Red flag from the beginning. We called the phone# advertised on their commercial and it went to a call center. Call got dropped after we gave our info to the lady. We called back and was connected to another customer service lady. That call dropped too. To avoid another call drop we just scheduled an appointment online. Cool, got a text to confirm the appointment.
Appointment day came, no call, or text from the company.needless to say, a whole day wasted waiting on this company to not show up or call for a "reschedule" or why they didn't show.

As I was shopping quotes I contacted AirCo. They sent Charlie out to give me a quote. As a fellow Marine veteran he was straight forward and fair with the quote. Jose and Ernesto did our install quickly and cleanly. Answered my wife's questions and got us all set up. Great company to have do your service.

I won't be using this company ever. They made a scheduled time of 3-4pm. The guy did not even show up until almost 5pm. They sent a "Comfort Advisor" out to give a free estimate for our aging system. We are simply doing research as to what to save for and what we need. I asked for a written estimate to present to my husband. The guy verbally quoted me $12000-$14000 for 1 new inside and outside unit but he said that was the best he could do.
My husband specifically asked me to get a written quote or estimate so that he could see for himself to be able to compare between companies what they offer, their warranties, the system differences, etc. This guy told me to have my husband give him a call. He kept telling me he wasn't trying to put me off but that is exactly what he was doing. We know it is an old system and though we have not had any problems with the system, we want to make sure that we have knowledge of what it might cost to replace the system if it does decide to stop working during the hot summer with a new baby.
This guy wouldn't even give me the time of day just wanted to talk to my husband, said I didn't know what questions to ask and that he wanted to talk to my husband personally. How SEXIST! I know I am a woman but I am not stupid and I know a thing or two about this system. I did not understand why he wouldn't give me a written estimate or at least send me something about the options I had.
That is all I wanted. Now I am left with a wasted afternoon and a bitter taste in my mouth for this whole process. I will never use this company for anything if this is how they represent themselves. Now I just feel really upset and icky about inviting this stranger into my house. The only positive thing I can say is he wore shoe covers. So Dave you have lost your company a potential customer by your lack of professionalism and sexism! Update: Called the company yesterday and told them about what happened. They said management would reach out to me. So far no call from management.

David arrived on time and performed all work that was specified. He explained what was to be done and approximately when it would be finished. He finished at the time originally stated and all work was performed flawlessly. The entire work are was cleaned up beautifully. On completion, he took the time to show and to explain the new system, how to operate it, and all other relevant issues.
He was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful including answering all my questions. I'm extremely pleased with the work performed and the experience dealing with AirCo.

5-23-2022 I am so pleased with the service I received today. Applause for David, Evan, and Josh, for the hard work installing my A/C system. I had to get their names, because they were wonderful. They were so polite and worked diligently to get everything done from the morning to the afternoon. They also stuck around to explain the new system and answer questions as the y came up. I am so thankful for the help I received, especially after such a large investment purchase. Good job and A+.

Alex is the type of repair man that every home owner wants to see show up to repair their air conditioning system. He call to let me know that he was headed to our house and then followed up with a text. When he arrived and introduced himself I know we were in good hands, he presents a great first impression. He thoroughly went over our system and ensured it was in proper working order and completed the repair in the shortest possible time. AirCo is very lucky to have him as an employee.

Our home air conditioner stopped working one afternoon. The thermostat went offline and was blank when we tried to get it started again. We called AirCo in Hurst because they had done good work for us in the past. The office staff were pleasant and helpful in setting up an appointment for the following day. Joshua, the AiCo technician who came to do the service, was very polite, friendly and willing to explain what he was doing.
He turned the unit off and then back on. The thermostat came on. Voila. Problem solved. So I thought, but Joshua was very thorough. He said things like that don't just happen and spent quite some time seeking the cause of the shutdown. Eventually, he located the problem and replaced the bad part. He could have simply left after the unit started working again, but he didn't. He kept looking for the solution and found it. He helped us avoid another hot night without air conditioning. Kudos to Joshua and to AirCo for a job well done.

They installed my unit about 10 years ago, and for the first few years, i had no problems. Starting about 5 years ago, they try to add things every time they come out for bi-annual maintenance. EVERY TIME. They told me that it was urgent that i replace my capacitator about 3 years ago -- it could go out any day and my unit would be ruined. I did. Now they're telling me it needs to replaced again.
My research showed a capacitator should last 20 years! 3 years ago they told me that my indoor unit needed to be leveled. I had someone look at it that told me that it absolutely did not. Airco has been out several times since and never mentioned it again (I did not tell the subsequent repairmen about it.) Today they tell me the OUTSIDE needs to be leveled. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN MY HOUSE AGAIN.

They've been great to work with! Very responsive - they actually had a rep come out within minutes of our service appointment to talk about replacing our very old system. The appointment was great, low pressure and informative. Feel very good about having them replace our full system. Services: HVAC system maintenance, HVAC duct & vent repair, Heating system installation, Install thermostat, Install AC

With our old system on it's last leg, we had AirCo out to replace it. The install crew arrived on time and left the area cleaner than they found it. They showed my wife and I how to use the new thermostat and answered all the questions we had. We had an amazing experience and I'd highly recommend them if you're looking to get your equipment replaced before the summer heat rolls in!

When we ran into a problem with our furnace not turning on and we needed help. Our Nest thermostat was complaining about the wiring (which has never changed). Then on one of the coldest days of the season, the Nest thermostat just decided it would not work at all. Very frustrating. Sam S. and Micaiah L. from AirCo came through for us with a smart investigation and recommendation of how to proceed.
They didn't "throw parts" at the problem or suggest a complete system replacement (like one of their competitors did). This was somewhat of a unique situation as there isn't much written about WHY the Nest would just one day decide it didn't like the wiring it's been hooked up to for years. But these guys figured it out -- made a great plan and executed it with perfection. They really are the best. Very smart, personable and all pro. I hope AirCo realizes how valuable and important these gentlemen are to their customers.

Justin was professional and articulate. He offered complete explanations of diagnostics and repair plan. Motor was ordered and arrived overnight. Initial motor replacement failed to work. Justin quickly returned to Airco and retrieved a second motor, installed it, and we had air conditioning in little over an hour. This is my first time using Airco. All customer service staff have been great at keeping me informed. Definitely recommend Airco.

SCAM! Don't EVER use this company! They called me and talked me into their 'maintenance' plan (of course they had me pay for it upfront - 2 appointments, one in Dec. 2021 and upcoming one in May 2021). The tech came out, looked at everything [inside and out], cleaned the outside compressor (which I already did myself last year for free!) Then he proceeds to give me a list of everything he 'recommends' to replace: capacitor, add freon, etc.
Then he shows me the blower needs to be cleaned - I said why don't you clean it because isn't that part of 'maintenance'? He said, "No, that is a separate trip charge and we'll have to come back to do that." WHAT!? Then he says, "Well, your unit is 14 years old and they only last 10-15 years." How convenient is that when I've had units last around 20 years!
I asked what exactly do you do regarding this 'maintenance' that I paid for? He stated "We do a 44 point inspection, change the filter and clean the outside compressor by blowing a water hose through it." WOW! Those are things I already do myself [by the way, he didn't change my filter because I gave him one to change if he felt it was needed, obviously not]!
I called them afterwards and asked, "Isn't this deceiving? You said this was 'maintenance' but basically you gave an 'inspection' of everything I already knew and only offered to change the filter and use my water hose to clean the outside compressor and tried to sell me on every part and complete unit! NO MAINTENANCE! Then they keep calling me to come back and give me a quote for a NEW UNIT INSIDE AND OUT! NO WAY IN HExx! THEY SCAM YOU OF MONEY 'UPFRONT' AND DON'T DELIVER ON THEIR WORD!
It wasn't maintenance, it was an 'inspection'! Deceitful! Whoever is running this company - I can't wait until you go out of business! Spread the word consumers!

Mr. Clayborne and another technician came to service my hvac unit on why it was leaking. They were at the house for a bit and never gave up on the problem. I was given advanced notice of technician's arrival and he showed up on time. Elvis is very polite and professional and I feel is very trust worthy. I'm an electronic tech and he doesn't mind my curiosity and peering over his shoulder and watching. His check outs and repairs if needed are quick but competently performed. I would definitely recommend this company.

Philip was OUTSTANDING! He was courteous and professional. I'm going to call him "The Gentleman Technician"! And to top everything off, he was good at his job! He was thorough, patient, he took his time to make sure he checked everything, and he was able to find the problem and resolve it! I told him I would be requesting him again! If all of the technicians at AirCo are like Philip, they just made a customer for life! I challenge the rest to meet Philip's level of excellence! Gauntlet thrown down!

Jared was super professional, cordial and responsive to our questions throughout the estimating process. Although we've put the project on hold for a bit, we'll always look for ways to work with Jared and AirCo in the future. We can see that this company has integrity and transparency, so don't hesitate to contact them for an estimate. Thanks, Jared!

I had Airco come out and perform a diagnosis and quote on my AC unit. Their examination was very extensive with pressure readings and electrical resistance test done. They then provided me with the results on a printed form along with a quote for the repairs. They were far more professional than the previous company, did not charge a service call fee and their quote was hundreds cheaper. The repairs were done quickly, professionally and within code. I highly recommend this company at this time.

I'm very impressed and I recommend this company to everyone. Please read this because it could save you a lot of money, as it did me. AirCo has integrity, are friendly, and professional. They investigated and found that I had extended warranty which I didn't know. This saved me $300. on a six year old HVAC. I called several heating and air-conditioning companies, (most of them didn't call me back until Monday) it was a Sunday.
It was 34° outside and most of them were not open and had no emergency callback number. AirCo not only called me back but Amber was very friendly over the phone and informed me that they could look up this warranty and get me someone out here within the hour. Their technician Alberto was very professional, informative and friendly. Before contacting AirCo, I contacted A#1, they came out and quoted me a price that was double of what I paid Airco ( not counting the $300 that they saved me) and A#1 were not going to check to see if I had warranty. THANK YOU AirCo!

These guys installed a new Trane HVAC system last season. I had lower estimates, but went with them because of a promise of service after the sale. Not so! I received a post card reminding me it was time for service. I was told appointments were over 3 weeks out. OK, it's the season. Wasn't happy, but it is what it is. In the meantime the service recommended and Replace air filter warning shows up on the thermostat. Today, 24 hours before my appointment, I get a call canceling because of emergencies. Huh? I'm not important? Headed to the attic to replace the filter myself. Bye bye AirCo.
No more recommendations or business from me! After ranting on social media about the poor customer service, I got a call from the General Manager. He apologized and said they never cancel appointments. OK, then why did I get the call to reschedule? At any rate, he sent out a tech to service, as promised. Good. The tech proceeded to extort additional services to the tune of over $1,200. Ok, he was doing his job.
The tech did not return things as they were. I'm writing this because I appreciate the follow up by the General Manager, Blake, and the fact they honored the appointment. Therefore I'm raising the original rank to a 3 star.

We have had our system for 13 years. In all that time Airco techs have taken cared of it and provided with the right advice to maintain our system running smoothly. Today was no exception Carlos came introduce himself a went right to work. He explained what he was going to do with the unit and did his work, Carlos also provided tips on how best I could keep my unit working properly.
He then went outside and started working on that unit. Again he explain what he was doing and why. Carlos provided more tips on how to take care of that unit. Carlos is a true professional and it showed in his work ethic Thank you for having such an outstanding employee.

I have had a nightmare with this company. I just purchased a brand new LGI home and have been living in it less than 2 months. I have had airco techs out here 6 times and they still can't fix it. A BRAND NEW SYSTEM! And it doesn't work properly! As of this review it is completely frozen again and I just had Dan the new construction manager out here yesterday. Surprise!
It still isn't fixed! The GM, Blake, has made things right and replaced entire indoor and outdoor system as I requested. I appreciate that hthey did that. As of now (2 days later) it has been functioning properly.

Bought a new Trane Heat Pump Unit from AirCo 4/28/2017 and had problems with the thermostat every since. Called on morning of 5/23/2019 and was told someone would be here between 5:30 and 6:30 that afternoon. No one showed by 7:00 and when I called AirCo back, they didn't even have me down for a technician to come out at all. As soon as your 2 year warranty runs out for their service, you get nothing but the run around. Called A#1 Air and they will be taking care of me for the future.
Thought I was getting a good company with AirCo, but price isn't always the best thing to consider when purchasing a $6,000.00 home unit. Beware of their service, for it truly doesn't exist!

Wish there was available for 0 stars. Agree with others on HORRIBLE customer service after the sale. I've spent $27,000 on 4 replaced units over the last 5 years. Had an issue with one unit not igniting. Unit is under warranty, but they want $85 service to come diagnose. Regardless of amount I've spent with them, not willing to waive service fee. Parts are covered, but also want labor paid in addition to the service fee. Contacting Trane to discuss and find another Trane authorized service company in the Metroplex. Extremely disappointed. Their motto is "Experience the AirCo difference". I've experienced it for myself, it's bad. 0.0 loyalty or appreciation for customers.

Warranty service: (1 Star) Thermostat bad. Charged $85 for service charge and $170 for labor to basically plug in a new (UNDER WARRANTY) thermostat. I was not pleased at all about paying the same price for labor as purchasing a new thermostat from Amazon would cost me just to plug into wall plate. Have a feeling they expect that customers will not be able to deal with Trane directly for replacement. It's a $$$ maker for them.
Bottom line: the $85 service charge should have covered an under warranty swap out of a bad thermostat. The extra $170 is gouging the customer. Between my house and my parents, we have spent nearly $35,000 with AirCo over the last 7yrs on 4 new complete systems. Shame on them. Unfortunately, I won't be recommending them anymore after this experience. David J was our technician. (5 Stars) Super friendly, efficient and express willingness to make the customer happy. Explained everything thoroughly and offered tips to help with care and maintenance of our units.

Great Sales Team - Greedy, sloppy Service They do a fantastic job when trying to sell a new unit. Perfection. Even a pie delivered to your house a few days after installing the unit. Then I needed service. I called them out to fix lightning strike damage in June witch took out the HVAC system completely. They came out to fix it, worked on the AC part of the system, but didn't check if the furnace unit was operating ok.
Now it's December and it's time to run the furnace. Unfortunately, the strike took out parts of the furnace system, too. Now they refuse to perform work under the same work order and want to charge another diagnostics fee. Their service back then was probably 2 stars because of the whole experience. The interaction now takes it down to 1 star. 0 stars is I could.
The problems with the initial work performed: 1. They do not fill out forms required to file repairs with your home owners insurance. Be prepared to not get reimbursed or make the technician document every bit of work in painstaking detail. 2. Appointment windows. After 5pm can really mean after 9pm. Good thing that I'm a night owl, but I have better things to do than waiting around for 4 hours not knowing when the technician is going to show up. 3.
Crazy Markups. $400 for a $70 part. Of course when the technician shows up after 9pm for a NON-EMERGENCY repair you don't have many options. It's probably planned that way. 4. No itemized receipt - only a credit card email without details. 5. A very rude "Retail Director" that refuses to provide documentation on the work the technician performed when you need documentation for the insurance.
In short, the AirCo difference is: * More Money out of your pocket * Time lost you could be spending better * Aggravation interacting with their staff. * additional work that needs to be performed by a different service company.

Purchased a new HVAC system from Lowes and Airco was the installer. The installation crew both spoke English, were extremely polite and well spoken. They wore shoe coverings in my home and cleaned up after they finished the job. Afterwards we found a dent in the unit. Communication was fairly good and they got the dented panel replaced within about two weeks.
Then they sent a box of delicious chocolate chip pecan cookies to thank us! I was only going to give them four stars but the cookies were worth an extra star! Would do business with them again.

We have had our Trane unit installed by Airco for about 4 years now. They did an awesome job in the installation and have always handled our maintenance/repairs. I called them yesterday as our thermostat would flash when it was changing scheduled cycles. It also would come on and blow but wasn't cooling (the house was near 80 degrees last night).
The service team rocked it out. They set up my appointment and Seth was at the house by 12:30 today. Not only did he have to remove some panels in a tight space to get to the issue he did it without complaint. He found that we had a condensation issue so he treated the pan. He also put a view section in our condensation drain pipe for easier monitoring and recommended that we put a cup of white vinegar into the drain with the float so that the system will stay clean.
He also checked our outside unit and found that the capacitor was on its last legs. He explained everything thoroughly along the way asking for my approval before proceeding with repairs each time. The amount of the bill was well worth it to have my a/c back. Seth is awesome and Airco is the best. Seth even made friends with our crazy, visually impaired Min Pin.
