Geothermal energy has been used to heat and cool buildings for many decades. During that time, these geothermal systems have been called many things: geoexchange, geothermal, ground-water, ground-water-source, water-to-water, and even water furnace heating and cooling. All of these terms, convey the same thought: use of geothermal heat pump technology to tap the energy in the earth's surface and drive a heating and air conditioning system for both residential and commercial uses. The result is a green or natural heat pump that saves energy and benefits the environment.

As someone who runs a business I have to give credit to good honest business owners. Charlie at Verde is one of them. Our technicians were servicing a solar system in the area when a box of tools must have fell out of the truck. A good samaritan gave them to Charlie and Charlie let us know ASAP to pick them up. Charlie easily could have kept the tools, but instead he went out of his way to let us know and held the tools until we could go pick them up. We need more Charlie's in this world!

FUTURE CUSTOMERS BEWARE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE PLUMBING SIDE OF THIS BUSINESS. This company's plumbing rates are outrageously high and their business practices are questionable at best. This company was referred to me by an acquaintance and although the company had just average reviews I called them to get a price on a toilet repair. There website boasts that they give free in home estimates.
This work was for a rental property I own in Sedona and I live in California. I initially spoke to Alisha. I explained to her that I had a tenant complaining about a loose toilet and wanted to get a price for the repair. Alisha never mentioned anything about a "service call charge" and scheduled their plumber John to go to the property. John called me and told me it be $360.00 to pull and reset the toilet (I have done this a number of times and it is a fairly simple job and should take no more than an hour). John also told me I would most likely need to have the flange replaced and that would be an additional $268.00 to do that. John told me I was looking at over $700.00 for the total repair.
I told him that both those estimates sounded ridiculously high. John told me he could do nothing about adjusting the price because they use a "Book" to quote estimates for their jobs. I have heard of other companies that use this so called book and everyone says their prices are way above the norm that are charged by reputable plumbers. I declined the work and called another plumber. Kincheloe Plumbing came out and did the entire repair to the loose toilet for $180.00 and low and behold the flange did not need to be replaced.
If the flange did have to be replaced, Kincheloe's price was only an additional $50.00. You can do the math to see how crazy Verde Sol-Air's prices are. To top everything off I get a bill in the mail several weeks later for $82.50 for a "Service Call Charge". I called Alisha again and spoke to her on the phone on 09/17/21. I told her that the website mentioned free estimates and that she never mentioned anything about a service call charge during our initial conversation to have John go out and give me an estimate. Alisha told me the free estimates are usually for bigger jobs.
I told her I did not agree with the bill. Alisha told me that she did not have the bill in front of her. Alisha told me she would pull the original invoice and give me a call back. That was over a week ago and I still have not heard back from Alisha. It is companies like this that give a bad name to the overall plumbing business. Unfortunately it is not a crime for companies like this to operate the way they do with unsuspecting customers.
This company is apparently owned by M & W Industries. I will be contacting the Arizona Better Business Bureau and Arizona State Contractors Licensing Board to air my concerns about Verde Sol-Air Services. I have only dealt with the plumbing component of this company. However after my one experience I would recommend that anyone wanting to do business with any component of this company do their homework so they do not not get "ripped off" by Verde Sol-Air!

I have used Verde Sol Air for 7 years now as they were recommended to me by Water Furnace Geo-Thermal as their Premier Installers. They promised that our property would look as good as new when they finished. They drilled 4 wells during a few days of on and off rain and our front yard looked like a mud pit. After they removed the old units from the attic, I had one little drip of rust on the closet wall where everything came down from the attic.
The yard looked better than it did before they started when their landscape company finished. They are true professionals.so much so that I decided to replace the plumbing lines due to leaks by other neighbors in our development and have them do it. No connections with PEX pipe in the attics. Continuous lines with connections in the side walls. When finished, their recommended contractor for fixing the holes(50+) in the drywall did an outstanding job.
You can not tell anything was done. As the saying goes.you get what you pay for. They beat other companies' bids and I have no problem recommending them for installations or service!

Although there has been a few issues with our system we feel well taken care of by Verde Sol Air. Each time we call they are prompt in getting things fixed and always seem to be looking out for us as customers. They also have a great team, from the office to the field staff, especially Paul. We highly recommend them.

The Best I have have ever encountered. From the analysis of the issue to the total installation, experience with Verde Sol Air was great. Everyone involved was totally knowledgeable. The installers (they sent 5) were great. One was nicer then the next and explained what they were doing each step. At the end of the day, you would not have known that anyone was doing anything, That is how clean things were kept. We thought this was going to be a nightmare. It turned out to be a dream of a project. That was thanks to Verde Sol Air. Great decision on our part. Thank you Verde Sol Air

If I could give zero stars I would! My mother called this company for her annual air conditioning check up. Paul, the technician, told my mother that she had a "leaky capacitor" and it needed to be replaced. CAPACITORS DON'T LEAK (we all know that capacitors either work or don't work. And her system worked and she only called for the check up) I wish she would have called me while he was there but she trusted his word.
A $264 lesson later he had replaced the part. How terrible that someone would take advantage of elderly people who don't understand how the system work and live on a budget. Liars and cheats! Beware of this company and especially the technician Paul!

Dan Thomas showed up, on time and ready to service my Hvac system for the summer. He found a failing capacitor and quickly repaired it saving me major future issues. I've been using Verde Sol Air since 2005, had them completely replace my Hvac equipment and have them come by twice a year, by contract, to keep everything in top shape. Dan in particular is a super technician as well as a friendly gentleman. I'd highly recommend this company for all of your heating and air conditioning needs

Yes, as good as it gets! Request Dan Thomas if you can. What a wonderful professional and human being! On time, courteous, sincere, gracious and quick he was! It was an experience I was apprehensive about as I have never had to have my HVAC serviced before and he made the whole process easy, pleasant and actually down right awesome! I thought the service charge was fair as well as the time it took to fix the problem. I would highly recommend them and I would obviously call upon them again should I need to. Thanks Dan! You rock!

Our mother called Sol-Air because her air conditioner stopped working. They told her she needed a new one and it would cost about $7000.00. Fortunately her grandson got someone else to look at it and they bought a $86.00 part and fixed it immediately. It works perfectly. We are certain this is predatory pricing of an elderly lady that they think would just pay whatever they asked. This was obviously intentional and despicable.

Completely amazing. The service tech was great assessing the damage caused by the hot water heater and realizing the wrong jets were used. He ordered the correct heater. Safety first! Fast service with great explanation of the process. Office personnel were wonderful. I had to have the work done for my parents that lives a good distance from me. I felt like this was a totally great experience.

Mr. White was excellent. He was professional in his communication with us about the status of our unit. He shared several suggestions as to what to look for as far as efficiency and life of our gas pack. Without sales pressure, he shared what we could expect as a reasonable life span for the current unit, why we might consider replacing it sooner than later, and how we could find financing at the Verde Sol Air website through Wells Fargo with 0% interest for 60 months. We will be using Verde Sol Air in the future for our HVAC service. We recommend him and Verde Sol Air with confidence.

They deserve a big 0 rating. Our A/C wasn't working so a technician came out and told us the unit was shot. Over $8000 for a new unit. He showed my husband his electrical circuit tester showing the compressor was shot. We decided to get a few quotes. Another company came out and said it was just corroded connections, he took sandpaper and cleaned the connections. Everything works fine, $105 dollars later and my house is freezing, the A/C works great.

We've been customers of Verde Sol-Air for many years and have always enjoyed working with all their technicians. We've recently had a new furnace and air conditioner installed and all the techs were great. In particular, Steve, who came out the following day to correct an issue, is always prompt, professional, and is truly the "Sherlock Holmes" of Verde Sol-Air.
He will stay until he figures out what needs to be done, and always finds a solution. This family-owned business is a wonderful part of Camp Verde, AZ as well as central and northern AZ. You'll be treated well when you call them for your air conditioning/heating/plumbing needs.
