Scenic City Heating & Air

We hired Scenic City for a long overdue replacement of a unit. They got us schedule fairly quickly. So far the quality of work seems great! They did leave the house with drop clothes on the floor, the ac running and the attic wide open. They did install during a rain storm and the drop clothes didn't stop them from smearing mud all over the stairs, but it was done well and fast. 4 stars for leaving a job without picking up. I did inherit two drop clothes for whatever they might be worth.

I was having problems with my breaker tripping on my a/c. I looked on line and found Scenic Heating and AC. I read a lot of customers reviews and decided to call them. My previous a/c guy retired. So I'm the type that is Leary of new doctors, mechanics, and a/c company's. It's all about money and people trying to take it. So I'm also Leary until I find out differently.

So scenic City sends out one of their technicians, Anthony Pinion. Super nice guy and very professional (knows his stuff). Anyways, he check my system and everything seems to be working as it should. He then checked my breaker, and finds that the black wire was loose and hot to the touch. He tightened the wire and bingo, problem solved. My point here is he could have tried to sell me a new system, new Compressor, and god knows what else.

But he didn't. He was honest and didn't try to rip me off. Says a lot about Anthony and Scenic City Heating and AC. I will definitely be using them and Anthony for any future A/C Heating problems.

I knew my AC was not performing well, called at midnight on a Thursday, fearful that I would not be able to be serviced until Monday. Clark from Scenic City called at 8:30 Friday, and I was repaired by 4:30 the same day. It was simply low Freon. The tech had R-22 (the old kind) on his truck and filled up the unit. He also gave me a diagnosis: I'll probably have to have the unit replaced this year since it's over 20 years old, but I'll be calling Scenic City to replace. Well done and thank you!

I purchased an A/C unit from this company last July 21' with no issues. The experience was as close to perfect as possible. Fast forward to June 22' and my unit seemed to not be cooling as well as it should. I contacted Scenic City and explained the issue. A tech was sent out the same day I contacted them and fixed my problem. The unit os still under warrant and there was no charge to me. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a unit or needing repairs.

I've used this company twice and each time they were able to get me running again and for a very fair price. Techs will spend the time required to fix the issue and not rush through, asking me to check several times for the desired result. I've felt that both times they have been honest and informative. I will call on them for future needs.

Super thankful for Scenic City's work on installing our new HVAC unit. The person who originally quoted us (Rusty) was excellent to work with and super helpful in answering all of our questions. Their guys came out and had the new unit installed in one day despite rainy conditions. A second team then returned a few days later (at our request) to check the leveling of the unit and add gravel under the pad the unit is sitting on to protect against settling. They were super responsive to our concerns and went above and beyond to ensure we were totally satisfied. I would for sure recommend these guys.

When our heat pump quit, they came out the same day to service our unit. finding it was on its last leg. The technician showed me the problem. well problems. and we opted for a new unit. The new one was instock and so we were up and running quickly. All the guys were friendly, professional, proficient. The office kept in contact well. We are very pleased and would recommend them highly.

Scenic City did a great job on the install of a mini split for my detached garage. They provided multiple options at different price points and advised us based on the best fit for our space. Scenic City Heating and Air provided me with a quote to replace my heat pump at my resident. I called back several times with questions and they provided answers within a reasonable timeframe. I selected them to replace my heat pump because they were knowledgeable and reasonable. The crew was on time on the day of installation. They had the heat pump up and running the same day.

A few times I would go out just to see how things were going. Everyone was courteous and particularly good at explaining to me what they were doing. My old heat pump was 22 years old, and the new heat pump really looked different. My new heat pump required a change in the way the connections was coming into my house which also required a cover over the connections.

The installers had to make a temporary cover for the connections to protect them from the weather. This was on a Friday, and they worked to make sure I had heat for the weekend but did not have time to make a permanent cover. They came back on Monday to measure for the permanent cover. They came back on Tuesday and installed the cover and again was right on schedule.

The work they did was nice and neat. They did an excellent job cleaning up after installation of both the unit and cover. The new heat pump has really made a difference in heating my house. I would recommend Scenic City to anyone who requires heating and air replacement and maintenance.

After being quoted a week earlier by another company that I needed to replace a small part and the cost would be $778, I declined, found the part on line for $52 and ordered it. I somehow in the meantime got my heat back up so I was good. About a week after the part arrived my heat went down again. I called Scenic this time. Unlike the other company who arrived late, Scenic came 2 hrs earlier than quoted.

I did not tell the tech about the previous visit just to see how they would handle it. Scenic got my heat on and told me the problem was the part the other company wanted to charge $778 for. Scenic said it can be problematic over time and I should think about replacing it in the future. I asked how much and was quoted $261.00 installed. I then handed the tech the part I ordered and he installed it for $175.00 which included the service call. The point is Scenic won over a customer and I know I can trust them.

My wife and I just bought a house and they were the first service to respond to our request to look at a few plumbing and venting issues we new about from the inspection. They were able to fix all the issues we knew about and were able to identify that our water pressure to our house was way too high. Service: Duct and vent repair

This company was very courteous and professional & prompt. I recommend their services to anyone who need a central heat and air unit. Called scenic city heat and ac to give us a quote for a dehumidifier for very high humidity in the house. They gave a quote but recommended an evaluation of the unit and handler first to make sure they were setup properly. They were able to fix the unit and we no longer needed a dehumidifier installed. Saved us a couple thousand dollars, and were very helpful throughout the whole process! Would definitely recommend!

Scenic City came out to fix our HVAC and ended up replacing a motor. The air stopped working that night and the next day they came back out to fix it again. When the same problem happened they came the next day to figure it all out and now it all works great. The fact that they came out three different times to ensure everything was running smoothly is amazing. Will definitely recommend them!

I gave a bad review recently and I would like to soften it somewhat. I have worked with Scenic City Heating and Air for over ten years. They have recently made my frustration over a bill disappear. They do good work and they are always professional, nice and responsive. They really are great to work with. Part of the issue was my not asking ahead of time what the charges would be. My air is not leaking water anymore and I am good to go. Thank you Scenic City for resolving my issue.

Technician (Jim) really worked hard to diagnose and alleviate the A/C problem. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I recently had two AC units installed at my property. Rusty was the technician that did the work and he was a pleasure to work with. I had many questions about the units and the install and he was able to answer them and give me the confidence the job will be done right. I had other estimates but Scenic City stood out to me not only for the price but the professionalism and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend!
