we had no heat, having not used it much with warm weather. Derek was able to come within 3 hours with a trainee and found the control boards were unable to communicate with each other. He removed all molex plugs and connections then re-seated them.

When he turned the power back on everything worked as it should. 5* for friendliness and prompt help. But 3* because I suspect some wire wasn't secure from the annual check up. Wilson Bros should have given a $25 credit off our bill for a previous Yelp review but didn't. My husband notified the office 3 days ago and has heard nothing back.

So the company rating, not Derek's, is now 3* for needing an expensive fix in 3 weeks and no response from office. About 15 years ago we also had the no heat problem after the annual visit and something was not put back right.

Wilson Brothers has been consistently excellent and timely in responding and servicing our heating and air conditioning systems. Their preferred customer contract is the best way to insure consistent annual service for a reasonable fee. Wilson Bros' service technicians have been skilled and informative. Needed some work done in May - submitted a request - no response after a week - followed up and was responded to with "We have been extremely busy with people without air conditioning with this 90+ weather. They will be in touch with you soon regarding yoru request. ". Needless to say - they never followed up which was disappointing as a prior good customer. Found a new go-to team in Littleton.

We have had Wilson Brothers service our central AC system for many years. They are very knowledgeable about central AC systems. Their service people are very professional, courteous, and friendly and take the time to answer any questions I might have. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Wilson Brothers!

They have helped fix issues we have had from a different company who did our installs. Josh has been particularly helpful and spent extra time with us last year trying to figure out a tricky unusual issue. We are so glad we switched companies for all our heating / cooling services.

I had "my" oil company (who I will not name) come out to service the furnace a couple months back and they told me that my oil tank was compromised, that I would need a new one in the not so distant future. So I asked for a quote from them to replace it. Plus I got 2 other estimates to do the replacement, as anyone doing this kind of job should do. "My" oil company that has been filling and servicing my home for years was over $1000 higher than Wilson Bros.

I had a conversation with Tom Wilson, he sent his installation manager out that day. We agreed on a price - That was Tuesday, Today is Thursday, Old Tank gone and the new tank installed - They were here about 4-1/2 hours and bam. All done! Excellent work gentlemen, thank you for your speedy and efficient service. If you don't look around you'll never find out what is better that you may be missing by doing the same old, same old. Wilson Bros won themselves a customer!

Had a 5 year old Goodman (GMSS96) furnace end up with a cracked Heat exchanger. The replacement exchanger would have taken 3 weeks to obtain (only available though Goodman). Decided to have Wilson Bros change out the entire furnace where we had a few issues in the past. No pressure from Wilson to go with a new furnace whatsoever. They thought it was a shame to replace a 5 year old repairable unit however we went with an American Standard (S9X1) which they sell.

Basically an exact replacement (form, fit, function). It was an easy swap and roughly took a whole 2.5 hours to replace and was up and running. Great experience from initial tech analysis, sales, replacement estimator, installation estimator and final install team. Would highly recommend.

Wilson Bros. came down the other day for our annual service for our furnace and air conditioner. They showed up exactly when they said they would and got right to work. The service rep. was a young man that was polite, professional and knowledgeable. I was amazed at what a good job he did and he even took great care to clean up when he was done. No question about it -- you are in good hands with Wilson Bros.

I had Joe Patterson as my tech and he was one of the most professional technicians I have ever dealt with. He was clear, descriptive and informative. He continued to ask qualified questions and took strong care for our home. He walked through what we asked him, made copious notes and walked through everything right before he left to ensure we were happy. Outstanding, great job Joe, you made this company shine.

We have had good experiences with Wilson Bros. We replaced our heat and water heater adding central A/C about 20 years ago. A couple years later we had a service done by the local oil company and noticed a smell and visible smoke from our chimney. Wilson came out and corrected the issue. Then last summer on the hottest week of the year with visitors in town for our daughter's wedding out A/C quit.

We called Wilson and they came out the same day and resolved the issue. I have heard so many stories of people waiting a week for a service call when dealing with other companies. In our experience that is not the case with Wilson Bros.

We are fairly new customers of Wilson Bros. So far.so good. The service people out to our house for plumbing and heating issues have been very polite and professional! It is nice to have one company to call for all services!

Good people, good service. Recently, a service appointment was scheduled incorrectly. They quickly sent another tech to complete the service in the time promised. Their service plan has kept our prices predictable, and when we've needed last minute service they are always fast. I love that they are local, but most of all that they are responsive and honest, unfortunately that's not universal in their line of work. Highly recommend for oil and HVAC service.

Just called for some help with our central AC system which seems to be crapping out on us in this heatwave. Was told that since we are not existing customers (which certainly I would have become if they had actually come out to do the repair) they can't guarantee that we'll be seen before two weeks. Thanks for nothing. This is a surefire way to guarantee that I'll never be your existing customer.

We just had Wilson Brothers install a heat pump and AC splits in our house. They were very professional and their fellow Norm that came for the estimate new exactly what would work best in the home. The other company was confusing, expensive and gave us 3 different options. We could not be happier with their Wilson's work and it was all done in 2 days as promised. We thought the installers were all friendly and seem very competent as well. Happy Customers!

My wife and I bought our house knowing that the old boiler would need to be replaced sometime soon. We thought we could make it through two winters, but we were naive, and it ended up dying in the middle of winter #2. Luckily it was able to limp along for a month or two until we could schedule an install date. We called Wilson Brothers, and they were very responsive and quick to help.

They were able to come out to our house to quote us, and to set a time for installation, which was much sooner than other companies. They updated us every step of the way and were flexible with us when it came to the payment due dates (waiting for credit card statement periods). Wilson Brothers were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, they were solidly below the average quoted price that we received.

During the installation, the technicians were punctual, professional, and very helpful. I asked a lot of questions, and they were happy to explain things to me. The only issue we had was that the two installers could not remove the old boiler. It was far too heavy. I called the office and they were happy to take some off the bill to make up for this.

I ended up having somebody come in to take it for scrap cast iron, and it took 5 guys to haul it up the basement steps. Overall it was a pleasant, painless experience, and I hope we can continue to do business with them in the future for our service, and oil needs.

This company was an absolute Pleasure to deal with from the initial call. Spoke to Michelle, Lynn, and Cheryl throughout the whole process. Those girls were so amazing, made everything fall into place. Always someone to talk to, and made me feel like we were number 1. We had Norman come out to price job, what a great guy and super friendly, and answered all my questions.

He was prompt with arrival. Next was Eric, to measure for the job, and he was spot on with everything and placement and prompt on his arrival. Then we finally had installation for 3 days feb 19,20, 21st 2019. Those guys were prompt every day when they promised. They were friendly, each guy introduced himself and shook my hand, they all loved my two shar pei dogs.

The best part of this job was you all respected my home, it was cleaned after the job, and your attention to detail was the best. I can't thank you enough Cliff, Zack, Owen and Al. You made us believe in a business that proves they are the best in customer satisfaction. You were recommended by a neighbor, and after 5 different quotes from different companies, your prices, and professionalism was what we admired in your business.

You also knew all the information on the Mass Save programs. That was key. So in closing, thank you so much for doing a beautiful job installing our gas furnace and giving us heat we so needed. Your truly the best around. We will recommend you to our friends and family and use your business for any maintenance or issues in the future.
