Todd was awesome. Showed up promptly.very thorough in explaining all that he applied to the work areas for electrical. He dressed appropriately for the work to be performed re wearing protective gear, got things done in timely manner and just an overall pleasant guy. Leaving he asked if we needed if anything were to go wrong to give a call and would be available to respond should any problems arise. Thank you Heritage for sending a great employee of yours.

I called on a Friday afternoon and was given an appointment the next day! No extra 'weekend rate'. Price for initial assessment is applied to the work done if you proceed. They may not be the least expensive place around but they're available more hours and have enough staff not to have a long wait. My technician, Christopher, was on time, pleasant, and professional.

He dealt with a leak under my sink and annual maintenance on my hot water heater (which was not performing up to it's usual standard). He showed me everything he found that was problematic, explained how he was going to fix it, quoted me a price, and then got the job done. He was friendly, focused on the job, polite and worked cleanly. He made the whole process easy. No more leak and lots of hot water again!

Jason spent several hours preparing our AC systems for the season. He thoroughly cleaned and tested them and replaced the filters. What was unusually impressive is how well Jason communicated at every step of the way, explaining what he was doing and why. I learned a good deal from him. He also explained some options we had if we wanted to do some upgrades. I cannot recommend Jason highly enough. We've had very good experiences with everyone from Heritage who has come to our home.

Heritage Home Services are excellent to work with. I have had multiple services done with them and am VERY happy. I called at 7:00 a.m., and actually spoke with a person. no 'choose #1 or #2' here! That's a Gold Star! 'Robin' was very helpful, took my information on the issue, and made an appointment for the very next day. another Gold Star! She said that there was a chance that someone would be out today, and that they would text me if that was possible. another Gold Star! Sometime after 2:00, I received a voicemail from Jack, he said that a technician would be out shortly!

Another Gold Star! A shiny, clean truck, soon appeared in front of my house, and the technician, Evan, walked up to my front door. He was in a nice, clean uniform from Heritage, and introduced himself to me. Before entering my house, he put on these blue fabric boot covers. Another Gold Star! I would say within 15 minutes, my issue was resolved. Evan explained about their 'one year warranty'; and asked if there was anything else that I needed. Another Gold Star! Looks like I gave Heritage Plumbing a six-star rating!

Connected through a home repair site. They were quick to respond, and the folks were all friendly, but of no help resolving the actual issue. My issue was with my hot water/boiler system. It was fairly evident the woman who called to schedule a technician wasn't exactly sure how to handle it. Despite my voiced concerns, she thought it best to send a plumber to begin.

Within 5 minutes, he said he knew what the problem was but couldn't make the repair - they needed to send a boiler repair technician - then charged me $89 for his visit. Later that day, the boiler technician arrived. The repair he quoted (replacing the coil) was so astronomical, I told him I would prefer to just replace the system - another $189 for him to quote me a price only a fool would agree to.

He also offered to send a boiler replacement technician - which would have likely been yet another "diagnostics" fee, had I agreed. I ended up putting an end to the cash grab and contacted my oil company. They offered to repair the coil for 1/3 of what Heritage quoted but acknowledged it was an old boiler and probably wouldn't last too much longer.

I got 3 quotes for the new system and each person that bid on it informed me that this company is well known to make their money on their estimate fees and they hear about this double charging often from clients. I would look elsewhere if not dealing with an emergency.

Don't use this company, charged me 3,686.00 for a 40 gallon water heater installed. Took advantage of us. Never again!

Ken arrived promptly to repair and replace shower fixtures. He's very pleasant to deal with and is upfront about the costs before beginning the job. We even discussed a future project with potential costs. Everything looks and works great, plus he cleaned up the bathroom so well you'd never know he'd been there! I recommend Ken! Had issues with our hybrid heating system where the heat pump was shutting down to defrost when it got cold and wasn't switching on the oil heat. Michael check out the system thorough and found some loose wires at the furnace that he tightened down. System worked as advertised afterward. Very satisfied with the quick service. I can always depend on Heritage and their employees for their professionalism, knowledge, respect and friendliness. Heritage goes well above in recruiting and training their employees and I am always comfortable when they are performing routine maintenance or servicing a trouble call that it will be done correctly and efficiently. I may pay a bit more than some local person but piece of mind is priceless knowing they are dependable, (24/7/365) reliable and their employees are extremely qualified.

ASK FOR A QUOTE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY BEFORE DOING ANY MAJOR PROJECT! I've used heritage for years for my plumbing and heating maintenance so when my gas broiler died on me they were my first call. When the salesman quoted me $14600 it seemed high, but he said they had an open appointment the next morning and offered a 15% ($2200) discount if I took the appointment.

Unfortunately by the time my other quotes came back in the $7000 to $8000 range, it was too late. They had already started installing the new broiler. When I called the salesman to complain he said it was because they installed things to code and offered a warranty for the work. Sorry but most plumbers do their work to code and the $4500 I overpaid sure would have covered a whole lot of repairs. NOT WORTH IT. Still gave them two stars because the work they did was excellent, even if they came with the wrong controls and had to come back the following day to finish the install.

The day prior to a major nor'easter I was left without heat, un-helped by another plumbing and heating company that had serviced my furnace the day before. I called the emergency line at 8:00pm and a tech was working on the problem at 9:30pm. He was very polite and was able to trouble shoot the issue quickly. We are warm now and are very appreciative of the service Heritage provides. Will only ever recommend them for any household needs.

Ken from Heritage showed up early and was pleasant and efficient in his work. He repaired our burst pipe and repaired an outdoor spigot in our home after a freeze-up problem. We are very happy with the service we received and will call Heritage again for any future plumbing needs. Wanted almost a $1000 (971 and change) to remove a drop in bathroom sink, install a new one and to take away the old one, and I have a service contract with them for heating/AC. BTW that price did not include the sink as I was supplying the sink, faucet and drain. Called a friend of mine who came over and we had this job completely done in a half hour and the old sink will go out with the trash.

While they were here my neighbor talked them outside because he was looking for a heating company for his home and a four unit apartment complex he owns. After I told him the price they wanted for the sink he said he won't ever be using them.

Called this company to inquire about getting our portable/travel water system filter installed under our sink and also three detachable bidets we purchased on Amazon for less than $100. They quoted us nearly $800 to install the water system which is basically nearly the price I paid for the water system and $495 to install the bidets which is more than what the actual bidets cost.

One thing I hate is when people try to take advantage and rip us off and that's exactly what this company did especially when we told them we've just moved to the area. We ended up installing the water system and bidets ourselves. To give some context, I paid $200 to have the water system installed at my previous property and that was including the parts and the bidet my handyman did on his own for $40. I should've read the reviews before I contacted this company cus clearly they're in the business of ripping people off.

So I called Heritage to fix a running toilet for me with the $89.00 call out fee, I had bought the parts to replace in the toilet. The estimate including the $89 call out fee was $291.00. Being a female and A busy Covid NURSE I agreed. Well the flappers I installed prior and only needed an adjustment, but the Fill kit I purchased was the wrong one.

So I asked him if he had one in his truck he said yes, and I then agreed to the entire job to be $389.00. WHAT A FOOL I AM! Of course working long and numerous shifts to help save lives, I just wanted it fixed! I feel I was overcharged by at least $150.00. NEVER AGAIN! Is that how you stay in business? I could have bought a brand new toilet for that price! Shame on me! Don't use them they are a total rip off! I will tell all my nurse and physician friends about them!

I called on a Monday to schedule a toilet repair. The repair was scheduled for that Friday. The service man called 30 minutes ahead. He wore booties and a mask. The repairs to the toilet were extensive due to a crack. He explained everything to me very thoroughly and showed me the problem. That was around noon and he didn't leave until 7pm when the job was done!

$399 to replace a plastic trap under the kitchen sink! Never again! The prices are outrageous. Fifteen minutes of labor plus a replacement trap for $399! The technician was courteous and neat but probably works on commission. Don't fall for the $89 trap, it's a scam!

Maybe reimburse me for all that you owe me? Like 700 dollars and I will go Away joan

Do not use Heritage! Only gave one star because zero isn't avaliable. They are absolute lying Thieves. Not sure how employees at Heritage sleep at night- preying on folks in vulnerable home systems emergencies. Inflated is one thing.this was downright sick. Our water tank was leaking and we were told we needed a new water tank and the total would be a whopping $5,700.

Come to find out on our second opinion the next day (from an honest and respectful Professional) it was a mere $100 to fix our issue -(valve replacement). We also learned that when we are ready to replace our tank-it costs no where near the astronomical- arbitrary made up-number they gave, nor anywhere close to the hours of labor they quoted. They quoted $5,700 and said it would take 7 hours of labor- when in truth (for a new water tank) it will cost 2,500 and take 3.5 hours to install. Stay away from them.they will steal from you. AND we didn't even need a new tank! Filling out a complaint with the Better Business Bureau now.

Honestly, if I could rate this experience I had with this company I would have to give it a zero. Me and my neighbor ( both in the same unit) need new AC units. We both had planned a time that would work for all of us. A technician was supposed to be at the condo at 4pm. This was for my neighbor first and then my estimate at 5-6. Not only was the technician late but he did not call either one of us until 5:20pm!

I had to schedule my daughters parent teacher conference for 615 so when the man arrived at 6pm I told him I was limited on time. He said okay and just went ahead looked at the unit for about 3 minutes, gave me his card and said " I'll be in touch". No one contacted me the next day, this was on a Wednesday. On Monday I received an estimate of an OUTRAGEOUS amount of money in my email. No one since has followed up. Needless to say I went with more professional company.

I called them to fix a shower valve that has a slow drip when off. I expected them to replace the valve cartridge that sells at Home Depot for about $25. It's a pretty standard way to fix a dripping shower valve, and should take a plumber under 15 minutes. After just taking a quick glance at the drip, the guy told me that replacing the cartridge would never work, and that he would need to replace the entire valve assembly, cut into the wall behind it and do major plumbing work, and it would cost $1,460.

I was shocked at this quote and asked him to leave it alone and go. I then called another plumber who came the same day and replaced the cartridge which stopped the drip. He charged me $120, including the part. These people are bandits and have no shame of committing outright fraud. I will never use them again, and don't want to see others cheated out of thousands of dollars.

I needed help asap for leak under sink and they came immediately! Tech was awesome, polite, friendly, informative. lost a star because price was $399 to replace one shut off valve. So overall emergency was handled quickly but I was told there was a special for $89 waived service fee. good thing at those prices!

I have been using Heritage for HVAC maintenance twice a year for the past 7 years, but NO MORE! I place a service call recently because by furnace was displaying an error code. A technician came and charged my $189 just for the service call even though I have a service contract with Heritage. Then, he wanted to charge me $497 to replace the pressure switch with no guarantee the problem would be solved. That's right, almost $700 for a service call! I declined the pressure switch and called another HVAC company and my furnace checked our fine.

DO NOT USE. I have never in my life felt so cheated out of money. This company needs to be more transparent with their INFLATED PRICES. It's a scam to charge $89 to come look at a simple job and then charge an astronomical amount of money to complete it. For replacing hardware of 2 faucets only (no leaks or anything) they wanted nearly $800! That's at least double if not more the going rate of any other place around.

I can't believe that anybody actually uses this company. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of NH because of this. The technician said that many people a day refuse their work because of the price so these people are EASILY making $90 off each refusal. So they get 90 dollars for 2 mins of their time. Awful business. DO NOT USE. I will fight my hardest to get my money back.

Outrageous pricing! They wanted $600 to replace a toilet! Technician couldn't tell me why such a high price only that was the price! I paid $170 to join their program thinking they would be a great company to work with. I was WRONG

I wish I had done my research. The tech that came to my home was a nice guy, to be fair. I called on a Saturday with 2 issues. Most important was I thought that my main line from the well had ruptured due to a feint sound of trickling water just outside my foundation, under my deck. I also needed a toilet stop valve replaced that had become corroded and was dripping.

The guy I spoke to when I called was good, gave me the history of the family business and explained that if they did have a plumber available that day, there'd be a cost ($89 if memory serves) just for responding but that would be absorbed by any work that potentially needed to be done. Turns out they didn't have anyone to respond that day.

The tech arrived on Monday, promptly. The original issue turned out not to be an issue and even from the onset there were no discernible symptoms of a main line break from inside my home. So that issue was waved off. Bottom line, HUGE effort to upsell. The tech really was more of a salesman than a plumber or technician. I needed a $10 toilet stop valve replaced and a new $10 supply line to replace the old one.

The work for that took about 15 minutes or so. It cost me $493. I think the upsell is done to establish sticker shock as he wanted me to sign up for $1250 worth of work, annual membership, etc. Won't make that mistake twice and I hope nobody else will.

The techs are good, but that's the only positive. Its overpriced and the administrative service end is a hot mess. I signed up for an annual cleaning 1 year in advance and also purchased their "Home Advantage" service, which is supposed to give you preferential service. They never called, there was 0 communication. I reached out in early fall to ask what was going on and they say it would take 10 WEEKS until they can schedule the annual maintenance that I ALREADY paid for and they were supposed to schedule themselves months prior. They're basically a scam. Don't, I repeat don't use them. only for absolute emergencies.

Heritage is three times more expensive for equipment than Lowes. A Water Heater they sell for $1900. Lowes sells the same equipment for $450. Heritage charges $1350. when the average plumber charges $400.for the installation. They sold us a State brand manufactured water heater. This product failed 4 times in 9 years. Average of a new water heater every 2 years.

Each warranty replacement was pro rated until the 4th defective unit had no warranty left. But Heritage blamed State and wanted to charge $1350 for installing a new unit with no warranty. Talk about DECEPTIVE Practices. Shop around before you use Heritage. State said Heritage did not tell the truth about the warranty. They were just looking to charge an additional installation fee. Dont walk away from Heritage. RUN.!

Honey DON'T Call Heritage! They will over charge us just like other customers who have posted here on Yelp. A plumber from heritage came out to diagnose a toilet leak and he diagnosed it Wrong. Then he wanted to over charge me to repair it, I paid the initial service call fee and told him ( I am not going to let you OVER charge me, you can leave).

He wanted 375.00 to change Tank to bowl rubber seals that cost 12.00 at home depot and took about 20 min to change, ( i changed them myself). It turns out the wax ring was actually the source of the leak. Do Not Hire this company unless you like throwing away money. Yelp needs a Negative star option ( one star is to high however its my only option!) I want to congratulate the owner of heritage for running the worst plumbing business. The negative reviews about this company are over whelming.
