Jeffrey Wilbur Plumbing & Heating

We did not have a good experience at all with Jeff Wilbur. There were several miscommunications (complete cost of service call and how to schedule an actual estimate). They lost our trust and we ended the entire process with them. It may be their process but it was shady and unresponsive. If you must use them, ask many direct, follow up questions and document answers.

Better yet, do not use them. EDIT, 6/1/22: In response, we did know that our compressor failed prior to your technician coming to our house, that much was obvious, not an unplanned failure. We were informed of the $65 fee, not the additional $88. Your technician spent 20 minutes looking at the compressor and approx. 40 minutes in his vehicle in front of our house (Ring doorbell verified). We have called you no less than 4 times because $153, 7 days later, we still have not received an estimate. Waste of our money.

We recently had our Central Air Unit Serviced by Wilbur. Joe was our Technician he was on time for our appointment. He was professional right from the start. He introduced himself and everything he was going to do on this service call. He found a part that needed to be replaced in our unit. He fixed it in a timely fashion and was in and out quickly with the whole job.

He could not have been more helpful or more courteous and i give him a 10 out of 10 he was Awesome! i highly recommend Wilbur if you are looking for a truly professional company that will get the job done and done right. Thank You to Joe and the rest of the Wilbur Company.

Wilbur group recently replaced our AC duct work and did an awesome job! Always on time, very professional, neat and courteous! we were very pleased with their service. Joe also came out recently to perform our yearly service on our AC system. He did a great job! He really took his time expaining all that he had done and offered good advice. He was courteous and professional. We would highly recommend Wilbur Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning!

Wilbur Plumbing recently installed a brand new HVAC system for us (heating and cooling). The techs Mike and Justin were wonderful throughout the install. They were both polite and professional. They finished each day explaining the work that was completed and provided helpful information on the new system functionality and clear instructions to operate our new thermostat. Excellent work and customer service. We look forward to using Wilbur Plumbing for work in the future. Thank you again!

Very happy with the work done by Colt. We had a toilet repaired. Very professional, called to arrive early, and did not take him long to clear the clog which was down the line past the toilet. We also had a 4 month old water heater that stopped heating water. The model was so new that they didn't have any heating elements. They were able to get an element after trying several suppliers. It was wonderful to have a hot shower again. We will definitely be using Wilbur Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning again. Thanks again!

Wilbur's saved us. Our heat went out during the last snow storm and Wilbur was able to get out the very next morning to fix it. Colin was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was wrong with the furnace. He promptly fixed the furnace on the spot. We were very pleased with the service and will continue to use them for our future HVAC and plumbing needs.

After a scheduled service appointment on my HVAC system in November, it was necessary for me to get a new furnace and outdoor unit as mine was not estimated to last through the winter. Jeff came out within the next few days and had a consultation with me for what needed to be done. Originally, I was told the inside unit was not a problem; just the outdoor, but after consulting with Jeff, he suggested updating the inside one aswell due to how old they both were. Jeff kept me updated on the status of my equipment and what he felt was best for the entire process.

With the shortages going on worldwide, I was impressed with the efficiency and perseverance from Jeff to make sure all of my equipment would be delivered in a timely fashion. Justin was my installer, as well as two other helpers. They arrived on time both days as it was going to take two days to complete correctly. I would rather them take longer to install it as long as it is done correctly rather than rush and something not go correctly. Justin (and his helper-- each day was a different one) were very courteous, efficient, and hard workers. Justin made sure to explain the process of the installation, what was occurring with updates, and his advice coming from an installers point of view.

He made sure to check constantly on the work that he had completed and made sure when the entire installation was over, to walk me through the new systems (both inside and out) as well as the new thermostat that was put it. He was very knowledgeable of what he was doing and it was evident that he enjoys what he does. He made sure that any questions I had were answered and even checked again with me before cleaning up after going over everything.

He left the place as clean as it was when he got there. He was very helpful and I appreciate Justin, Alec, Colin (?), and Jeff for all of their help in making this process as smooth as possible for a first-timer.

From Linda (she doesn't have a google account): Having just moved to the area we were not very familiar with people here and how to get a hold of people to manage our furnace accordingly. We attempted to reach out to the individuals who set up our furnace prior to moving into this new house that were unsuccessful over the past few days. After waking up this morning to having a temperature in the house at 59°, we were notified of this company and reached out to them immediately for emergency service. Colin came to our aid and helped correct the complications so that our home could be warm!

He was very pleasant to work with and very professional! We really appreciated his help and his assistance during our time of need. Installation happened so fast! Mike and Justin were organized, efficient, and informative. We appreciate everyone involved with the process to get our heat working this winter - Great customer service from the whole company!

My heater broke down over Christmas. We tried everyone to come out to tell us what was wrong. Wilbur came out on Monday. A gentleman named, Colin came out and was so honest and so nice. It's been a long time since I had someone come to the house to fix something who honestly cared. I told the office on Monday that this young man was so easy to work with and explained everything to me.not my children.

Which was so very nice. I am a working senior but paycheck to paycheck. My children helped me with this expense but if I could, I would have given this young man an extra bonus. I've never worked with Wilbur before but I will never call another heating unit company. I hope so many people call this company. From Colin to the young woman on the phone they were all so wonderful! Thank you so much!

Our experience with Wilbur plumbing was very good. They were responsive to our inquiry about services and gave us several options to choose from when they sent over estimates which allowed us to choose the services that met our needs. On the day of the service Colt and Shannon were professional, friendly and took the time to leave, get additional parts needed to complete our service and still finished it all within one day.

Even though there were some unexpected issues, they still only charged our agreed upon estimated price. We very much appreciated that they took the time to complete the job on the day of from start to finish. Would definitely recommend their services to others.

We had an issue with "no water" in our house. Jason our service tech came to the house and identified it was our water softener which ruptured and leaked throughout our entire plumbling causing a widespread clog. I cannot say enough good things about Jason. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to go through the entire house addressing each faucet and shower head. I was very pleased with the efficiency and timely resolution of our issue. I would recommend Jeffrey A. Wilbur for any plumbing needs. 5 stars for Jason as well!

Joe and Mike from Wilbur removed our old AC and gas furnace and installed a new system. They were in and out as promised. Every step of the way they were courteous and professional. Mr. Wilbur stopped by the first morning to be sure that things were going smoothly. Wendy at the office was always positive, clear and professional when I had questions about billing, service plans, etc.

Price was fair and competitive. Gave us several options and clearly explained the differences. We could not be happier! My wife and I gladly recommend Wilbur Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone who wants quality equipment, installation and service.
