My A/C went out about a week ago - Conway was able to get a technician out the next day to diagnose, which no other company I called was able to do. The initial diagnosis they determined turned out not to be the issue which unfortunately led to the whole process taking a few more days. Honestly, I would have been insanely frustrated because of this but Conway was willing to work with me because of the error and additionally, the tech who worked on our house the next two times (Adam) was more than professional in terms of keeping us updated and getting the work done quickly and effectively both times he was out.
He honestly turned a very frustrating experience into a much more tolerable one. I can't really blame them for the misdiagnosis though, as my understanding of the situation is that both parts were bad to begin with. Would recommend due to the responsiveness and professionalism. EDIT: Three days after they fixed our system, it went out again. After some back-and-forth and countless phone calls, they finally sent out a senior technician to work on the system.
He wasn't immediately able to fix the issue but instead wired up our blower motor so that it would constantly run so we would at least have some air circulation throughout the house. However, I later notice that we have a HUGE leak in our kitchen ceiling after he worked in our attic. Despite the fact that our ceiling is now damaged and is ACTIVELY LEAKING WATER, they can't send anyone out to fix it. Honestly, at this point, save your money, time, and energy and just go with someone else. The level of incompetency from this company as a whole has done nothing but infuriate me.

Everything with Conway was easy, professional and informative. From the first technician that came out for inspection all the way through talking with the comfort advisor and technicians for the install of a new unit. They were on time, respectful of our home, and did a fantastic job. I know who I'm coming to for anything I need next time!

Conway did a great job and went above and beyond my expectation! I purchased a water heater from them and it needed an additional part. They came right out and made it right immediately. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quality service. Matt Lufcy did amazing work and was a great technician. Very professional. I will definitely use Conway again and will request Matt. Great job!

Conway installed my home's HVAC system and did a good job. The project was slightly over-priced, but we were desperately HOT in July. Then for the next 3 years I had them checkout the system at the start of the winter and summer seasons. And they did a good job on that too. This summer, I called them to set up a date and time period for the system checkup again. But, they were late for the appointment.
The company operators were always polite, but I called them up 3 or 4 times and asked them to please contact their service tech and ask him to give me a brief call and let me know if he was REALLY coming to my home. I had already wasted 4 hours of my day, but would wait if he planned to come. The operators, each time I called, said they would send an email to their tech.
The tech never called or showed up. And I wasted all day waiting. I rescheduled again. The second time the SAME EXACT thing happened again! SO, like a sucker, I thought maybe "the third time is the charm" and rescheduled again. And I WAS a sucker, because that scheduled checkup was today. and once again they did NOT showup or call. I've wasted 2 and 1/2 months and 3 days on this simple checkout project. So, "Goodbye" to Conway forever.
I would prefer to have given then NO stars, but that impossible on this site. One thing is certain. The word SERVICES should be dropped from their name. That is false advertising. Unless you put POOR in front of it.

My HVAC systems started having issues on the hottest day of the year. Jerry spent over 5 hours at my house, troubleshooting, working in my hot attic and outside on the units. He did his best to get them back on, but we need additional plumbing work to fix one, and the other one needs replacing. Jerry patiently explained all the issues to me, helped set up additional appointments with plumbers, and to replace the old unit.
He was courteous, professional, polite, and sensing how overwhelmed and frustrated we were, very calming, assuring us this would all be fixed. I wish every service provider was as great as Jerry was today.

I contacted Conway about a laundry line and bathroom sink that were not draining properly. I was informed that the only way to solve the issue was to replace the old cast iron piping underneath the house. I agreed to have the work completed because it is an older house. Conway did come out within the next couple of days to complete the work. They dug a trench in the backyard to gain access to the pipes under the house.
After the work was reportedly completed, the sink in the bathroom was still not draining and there was an open trench left in my backyard. I again contacted Conway to inform them of the issues. I was told that they could not determine why the sink was not draining. They continued by stating that the trench was left open because there was no clean out drain on the house. However, the house actually has 2 clean out drains.
I paid 13k to have the drain pipes replaced. I had to wait 2 MONTHS before having this issue resolved. The bottom line is that Conway was quick to collect the money and slow to complete the work properly. After calling for months, I could not get them to come out and do what they were paid to do. No one at the company is on the same page. I got a different response from each person I contacted. TWO MONTHS and 13k later and I still had the same issue I was having before contacting Conway!
When I decided to file a complaint with the BBB and with a bank that uses Conway as a vendor, I finally got a call back to try and resolve the issue. I WILL NEVER USE CONWAY AGAIN!

Our A/C unit was installed by Conway 2 1/2 years ago & yesterday it started blowing hot air. I know it's not "that" hot right now (100 degrees) yet but it was getting pretty hot inside. I called & they got us an appointment for today. A part on the A/C was out, under warranty & they replaced it & everything is running great now. Fast, friendly service! Pierre was our Service person & he was very nice, gave us ALOT of information & help.

We had Conway Services install 3 new HVAC systems in the spring of 2017. We had a larger unit installed as well as additional ductwork in our upstairs. Recently we noticed that the system was running nonstop and it was hot. We had Conway come out and after several days and no show techs, it was determined that we have a leak in our evaporator coil.
While the tech was searching for the leak, he noticed that the ductwork was not installed properly - the holes were never cut in the insulation resulting in very limited/no air being pushed through the ducts. He explained that is why the back room never felt cool (summer) or warm (winter) and was causing our unit to run more than normal. He said his supervisor would be getting in touch with the installation manager and I would be receiving a call to schedule the repair.
I still have not received a call from Conway so I called today and left a message for the installation manager, Dale. Now, onto the next issue - the leak in the 5 year old evaporator coil. The part is covered under warranty, but the labor is not. We have a 10 year part, 2 year labor warranty. The repair estimate I was given for labor only was $2,222.
When I questioned this astronomical price, I was told that the repair would take 4-5 hours and this is the price all customers are given. Let me break that down - if it took 5 hours, that would mean more than $415/hr, 4 hours = $500/hr for only the labor! I reached out to a local business and was quoted $900 for the labor. That's still a lot for a 5 year old product that costs a lot to begin with, but is much better than the quote Conway gave. So, the moral of this story is that 1. Conway doesn't complete installation jobs, 2.
They don't stand behind their work or products, 3. They will pad their prices to cover "warranty" repairs. They are blinded by sales, quotas, and dollars. Shop local where they stand behind their work and products and STAY AWAY FROM CONWAY! I will never recommend them to anyone ever again. You can see in the picture where the insulation was not cut to run air to the air ducts.

In January this year I had plumbing problems where water backed up into the bathroom. I had some plumbers come out and was not satisfied with their work, I then called Conway who came out the next day. The technician was very professional but had to called the field rep out to scope the line. They found that the roots from the trees had collapsed my line and it had to be replaced.
Mr Hayes (the field rep) discussed financing the repairs and I decided to take the plan to get the repairs done. The agreement stated no landscaping done after the project was finished but he said after 3 months of allowing the ground to settle Conway would come out an fill any trenches made from the digging. The sub contractor came out right away and replaced the sewer an water line and I was pleased. 3 months later I called the office to request the fill in and was told I'd be put on schedule with the contractor to be serviced, after multiple calls I'm still getting the same freaking lie.
I asked how hard is it to bring a load of dirt to fill a trench that was caused by your work. The contractor is an extension of your business and you are responsible for getting that done. I spent 5k on the project and can't get $100 load of dirt to satisfy a customer. that's unacceptable. Needed my AC serviced but didn't dare call Conway.first time customer and last time customer.

I have 2 main issues with this company. 1.) I contacted them for their monthly routine service in January of 2020 when I moved into my new house. I never received a response so I figured they didn't need any new customers. 2.) the last few times I've shopped at Home Depot there is always an annoying lady who tries to hard sell me for their service that I never received a response to in the first place.
The last time I had to tell that lady to leave me alone and I was ready to mace her if she kept following me. Those 2 reasons stated above as well as the other reviews are why I'll never use them.

Conway has been a great service provider for HVAC services to our home. The Technician "Jack" has been to our house several times over the years. It is comforting to see a regular face with a pleasant personality and professional attitude to ensure the job is done correctly the first time. We will continue to use Conway and recommend their services. Thank you Jack and the support staff of Conway for your dedicated work.

I had a really bad septic back up called Friday 8am was told 12-3 then received a call back that I had to wait until Saturday. Rep came However when they left my tub was not draining calls back 9 am on Monday was advised I have to wait until Tuesday with a bathtub that still had backed up septic water in it. Which is unacceptable! I asked to speak with Manager was placed on hold only for customer service rep to tell me her manager Matt said it will still be tomorrow.
So basically he refused to speak with a customer that paid for service 2 days ago. I have to wait 2 more days with backed up dirty toil water in my bath tub that stinks my whole house!

On Tuesday we woke up to water pouring out of our ceiling because our hot water heater had burst overnight. We called Conway services and they had a representative out that same morning. Conway representative Mr. Joe Moody came out looked at the problem and went over options with us. He was VERY professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. After making our selection, a very professional installation crew showed up early the following morning and made the installation.
However the next day I smelled a gas smell in the attic. I called the regular service number, after 5pm, and was treated very pleasantly by the young lady who answered and explained my problem to her. Within 30 minutes, Mr. Joe Moody was at our home and resolved the issue. Again Mr. Moody was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Conway is lucky to have guys like Mr. Moody working for them. I would use their services again based solely on my experience with Joe.

I've been a Conway customer for 20 yrs. very satisfied until a couple of years ago when Conway started doing hard sells for items such as whole-home surge protection, air purifier, etc. And I do mean HARD SELLING. They hurriedly sent a supervisor out when the tech doing my maintenance didn't get me to bite. I did add an air purifier because my husband had pulmonary issues - only to find out 2 yrs later that they put it on the wrong unit.
Most recently, was having issues with the unit not cooling consistently. Took them 3 visits to determine that it was a refrigerant leak and then quoted $1500 for the labor to repair it (part was under warranty). $1500 for 3 to 4 hrs of labor! Ridiculous. This company has gotten too big for it's britches. Repair was done by a competitor for 1/2 the price. I won't be using Conway ever again.

I am a member of their Confort Club where I pay a monthly fee for priority service and also twice a year maintenance. When we first started it was outstanding but over the past 2 years things have just not been good. Today was my scheduled maintenance that was scheduled over 3 weeks out but was cancelled by Conway without as much as a phone call or text.
I was told that I would have to wait another 3 weeks to be rescheduled. Why in the hell don't you shift other people down on your scheduling so that people that has already waited can get their units serviced. One of the units on my home has been working marginally and I was hoping the tech could tell me what it needed to be improved but now with no one for another 3 weeks its just unacceptable what is the purpose of paying over 300.00 a year if just going to be treated just like any other person that calls in for service?

If I could give no stars I would. I wouldn't send anyone I know to use Conway Services. Unless you like a company taking complete advantage of older people. I don't know how a company can feel good about themselves knowing that is how they do service. I personally nor anyone I know will EVER EVER use this company. They charge in the high thousands for a one day service with minimal actual parts.
They won't give a detailed bill of what they actually did and how it totaled up to the final cost. When you call they actually could care less that they charge so much to a older couple knowing they over Charged them. Even the insurance told them that they were in the wrong and charged way beyond too much. I work in the service industry for myself and I am telling you now I have never nor would I ever take advantage of anyone like this and especially not older people. I have no respect for a company that can do this. Be very very aware.

Don't trust CON - Way - they are CON artists. My HVAC system was making a strange noise, so I took a family member's advice to call Conway for an inspection. The technician examined my system, took 2 hours, wrote up $5,000 worth of parts that need to be replaced, then recommended I buy a whole new HVAC system since mine was 17 years old.
Next day the Salesman comes to talk about the new systems I could choose from for $10,000 and up. Then comes pressure - if you sign today my Manager can give you a discount. I backed away as I needed to think. Next day I hired an independent HVAC technician to come diagnose my problem, which he did in 30 minutes of testing. The blower motor needed replacement, that's it.
And a new thermostat. Total parts and labor $500. Works just great again. He told me my system is a Trane, top of the line, will last many more years. Bottom line - Don't trust CON way.

This company service commitment is awful. We spent a great deal of money to have our plumbing repaired. They dug up our yard and replaced 3 toilets and TONIGHT our initial problem has resumed. Our toilet will not flush and our tub is clogged and full of water. This is unacceptable and I'm furious. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING CONWAY!

We purchased a new unit from Conway 5 years ago and have not had any issues. We also pay for the service agreement once again not any issues until Wednesday evening when the unit stopped working. Tech arrived several hours after promised time and supposedly tightened a contact wire fixing the issue. Not so much had to call them out again and it was a bad valve not an issue.
Just got a call from Conway they will have a supervisor out on Monday to take a look at the system, Monday really! I pay the monthly payment for service yet I have to go 5 days without AC so you can send a supervisor out to figure out if the part is needed. What kind of service is that? What am I paying the extra money for? I will follow up with the status on Monday. Have a great weekend please stay cool for me.

This company has a con game going on to get commission. They are robbing their customer's blind. When they quote you a price that will cost you thousands of dollars to pay then beware. It would behoove you to have another company come out for a second opinion. Our drain technician was Omar Trejo. When he came out he ran the camera into the drain and then pulled up a picture to show my drain line.
The drain line he showed me was different than my drain line. He showed me a fake picture with damage on his laptop after he ran the camera. The next step is that Omar will then request another Conway crook to come out to agree and confirm his findings. They have an agenda to make money off customers to get a bigger commission at the customer's huge expense.
As a woman I thought I could trust the technician but things just were not adding up. So, I called another plumbing company out for a second opinion and they could not find any drain issues or damage. Don't get scammed. Do yourself and your pocket a favor and get a second opinion. It could very well save you thousands of dollars.

Do a wonderful job just have to wait 2-3 hours after the time they say they will be here. Hasn't just happened once this happens every time I call. I'm in the process of selling a house and they are suppose to come look at the AC i bought 5 years ago, I was told they would be here at 8 am and then waited till 10 and was told they over booked, then came back after being told they would be here at 12:15 and now it is 1 o'clock and have yet to hear anything from them. UPDATE: Eric finally showed, super nice and hopefully is in and out in no time!

If you're considering Conway, or a current customer, then it's likely that paying a premium for services is not a problem (and that's okay) They are one of the more expensive HVAC install/repair (and now plumbing!) contractors in our area. Today was their second seasonal visit since i have been helping with overseeing my mother's work in her house and her maintenance contracts.
A few years ago, she paid a premium to add insulation to all surfaces in her attics and crawlspaces. It was expensive, but it made a big difference in her utilities and temperature in the house. In short, Conway has destroyed the insulation around the interior hvac units and never mentioned the destruction of the insulation. Today was their 4th and final visit. I'm attaching pictures if I can. Again, Conway may be great in some instances, but the oversight and obvious lack of respect for a homeowner is unacceptable and needs to be called out.
I reached out to one of their competitors last "winter inspection" and talked about this. His response just guaranteed a customer if i can end the Conway contract: "The only way you will know I've been there is that your air is working." Sold. Good luck, Conway. Oh and the one star is for showing up. I found cooling leaks at the inside unit last season. They came back out and fixed those, too. Imagine how many customers don't check and just continue to pay. Shameful.

My bathroom sink and tub were draining disconcertingly slow for the last week. They got super jammed yesterday and I knew my 69-year-old home probably needed a little plumbing tune up. I called Conway around 3 p.m. and they had someone available to come to my home by 9 the next morning. I pushed it back in time and they accommodated. Thanks! "Service Professional" David Price was super nice - I didn't mean to rhyme, I promise.
I got a call a half-hour before his arrival so I could be ready and put up my dogs. David arrived, assessed the situation and I told him about that big old earring I dropped in my sink the other day. That couldn't have had anything to do with the tub, so maybe that wasn't the problem. Who knows? You're going to think I'm NUTS, but I had to get to work and I left him in my home.
