I reached out to Birch to get quotes for replacing my old air conditioner. They worked with me to provide a full suite of options ranging from replacing the air conditioner to full replacement of HVAC system with a heat pump and electric back up. From the consultation, I decided to hit the pause button to focus on sealing and insulating the house to bring down the total load to hopefully bring down the size of the HVAC equipment I will need in a year or two.

I learned a tremendous amount in working with Birch. There were no high pressure sales tactics and they really took the time to work with me to find the best solution. Will absolutely go back to them to buy my HVAC equipment once the air sealing and insulation is done.

I had an error code from my heat pump. Nikki gave me a call and scheduled someone to stop out the following morning. Kyle showed up on time, explained what he was doing and diagnosed the problem quickly. I appreciate both Nikki and Kyle for their help with getting everything back in working order. I would highly recommend the professionals at Birch Heating and Cooling.

I have never been this poorly treated by any business. They Installed it wrong, flooded my basement, they ran my drain tube outside and told me well, you better get that fixed or your basement will flood because it will freeze this winter. who says that after installing a brand new furnace and central air. I ended up hiring a plumber to reroute the drain tube.

They should have seen that I did NOT have a drain and sold me a tier 1 furnace instead of the tier 2 that their salesman said was my better option: and central air unit. They refuse to take responsibility for their mess up and blamed me. The central air kept freezing up this summer, Buyer beware. I called them with a problem and the owner said to me, well, when you pay your $268 you owe us, will give you service when you pay.

I think I need to send them my $492 plumbing bill. Birch heating & Cooling showed their true colors after the sale. I wonder how many others they have screwed over in the Dubuque Area?

I had a non-emergency issue so I told them there wasn't a rush. They still worked me into the service schedule within a couple days. When Kyle arrived, he identified the issue, explained it to me & provided a ballpark estimate. After I agreed, he left for a short time to get the needed parts & had the furnace fixed very quickly. When he worked up the final bill it was on the lower end of the estimate. It was a very positive experience as compared to service I've received from other companies in the past.

If you need a new AC central air unitI'd say this is the one place you should go Baylor fast courteous polite and helped me with learning my new equipment. Which as we know, it's right up my alley.

Installed out heated floors and water heater, very satisfied. We had them come back to install our mini split as well, could not be happier.

Furnace went out over New Year's weekend. Called and spoke with Kyle and he trouble shooted with me over the phone to fix the problem myself, saving me a weekend service fee! He even call me back a few hours later to make sure everything was working properly! Great Service!

We are very happy with our pellet stove. We had a few questions and concerns on how to operate the stove right after we got it installed. They sent us out a very knowledgeable service guy, along with the owner to make sure everything was running smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone!
