Our company was started in 1957 by Milton Dunn as a cylinder delivery company focusing on 100# cylinders. When Milton's step-son Walter Dahlquist SR (Joe) returned from the military in 1960 he started helping with the business and began the service department. In 1968 Joe purchased the family business from Milton under the name Skelgas.

Outstanding service. We had a issue with our old furnace and Dennis came out within a half hour after calling. Furnace ws temporarily repaired until a new one could be installed which was done in a week. The guys who installed the new furnace were very professional and answered our questions. Would highly recommend Dahlquest for any service needed.

I have had excellent service from Dahlquist for several years. The first experience was caused by another heating contractor that left a tube that put water over the mother board of the furnace. Dahlquist installed the motherboard in the furnace and has kept the furnace working for quite some time. They always perform work on the furnace that keeps it working. our experience has found them to be trustworthy and complete the job on schedule. I appreciate the maintenance they have performed for me.

Jim, the service technician, was very thorough and professional. He did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem with our gas fireplace and offering recommendations for correcting the problem which stemmed from an improper installation by a different company several years ago. Initially had a problem with the gas fired stove I purchased when it was damaged in shipment. Michelle communicated well and kept me informed as to when a new one would arrive. Once the new stove came in, they worked my install into their schedule right away! The techs who installed the new unit were professional & courteous. It looks & works great!

I called when my AC blower wouldn't fire up and they were out the SAME DAY to troubleshoot. The worker was very professional, on time, courteous and very conscious of social distancing/wore a mask. My husband and I decided to install ductless air conditioning units, a tank-less water heater, and remote thermostats in our summer lake home. We use our home year round and wanted the peace of mind that comes with remote access and control of our heating/air conditioning units. The Dahlquist team was courteous, informative, and professional throughout the 2 day install.
They communicated clearly and effectively through each phase of the install. They ran water through the lines to ensure there was no air in the lines. I was particularly impressed at their concern for the cleanliness of our home. At the end of the second day, they ensured the remote, wireless controls were fully functioning. I can't wait to use the remote to heat or cool our home prior to our arrival. Thank you to the Dahlquist Team. It was a very positive experience.

Dahlquist has been a life saver! My heat went out over the weekend & there was no guaranteed fix of my old system so I needed to get a new system installed. They came out on a Sunday morning to give me a free estimate of a new system install. The price was cheaper than another local company & they were able to install the new unit 2 days sooner than the other company. They answered any questions I had in a timely manner & I'm very happy with the service I received.

Very satisfied with the service Dahlquist provided for some warranty work on our gas stove. Jim was the service tech, did a great job troubleshooting any problems. Jim discussed with me all checks he made and any adjustments. We had also purchased a heat pump system at the same time as the gas stoves. Jim took his time to ask how it was working for us and answered our questions. Curtious, knowledgeable and pleasure to work with.
