Marty from Allen Kelly & Company came out to my house today and took the time to walk through every aspect of my hvac unit and explain how it works & how to diagnose problems in the future. He is thorough, professional and great at educating home owners. Marty noticed that the drain was improperly installed in my crawl space and repaired the pvc piping before leaving today.
This experience was especially refreshing because earlier in the week I was told that I would need to replace my ac unit for $7500+ by a different HVAC repair/installation company in the area. In the end, I did not have a refrigerant leak as I was initially told, but a clogged drain. Marty's expertise and honesty are why I will be calling Allen Kelly & Company for all of my HVAC needs in the future.

I was referred to Allen Kelly & Company by my cousin's friend. I am so glad I called. Marty deserves to be the employee of the year. He knew what he was doing. He had his mask on when he came into my home. He is very through in his job. I thought I needed new air conditioner unit and turns out it needed a repair for now. He told me eventually l will need a new air conditioner unit. Marty is professional and friendly. He takes pride in his work and it shows. He is an asset to the company.

Being the maintenance supervisor of 291 units can be a headache. We've had 15+ HVAC units that went down during a 2-month period. After contacting many companies for service, I finally found Allen Kelly. My point of contact has been Clay. Clay has gone above and beyond helping me out. He recommended S-Man gauges and helped me calibrate them. Never in my life has someone gone out of their way to lend a helping hand. at no cost! Fantastic customer service from Clay. How do I give 6 stars? I contacted them via their web site first thing in the morning about my AC running intermittently and Tim texted me back within five minutes. He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone in no time and tell me how to solve the problem myself, getting the AC running again immediately and saving me a service call fee. Totally amazing service.

I highly recommend Allen Kelly & Associates, Inc. Since 2005, when they gave me the best bid on a new HVAC system, this company has always been there for me! They have consistently gone beyond simply being courteous and professional to being genuinely caring, even at 5 pm on a Friday (in the heat of summer, of course), when one of their technicians called me back, diagnosed my thermostat issue, and then walked me through how to fix it, all over the phone - no service call required! It turned out, I'd caused my thermostat problem through 'operator error'.

A service person came out within 24 hours of my call for assistance and fixed my heating unit within an hour. I had been waiting for my heating unit to be fixed for over a month by another provider. The Allen Kelly technician was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very patient with answering my questions and providing the specific repair/service steps. I have been a customer for over 20 years from the time they installed my heat pump through maintenance and the inevitable repair. They have never tried over selling me. When they realized I was a tradesperson, they spoke to me as such and would explain what was wrong and what was done. I've happily referred this company to three friends.

I was having an issue with my heating system. The girls in the office were wonderful and were able to send a technician out in an expedient manner. The technician, Derek was very kind and explained the issue with my heater. He was also very thorough. I requested Clay as he worked with us on our 2 air conditioning units. He is very knowledgeable and we were happy with the installation the the 2 two gentlemen that installed the units. Allen Kelly does a terrific job with yearly maintenance. Their employees are top notch and I would highly recommend this company for all heating and cooking needs.

We have used Allen Kelly for service and maintenance on the HVAC units in several of our homes. They always show up on time and communication is top notch. Allen Kelly and Company installed an HVAC system in a rental house we own. Later, a new tenant moved in, and she reported that the heater was broken. I called the company, and they sent a repairman immediately. It turned out that the tenant just didn't know how to set the thermostat. The repairman taught her how to set it. And they did not charge me for the service call! I am so happy with this company!

I'm only giving a 4 right now since they haven't done the service yet do it's a little premature for me to give a review, but they asked for one anyway. The person I talked to on the phone was very professional, scheduling was easy, and the emails afterwards were prompt. Website was easy to use for the payment If after the two maintenance services, the service continues as it is now and if I remember that I wrote this review I would change it to a 5 The only negative I have right now is that somehow my maintenance schedule dropped off their radar and my equipment hasn't been serviced as regularly as I would like. I prefer staying in the yearly plan and I'm not sure how I got dropped off

We really appreciate Allen Kelly and their approach. The service is great every time, which obviously is most important, but they also don't push us like other places have to always be upgrading/replacing units. Other places are very aggressive on this and it's painful. Allen Kelly helps us get the most value/life from our existing units, gives us honest and helpful feedback, and always gets our units serviced, cleaned, and operating really well. We haven't had to completely replace a unit yet, but when the time comes they'll get our business.

These guys are awesome! We searched and searched for a company that could help us with a heat pump issue on our pool. Allen Kelly & Co made it out the morning after we called and got us taken care of quickly & at a great price. I have never seen personnel so conscientious and professional, committed to providing great service at a fair price. The service coordinator was dedicated to his tasks, keeping us fully appraised. I've used Allen Kelly for about 11 years. Initially to install a new HVAC system, and then to keep it running. Although that first unit was a Trane it needed expensive repairs just a few month after the 10 year warranty expired, (not their fault), so I bought another new system from them, this time a Coleman. All the people I have dealt with there over the years have been helpful, friendly and professional, and their prices are competitive.
My only concern is that the last time I called them they are no longer doing service calls on an emergency basis. Not sure if this is a policy change or if they just were really backed up the last time I called.

I will never waste my time calling another company to fix my AC! These are actually good honest people. A rarity this day in age unfortunately. After being told by two other specialists I need a whole new unit, Allen & Kelly came out and was able to fix it on the spot for next to nothing. My AC has been working great ever since! I was even told a new unit would be around 5k ( if and when I need it) instead of the 8.5k I was quoted for the same unit. ARS came out first and gave me all sorts of "problems" that needed fixing.
They all looked at and tested the same stuff but with drastically different results. The big box places might have more people and can get out quick but they're just going to push something you don't need and over charge for it. I'll DEFINITELY be calling ALLEN & KELLY when my AC DOES ACTUALLY NEED TO BE REPLACED! I really can't say enough about how thankful I am to them!

I tried to schedule preventative maintenance at my residence three times without success. The first two times the technician called to say he was going to be very late and I could not wait for him to show up. The last time, I attempted to make an appointment for first thing in the morning, but when they called to confirm the appointment, they told me a different time than I had originally scheduled for.
The lady I spoke to trying to confirm the appointment time was extremely rude and told me it was not her problem. Complete run around and lack of customer service. I'm taking my business somewhere else.

Horrible experience and horrible communication from. One would expect his electric bills to go DOWN, not UP, when replacing an old and defective HVAC system with a new, higher SEER system, but that was not the case here. In fairness, after several visits over several weeks, the defect has seemingly been rectified, but the president of the company has chosen to ignore my communications requesting additional support of their product. At least dignify my request. which included supple documentation, with a response!

Heat went out, so I called Allen Kelly & Company on Sunday. The technician called back the same day to say that the snow and weather was causing difficulties, and he may not be able to reach me until the following Monday. Okay, the weather was bad, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. No follow up call or service call was ever received. I called another company on Tuesday, and the technician came out within three hours.

Allen-Kelly is great. Used Service Experts for years and bought two systems. Whereas their techs are professional and polite, the goal is of the company is to sell new systems and sales can get rather pushy. Bought from Allen-Kelly because of price, knowledge, no pressure, and and their goal of doing what was best for me. I have used them for annual inspection and service needed on the Lennox (Service Experts) for about 5 years. Great experience!

I called at 8:15 this morning for an appointment for someone to fix my AC as it's blowing hot air. I was put on the schedule for today and was told a tech would call 30 to 45 minutes before arrival. At 1pm, I still haven't heard anything so I called once again and was told I was next on the list and again, I would receive a call from the tech. Well, at 4:30, still nothing, so I called and was told that the tech will still be at his current location for another 1.5 hrs and it would be best if we reschedule.
This is not ok! I've waited since 8:15 this morning and took off from work because I was next on the list. A call would have been nice to advise he would not be able to come as I could have called a different company. I should have gone with my gut feeling after reading the reviews and comments of this company and called someone else. You potentially lost a good amount of money by treating a customer like this!

I recently had a air handling system installed by Allen Kelly and the whole process was a nightmare. I don't know how they stay in business. Their field people are basically incompetent. It took FIVE - Yes 5 - visits to get the installation completed correctly. The town inspector DENIED APPROVAL twice, not once but twice, before the inspector told the company's Operations Manager that he, the inspector, would meet the Company's installers to show them what they were doing wrong.
After that the system finally worked. Part of the failure was one of the dampers was opening into the attic when it was supposed to be opening to the OUTSIDE of the attic. They even failed to connect the power lead to the electrical system so the electro-mechanical damper would open on demand. Do yourself a favor and find a more competent HVAC Company or you will regret it as I have.

Could not be more pleased with Allen Kelly. We have used them for multiple HVAC issues. The service technicians have been-- without fail-- friendly, courteous, and competent. We have always been able to schedule quickly-- a must when your AC goes out in the summer. And, as far as I can tell, their charges are fair and competitive. This is exactly what any home service company should aspire to be.

After making the mistake of hiring the crooked people at Raleigh Heating and Air, we found a huge relief with Allen Kelly. They were timely, efficient, and extremely friendly. Friendly, responsive, good to work with. Andy gave us our estimate for conversion of our furnaces from propane to natural gas, and was more knowledgeable and thorough than other companies who had looked at the same work. He also fit our walk through into a very tight timeframe, as I requested, even though he would normally be allowed twice the time. Tim, who actually did the work, was also very friendly and helpful.
We had a bunch of setbacks getting parts and he showed up 3 times and rolled with the delays with good humor. In the end, the work cost a bit less because of some parts not needed, and no more for the extra visits. Very pleased!

This company is great to work with. We purchased the warranty with the unit we bought from them 5 years ago and they took care of us like we were just buying from them the first time. Ask for Marty, he is the best. He is worth waiting for. He will explain everything to you and is great at his job. He really knows how to take care of the customer and he says that is the way his boss is too.
It seems that this company wants to take care of their customers the best they can. I was sent out a newer tech before Marty who was nice, but not as seasoned as Marty to know how to go above and beyond for a customer. It would be great if more of the newer techs had more time to spend with someone like Marty.
