Very prompt in getting an appointment. Person answering phone was very pleasant and accommodating. Checked with plumber several times and had part ordered and delivered within 4 hours. Plumber answered all my questions. A very professional company.

Dean quoted us a price of $1,450 (in total) to replace the compressor for our A.C. unit. His initial service was great answering emails on a Saturday afternoon. I emailed him all the info on the AC unit in which he ordered the compressor and showed up the following Friday to install it. The new compressor that he installed ended up being bad. He ordered another and showed up the following Friday and installed it and had the unit up and running.

This is were his service sucks. I received the invoice the following Monday and it was based on his initial quoted price of $1,450 + tax. Originally he stated that the "total" cost would be $1,450, obviously his quoted "total" price didn't include tax. The following Thursday I received another invoice for nearly $2,000. A "note" was included on the invoice that stated "Please disregard previous invoice". Wow! nearly two grand to replace a compressor in a 2 1/2 ton AC unit.

His tech did have to replace the contractor in which he charged $128. Contactors take about 10 minutes to replace and are less than a $35 part. He basically charged us another service call to replace the contactor. He claims that his quoted price only included replacing the compressor and not charging the system with freon and getting it up and running.

What contractor does this sort of business? quote half the job, like a customer has a can R-22 freon, a vacuum pump and a set of AC gauges laying in the garage. To make things even worse, his office gal sent me an email stated because the "brand new" compressor was being installed in a "used" AC unit there would be no warranty. No warranty? a new compressor installed by a so called professional and no warranty what so ever?

The take here is that Dean quotes a price to get his foot in the door, once the "final" invoice comes it's whole different set of circumstances. If you hire Dean, make sure that your getting the "total job cost" and not half the job. He also threatened to send the matter to a collection agency if it is not paid in a timely fashion.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value Installers tried to say furnace was bad. Just a lie for an upsell. Also installed a new thermostat that went bad in a few months. No defects just poor quality materials used. Also never insulated or sealed holes they put in the walls. Water leaks and can see daylight where they installed. Services: Install AC, Install thermostat

I had an expensive heating system put in with a blower. First, it took several weeks and promised installation dates for them to get the heating system and install it. Mind you it was -50 at that time last year or so. The blower didn't work and there was a gas oder after the installation as well. After leaving the blower malfunctioned and still has yet to work.

I called to set up an appointment. The secretary called me on the day of the appointment and said they would not be doing service. I called the office to find out why, and she said, I don't know that is what I was told. I asked to speak to the owner and she gave me another excuse and said she would call me back after she found out the reason. She never did. Unbelievable unprofessionalism and inconsideration from Royal Heating. I will NEVER recommend anyone to get services from them.

Great Operation - We had both our Furnace and AC replaced after 23 years. The original installation was also done by Royal (under their former name "Jims" ) and it worked great, but worn out over time. The replacement system works better than the original and is way more efficient. On time, on budget with quick responses to questions and very helpful with operational inquires about the new systems. You can't go wrong with Royal Heating & Air.

We replaced our furnace and a/c through Royal Heating & Air. They were extremely responsive and professional, had quality products, and their installers were on-time, courteous and thorough. They made sure we understood how to operate and maintain the new equipment and answered all our questions. The high efficiency equipment delivered as promised and reduced our utility bills significantly while improving our comfort in both the summer and winter. I had Royal Heating clean and check my furnace this year and was very satisfied. The office was prompt in scheduling my request and the technician was thorough and knowledgeable. Happy to recommend Royal Heating and will certainly use them for any future needs.

Avoid. Service technician forgot to reconnect some "parts". Left house with furnace not working. Sent my name to a collections agency without informing me they hadn't received my payment. Explanation: My payment got "lost in their old mailbox." They tried to call me but neglected to update my current phone number, which I provided at time of service.

My point: If you can't contact a customer by phone, why not send a letter to them at the address where you did the work, before referring the matter to collections? After paying a second time in person, was told they couldn't give me a receipt because they were logged out of their own computer system. Was promised they would mail me a receipt. After 3 weeks have not received a receipt for payment.

When I asked to speak to a manager, or the owner, Dean Mink, the employee refused. Noticed Dean Mink gives his company 5 stars on this page. Respectfully suggest he reconsider.

Our AC unit had died unexpectedly over memorial day weekend. I left a message on Saturday. Monday morning they called and lined up for a tech to stop out (they actually offered same day, but as luck has it I wasn't available on Monday). The technician arrived during the time frame they told me (the tech called me when he was 20 minutes out) and quickly got my unit running again.

Not only did he get the unit running, he did a once over of the AC and furnace. He was very open about the costs as he was working over the problem (a new capacitor and recharge of Freon). I would highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs.
